41st Film Critics Award 2018 in Malayalam Announced: Winners List

The winners of 41st Film Critics Award 2018 in Malayalam were announced.The Kerala Film Critics Association Awards are presented annually by the Kerala Film Critics Association to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Malayalam language film industry of India

The films are selected by the members of the association for the movies released in 2017. The winner of the association awards for the best film will receive a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh, and the second best film, best director, best actor and best actress will be presented Rs. 25,000 each

Thondimuthalum Dridasakshiyum by Dileesh Pothern won best film award. Fahad fazil won Best  Actor for this movie and Sajeev Pazhoor won the award for the Best Screenplay. Best actress award was bagged by Manju Warrier for her performance in Udaharanam Sujatha. Jayaraj won the award for the best director.  Music Director M. K Arjunan, Actor Indrana, Devan and Jalayja were honoured by special awards from film critics associtaion. The detailed list of winner of Film critics awards in 2018 are given below.

65th National Film Awards 2018 : winners list

The winners of 65th National Film Awards were announced on Friday, 13 April by a 10-member jury headed by renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.inod Khanna was posthumously given the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema, late actress Sridevi won the Best Actress award for her performance in MOM. Actor Riddhi Sen won the Best Actor award for Bengali film Nagarkirtan.

Village Rockstars (Assamese) won Best Feature film award while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had turned out to be the biggest hit at the domestic box-office, won the award for Best Popular Film .Bhayanakam directed by Jayaraj (Malayalam) won the award for best director. the film is in  the 'navarasa' seriesbased on  "Kayar" written by the late writer Thakazhi Sivasankarapillai.

Amit Masurkar’s Newton, which was sent as India’s official entry to the Oscars, was named the Best Hindi film. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum by Dileesh Pothen won the award for best Malayalam film . Fahad fazil won Best Supporting Actor for this movie and Sajeev Pazhoor won the award for the Best Screenplay. Actress Parvathy received special mention for her performance in Take off. ake Off also won the award for the Best Production Design. Malayalam Film, Bhayanakam won the awards for Best Direction (Jayaraj), Best Adaptive Screenplay (Jayaraj.) and best cinematography (Nikhil S Praveen)

Singer KJ Yesudas won the award for Best Playback Singer Male for Poyi Maranjakaalam from Viswasapoorvam Mansoor and Shashaa Tirupati won the award for Best Playback Female for Vaan Varuvaan from Kaatru Veliyidai. Winners list of Kerala State Film Awards for 2017 films |Kerala State Film Awards announced in 2018 |48th Kerala State Film Awards 2017 : Winners of 48th Kerala State Film Awards 2017 will be announced on March 8th, 2018 by  Minister of state for cinema AK Balan at a press conferencein Trivandrum. The  awards were selected based on a list of 68 Malayalam films selected by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. The 10 member jury will declared the awards in various categories from 110 movies submitted for the award. Kerala State Film Award is to honour great artists and movies of the state

Jury : The winners were selected by 10-member jury headed by  director T.V. Chandran. The other jury members are directors Dr. Biju, Manoj Kana, sound engineer Vivek Anand, Cameraman Santhosh Thundiyil, Music Director Jerry Amaldev, Script writter Cheriyan Kalpakavadi, writter M Rajeev Kumar and actress Jalaja. Mahesh Panchu,is the member secretary. He is currently the Film Academy secretary.

Best Film: Ottamuri Velicham directed by Raul Riji Nair won the award for the best film.The film stars Vinitha Koshy, Dipak Parambol and Devaki Rajendran. Lijo Jose Pallisery walked away with the award for Best Director for his film E Ma You.

 Best actor and actress :Actor Indrans bagged the top honour for his role of a distraught father searching for his missing son in the movie Aalorukkam. Parvathy, who played the lead role in the critically-acclaimed as well as commercially successful film Take Off, won the Best Actor (Female) award.

Oscars Awards 2018 : Winners List |90th Academy Awards

Oscars Awards 2018  |90th Academy Awards winners were announced and honored on 4th Match 2018 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

The awards for best film was bagged by "The Shape of Water" directed by Guillermo del Toro.  He also won the best director award at the 90th academy awards.

The film "The Shape of Water," which had 13 nominations at the  90th Academy Awards but , won big with four awards, including best picture and best director. Guillermo del Toro said in his best director acceptance speech, "I think the greatest thing the industry does is erase the line in the sand. We should continue doing that, when the world tells us to make it deeper."

Gary Oldman won best actor award for  "Darkest Hour" while Frances McDormand bagged best actress award for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri". The complete list of winners of Oscar awards 2018 are given below.

