Story: Athamsakhi is a love story. The story revolves around members of Manimuttam family- Madhava Menon, his wife Arundathi and two daughters, Nanditha and Niya. Madhavan Menon is the head of the family and a rich business man. In addition to this Madhava Menon and Arudhathi have an adopted son, Sathyajith. He was brought into the Manimuttam family at an young age and  loved and treated as a member of that family.  Sathyajith is now an IPS officer and the City Police Commissioner of Trivandrum. He is in love with Madhava Menon's daughter Nanditha, a doctor. They were dreaming about their marriage and future life together when Madhavan Menon's daughter, Charulatha from his first relationship enters into their lives. The serial is about the turn of events following this event.

Laughing Villa -the Malayalam celebrity comedy show was launchedd on Surya TV on 30th July 2016 at 8:30 PM. This weekend show will be telecasted every Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 PM. Chinthavishtayaya Seetha is the new serial coming soon on Asianet. The malayalam channel Asainet launched promo of their new tele series Chinthavishtayaya Seetha. The details on lauch date, telecast time, cast and crew are not yet out.

Chinthavishtayaya Seetha resembeles the name of hit movie Chinthavishtayaya Shamala directed by Sreenivasan. The new family drams showcase acting talents of many new comers. The new sopa opera is going to replace Karuthamuthu, a hit serial that is approaching its climax episode.

Naga Kanyaka -New Malayalam Serial on Surya TV starts on 20th June 2016

Naaga Kanyaka is the new Malayalam Serial coming soon on Malayalam Channel Surya TV. This serial falls under the category of supernatural fantasy thriller. It is the malayalam dubbed version of super hit hindi serial Naagin — Mohabbat Aur Inteqaam Ki Dastaan aired on colors TV. It was produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner Balaji Telefilms.

Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan are the main actor in lead roles of this thriller show and Sudha Chandran plays the main role in negative shade. Mouni Roy is popular among Malayali audience through her role as Sathi in hit serial Kailasanthan on Asianet.

Tanushree Dasgupta is the creative director of this tele series. Naagakanyaka is directed by Santram Varma,Chandni,Niraj,Lalit Marathe and Rakesh Chowdhury Creative director  Naagakanyka ( or Naagin) story is wriiten by a team of writers Mrinal Jha,R M Joshi,Neha Singh,Ankush Nagpal based on the concept by Seema Shrivastav. Alina Padikkal is a TV anchor, RJ and Actress in Malayalam Television serials.  She is well known as the host of many TV shows on Malayalam mini Screen. She is now acting as heroine in Asianet serial Bharya.

Career

Alina Padikkal started her career  as television anchor through the program Butterflies on Malayalam Channel Asianet. She won Kerala State Television Award in 2005 for the above program and establish as a versatile TV host. She later hosted many shows and programs on  various malayalam channels including Asianet Plus, Kairali TV, Surya TV and Kiran TV. She gained much popularity through the program Aarppo Irro , reality show for television artists. She co-costed the show with Baiju Jospeh. Alina later anchored  Smart Show  on Flowers TV along with Sreekandan Nair. She is also the host of Comedy Circus  on Mazhavil Manorama

She debuted as the heroine of tele-serial through Bharya  on Asianet directed by V.K Gireeshkumar under Risesun banners. In this serial she plays the role of Nayana, wife Nandan-sond of Viswanthan and Jayaprabha.  Soon after her marriage with Nandan, wicked Nayana creates problems in their house, with the support of her parents and brother. The character is Nayana, with shades of grey, is already noted by the malayalam audiences.

Alina Padikkal was born on 1st December 1993 to Mr  Philippos Padikkal and Bindu Philippose from Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. After completing her schooling from Holy Angels’ ISC School Nanthancode, Thiruvananthapuram, she  took graduation in Media Studies from Christ University, Bangalore, Karnataka . Nayana is a women biker and was featured on an article in Metroplus of The hindu news paper.

The winners of Kerala State Television Awards 2015 have been announced by Kerala Chalachitra Academy on Friday, June 3, 2016.The awards were selected from the entries submitted for the award.

The winners of Kerala State TV award 2015 in the feature section were selected by the jury members including, Chairman Nemom Pushparaj, Sona Nair, Anil Thomas, Salam Bappu, VIjayakumar and CR Rajamohan. The awards in the non-feature section were selected by a five-member jury chaired by Suresh Shivadas while the winners in article category were determined by a Jury chaired by Sreebala K Menon.

Kerala State Television Awards for 2014 and 2015 announced

The winners of Kerala State Television Awards for various categories for the year 2014 and 2015 have been announced by Kerala Chalachitra Academy on Friday, June 3, 2016.

The winners of Kerala State TV award 2015 in the feature section were selected by the jury members including, Chairman Nemom Pushparaj, Sona Nair, Anil Thomas, Salam Bappu, VIjayakumar and CR Rajamohan. The serial Eshwaran Sakshiyayi, directed by KK Rajeev, and aired on Flowers TV has won five awards in the categories of Best Serial, dubbing artist (Female), second actor, aecond actress and editor. Amrita TV's Kattukurangu won the second Best Serial award in 2015. The comedy show Comedy Super Night, hosted by actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, has been selected the best television show. Actress Priyamani got engaged to  boyfriend Mustufa Raj on Friday, May 27, 2016. The engagement function was a private event attended by their close family members and friends. The engagement ceremony was held  at Priyamani's residence in Banashankari, Bengaluru.

Mustafa Raj is a  mumbai based busnessman. It was reported that the couple met during Indian Premiere League (IPL) a few years ago. Since then they are friends and eventually became lovers. They took their relationship to the next level with the blessings of the family members and by the official engagement. It is reported that their marriage will took place by the end of this year.
