Singer Gayathri Ashokan married Musician Purbayan Chatterjee | Wedding Photos

Malayalam Singer Gayathri Ashokan married noted Sitar player and composer Purbayan Chatterjee in a traditional Kerala wedding held at Paramekkavu Temple in Thrissur on December 4, 2016.

Gayathri is trained classical singer and playback singer. She has debuted as a playback for the movie Arayannangalude Veedu for Deena dayalo Rama. She won Kerala state film award for best playback singer in 2003.  Purbayan Chatterjee hails from Kolkata is also a trained classical singer and composer. He is known for his experiments in fusing Indian classical music with contemporary world music.  He is the winner of Presidents of award for being the Best Instrumentalist at an young age(15 years). Both Gayathri and Purbayan were friends for a long time.

Winners List of 2nd Asianet Comedy Awards 2016

Winners of 2nd Asianet comedy Awards 2016 were announced on 17 November 2016 in a glittering star studded event at Adlux International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Karukutty, Angamaly, Kochi, India.

The show honored comedy talents from television and film fields. Comedy skits and dance by television and film starts added color to the show. Mammootty, Dileep, Jayaram were the special guests and they distributed the awards. Winter time skin care tips
    *Use warm water, not hot water to bath and shortern shower time.
    *Use mild soaps like glycerine soaps to lather
    *Apply good moisturizer after bath
    *Apply sunscreen with SPF 15 or more before leaving home or whenever needed
    *Try to use lip balm with sunscreen.


If moisturizing lotions are not working apply coconut /virgin coconut oil on skin after bath. It will be absorbed by the skin easily leaving it smooth.

For dry skin :-use cooked potato paste, mix it with milk and glycerin. Apply the mixture on skin for 20 minutes and wash the face using cold water.

For Sensitive Skin/ Oily Skin :- mix dry oats, egg yolk and honey . Apply it for 20 minutes. Once it is dry scrub the face for 4 minutes and wash using cold water.

For normal/oily skin: mix egg white and yolk and apply it on the face

Nisha Sarangh is an Indian actress working mostly in Malayalam films and television serials. She is very popular among Malayalam audience as Neelima (Neelu) in Uppum Mulakum comedy serial on Flowers TV.

Career
Nisha faced camera for the first time for Agnisakshi, a malayalam movie by Shyamaprasad. She took a break from acting following her marriage. Later, she debuted on malayalam television screen through the serial Durga. Following which she was part of many malayalam serials including Aranazhika neram, Januray, Alilathali, Veendum jwalayayi, Indumukhi chandramukhi, Vadhu, Banduvaru Shathruvaru and many more. She got a much awaited break on mini-screen through Uppum Mulakum where she plays the role on Neelima, a house maker who has four kids and a nagging husband. It was her acting career that helped her to improve her life. The serial revolves around the life of son-in-law, Senthil and his wife Chandra, a working women.The love story narrated in this serial is about the ups and downs of marriage and the strong bond, a married couple shares.   The pair is portrayed by Saravanan Meenatchi fame Mirchi Senthil Kumar and Sreeja Chandran. They took a break from TV screen following their wedding in July 2014(photos here) .  The reel-turned-real life couple will appear for the first time after their wedding through this new serial Mappillai. Manjal Prasadam Serial on Flowers TV starts on November 28th, 2016

Manjal Prasadam is a new malayalam Serial on Flowers TV. The new teleseries will be launched on November 28th, 2016, Monday at 9:00 PM. The serial is a super natural thriller as shown in promos.

This magical serial is directed by Pradeep Madhavan. Music is given by Renjin Rajavarama. Actress Ann Mathews plays the role of heroine Vaishnavi. Other popular actors in the serial include Kalamandalam Radhika, Sanuja, Kalyani, Sudeep, Nidhin, Ajumsha, Sreerag and Anil.

Dileep married Kavya Madhavan | Wedding photos

Actor Dileep married actress Kavya Madhavan in Kochi on 25th November 2016 on Friday around 9.45 Am.  The function was held on the seventh floor of Hotel PGS Vedanta at Kaloor. The simple wedding ceremony was mainly attended by close friends and relatives.  The couple were dressed in traditional Kerala style and the ceremony was broadcasted live.It was also a star studded event with many celebrities including actors Mammootty, Salim Kumar, Jayaram, Janardhanan, KPAC Lalitha, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Meera Jasmine, Jomol and Chippy, directors Kamal, Joshiy and Siddique, and producers Suresh Kumar, Renjith etc., attending the function.