The late Sridevi, who died this month and Shashi Kapoor, who died in December, 2017, were honoured. "Roktokorobi" a Benali film by Amitabh Bhattacharjee was Indian nomination for the best foreign film . Vanitha Film Awards 2018 Winners List | Venue, and Time

CERA VANITHA FILM AWARDS 2018: Winners List :
The winners of Vanitha Film Awards 2018  were declared. The popular Cera Vanitha Film Awards powered by Josco Jewellers was announced  in  February 2018. The award event will be held on February 25th, 2018 at Karyavattom Sports Hub in Greenfild stadium in Trivandrum , Kerala

This is the 15th edition of Vanitha Film Awards.  Vanitha Film Awards are given in 25 categories including Life achievement award.  The movies released from january1, 2017 to December 31  were considered for the award. The awards in various categories including , Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Actress  etc were decided based on the polls conducted by Vanitha and Malayalam Manorama . The winners in each category of awards were chosen by more than one lakh readers who filled in the nominations published in Malayala Manorama and Vanitha and voted through Manorama Online, Vanitha Online and special booths.

The award ceremony was attended by film personalities in India. Celebrities from Malayalam , Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and other south Indian languages will participate in the event. To add color and entertainment to the show there will be many dance, comdey and music performances by cine artists. Actress Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan, Deepthi Sathi , Isha Thalwar , Ilyana Dicruse & Rai Lekshmi  and actor  Kunjacko Boban will entertain the audience through their magical dance performances. In addition to this there will be song performance by Devisree Prasad, Vijay Yesudas, Swetha Mohan & Shreya Ghoshal etc.

The award night will start 4th February, 2018 at 5:00 PM ar kitex ground.   on Mazhavil Manorama channel from 5:00 PM onwards. The winners of the FlowersTV Music Awards 2018  will be decided by online votes received. Any one can vote at http://www.flowerstv.in/musicawards.

SIIMA Awards 2017-Winners List | Telecast on 3rd September 2017

SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) 2017 event as held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 30th June and 1st July 2017. It is the sixth edition of SIIMA awards.

The award show aims to honor best films and artists in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam film industry. Winners of Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2017 | Telecast on 27th August 2017

Winners of first Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2017 were distributed in a colorful event held at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly on 22 August 2017.

Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2017- are given by Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama and FM channel Radio Mango. This is the biggest music awards according to the sponsors and aim to find the best music talents in the movie industry. The competition is for movies released during July 2016 and July 2017. Hero MotoCorp Unibic Cookies and Bhima are the sponsors of the awards event.

The award night will be telecasted on 27th August 2017 on Mazhavil Manorama channel from 5:00 PM onwards.   Categories of the Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2017 are in Best Song of the Year,Best Singer(Male),Best singer(Female), Best Lyricist, Best Music Director, Best dual Song, Best Song (non-films).

Singer K. J Yedudas were honored in the event. P Jayachandran won best singer awards while Rajalekshmi was selected as best singer in female category. Gopi Sunder got best music director Award at the event. Many singers, music experts and celebrities were present during the event including Yesudas, Sankar Mahadevan, Vani Jayaram, KS Chitra, Usha Uthup, haricharan, Alphons, Stephen Devassy, Rimi Tomy, Aparna Balamurali, Anu Sithara, Ramya Nambeesan etc

 The winners of the Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2017 will be decided by online and SMS votes received. The competition is for movies released during July 2016 and July 2017. We have earlier added  SMS Voting tools information for the awards earlier this year.

64th Film fare Awards South 2017 -Telecast on Asianet on 6th August 2017 | Winners List

Malayalam Channel Asianet will telecast the 64th Film fare Awards South 2017 on August 6th, 05:30 pm Onwards. The awards show and star studded mega Event  were held on  on 17 June 2017 at Novotel and HICC Complex in Hyderabad to  honor the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2016.

The show was hosted by Allu Sirish, Vijay Deverakonda and Ragini Dwivedi. But in Malayalam version going to be shown on Asianet a malayalam anchor will be added for better entertainment. Artists and technicians received awards at the 64th Filmfare Awards 2017 South ceremony in various south Indian languages. The winners of Best Picture are Maheshinte Prathikaaram (Malayalam), Thithi (Kannada), Pelli Choopulu (Telugu) and Joker (Tamil)

Kirik Party (Kannada), Maheshinte Prathikaaram (Malayalam), Irudhi Suttru and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada(Tamil), and Nannaku Prematho (Telugu) won most awards in respective languages.

Winners of Tamil Nadu State Film Awards 2009-2014 | Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress

The Tamil Nadu State government has announced film awards for six years staring from 2009 to 2014. The awards were decided by a Jury lead by former judge A. Raman . The awards are given in various categories including Best Movie, Best Director, Best Scriptwriter, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Villain, Best Comedian, Best Character Artist, Best Comedian, Best Villain, Best Child artist, Best Music director , Best Dialogue Writer etc.. The Tamil Nadu State Films Award were discontinued in 2008. But recent efforts by Actor Vishal, the  chairman of the producers council of the Tamil Cinema recently requested the government to reinstate the awards. State film awards is a great honour to film artists and technicians. The announcement came as a surprise