This is the second marriage for both. The wedding was held with the blessings from their family members from both sides.  Dileep spoke to the media after the wedding as  "We seek blessings of all of you. The problems in my life were not because of  Kavya . She acted with  me in more than 20 films. When I thought about second marriage, I thought I will marry my friend, who unfortunately became the scapegoat through gossips. I spoke to my daughter, mother and brother and they all extended their support. The three of us, Kavya, Meenakshi and me, want to have a happy and peaceful life with my mother," he said. Dileep's daughter was also present she said " It was I who I forced them to marry and the wedding took place with my support”.

Dileep married actress Manju Warrier on 20 October 1998 at Aluva Sri Krishna Temple and quit her career to became a housewife. The couple have a daughter, Meenakshi. Dileep and Manju divorced in January 2015. There were rumours that since then that  Kavya is the reason for their divorce and the this is fueled a revelation by column writer Pallissery in Mangalam Varika on the love affair of Kavya and Dileep. But both Kavya and Dileep keep on denying marriage rumours and said they are only friends. However in a recent interview given in Vanitha magazine he said that he may remarry if his daughter Meenakshi approves it.  Anyway, all these rumors became true. The winners of D3- D4Dance Season 3- dance reality show on Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama will be declared on Sunday, November 20th, 2016. The prize and mementos for winners in Solo, Pair and group category performace will be distributed by Cheif guest Suresh Gopi.  The grand finale of D3-D4Dance Season 3-will be aired on November 20th, 2016 at 6:00 PM.  The season 3 of D4 Dance was launched on 28 March 2016 at 8.30. Since then, the  show was aired every Monday to Thursday at 8:30 PM. The grand finale is termed super finale by Mazhavil Manorama this time.

Malayalam actress Sarayu married associate director Sanal V Devan on Saturday 12th, 2016. The traditional wedding ceremony took place in Jawaharlal Convention Centre in Thrissur. Actress Sarayu and Sanal got engaged early this year , on April 4, 2016 at Thripunithara in Ernakulam District of Kerala.

Sarayu is currently  acting as heroine of  Earan Nilavu serial. She has also appeared in many advertisements and television shows. Sarayu is also a drained dancer. Sarayu started her journey as movie actress by doing minor roles in Chkkaramuthu(2006), Veruthe Alla Bharaya(2006) and Sultan. She debuted as heroine in Kappal Muthalali (2009). So far she acted in more than 40 Malayalam Films and two Tamil Movies.She has also directed, produced and acted, in her own short film, Pachha in Malayalam.  Sarayu also acted in Malayalam Television serials including Velankani Mathavu (Surya TV) Manaporutham (Surya TV), Eeran Nilavu (Flowers TV). Sarayu the only child of  Mohan  from Ernakulam & Uma from Kannur.  She did her graduation on BA Literature at Maharajas College, Ernakulam. Malayalam TV Channel ratings for Week 44: Flowers TV in second position

Malayalam TV Channel ratings for the week 44 in 2016 is published by BARC (Broadcast Arudence Reseaerch Council) India.  Latest Ratings for malayalam television channels are published for Week 44: Saturday,29th October 2016 to Friday, 4th November 2016.

Asianet is still on Number 1 position. Flowers TV became the number 2 channels. It is a great achievement for a new channel headed by Sreekandan Nair. Asianet Movies reached 3rd position.
Mazhavil Manorama's ratings dropped to five while Surya TV dropped into 4th position. Kiran , Asianet Plus and Kairali TV channels ranked below the above channels while Amrita TV dropped to lowest position. Live telecast of Indian super league helped Asianet movie in addition to dubbed version of Tamil movie Kabali  telecasted on the same channel.

As usual all the Asianet Serials topped the program list. Parasparam seral maintained the number 1 position followed by Chandanamazha and Karuthamuthu Serials

The drop in channel ratings, especially for Surya and Mazhavil Manorama came after  wbarc filed police case against some malayalam channels for fraud in screwing up ratings. The effect can be seen after they fix the problem.
