Bharya-New Malayalam Serial on Asianet

Bharya is a new malayalam serial coming soon on Asianet. The channel has started showing promos of this new family drama. The promos indicate the story of a huband and wife and their dreams.  The details on the launch date, telecast time are not yet announced. The new teleseries will be launched in May. It is going to replace Sthreedhanam, one of the longest running and popular serial on Asianet. stay tuned for more details on cast, crew, actors and actresses of this new family show.

Henko Flowers Indian Film Awards 2016 on April 29, 2016: Venue and ticket details

Flowers TV is all set to host their first Flowers Indian Film Awards 2016. They have also hosted and announced their first Flowers Television Awards in 2016. Flowers Indian Film Awards, sponsored by henko, will take place in Sharjah Cricket Stadium on April 29 at 6.30pm.

The awards were selected by a Jury with director Hariharan as chairman. The jury also include eminent persons from both south Indian and bollywood film Industries. The show is going to be star studded event with celebrities from Hindi, Tamil,Telugu and Malayalam Film Industries. The show will be attended by a huge crowd and nearly five hour program that ads glitz and glamour to the awards show. We will update the winners of the film awards following the function.

Winners of Asianet Mylanchi little Champions Grand Finale

Neelima from Kannur is the title winner of the Mylanchi little Champions on Asianet. The winners were declared in the grand finale of mappilappattu reality show Mylanchi Little Champions on Malayalam Channel Asianet.  The grand finale was held on 22nd April 2016 , Friday at National Theatre in Abudabi, UAE.  

Five candidates have reached the grand finale of Mylanchi Little Champions. They were selected from 15 candidates participated in the show. The finalists are Adhish Krishna, Meharin, Neelima, Muhammed Famis and Shanver Babu. 

Mylanchi little Champions is the season 5 of Mylanchi reality show on Asianet launched on Asianet Middle East on 17 July 2015 for kids aged between 12-16 years. Lekshmi Menon is the host of the show judged by Kannur Shareef and Sithara. The show is directed by Zergo Vijayaraj

Dini Elizabeth Daniel (Dini Daniel) is an actress active in Malayalam Television Serials. She also worked as a TV anchor.

Career

Dini started her career as a television anchor for Malanadu Online channel (Mukhangal )when she was a school student. She later hosted shows like Club Class in Safari channel and Valkkannadi in Asianet while working as a lecturer in nursing college. These programs gave her opportuniity in Malayalam TV serials. to pursue her passion in acting she quit her teaching job.

Dini debuted as a malayalam television serial actress through the serial Pattusari on Mazhavil Manorama Channel directed by A.M Nazeer. It was followed by Sarayu, Jalakavathil, Sthreedhanam, Thoovalsparsham, Vadhu, Chavara Kuriakose Achen, Vazhvemayam, Mahadevanpilla Malayalam Vadyar, Sangamam, Vellanakalude Nadu , Chandanamazha ans Chechiyamma. She has a record of acting in four serials at the same time in 2015 - as Dr Devika in Vadhu (Surya TV), as Varada in Sthreedhanam(Asainet), as ACP in Sangamam (Surya TV) and as Aswathy in Thoovalsparsam. She got a break as Varada in Sthreedhanam,one of the popular serial on Asianet with more than 1000 episodes to its credit.  She later captured the attention as Jasmine in Chandanamazha serial on Asianet. Her presence in all these hit serials made her well-known among malayali audience.

Dini also debuted as a film actress through the movie Theeram directed by Saheed Arafath. She also participated in Malayalam TV shows Smart Show on Flowers TV and dont do dont do on Asianet plus

Personal life and family details
Dini is the daughter of  C M Daniel and Susamma Daniel, retired teachers, from Chandanapally, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. She has a brother and sister, both are settled in USA.  She completed her schooling at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya School, Thiruvananthapuram.   After completing post graduation in Nursing (MSc), Dini worked as Lecturer at Chitra Institute of Medical Sciences And Research Centre Pandalam. She is married to Mr. Mathews Philip (general manager in a three star hotel in Trivandrum) and they are blessed with a daughter, Angela. Dini quit her job as a nursing college teacher to pursue a career in acting.

Mridhula Vijai (also referred as Mridula Vijay) is an Indian Actress known for her works in Malayalm Serials , Malayalam  and Tamil films. She is also a TV anchor and dancer.
Mridula  is known to Malayali audience through her role as Arya in Kalyanasougandikam, an Asianet TV serial and Krishna in KrishnaThulasi Tv series on Mazhavil Manorama.
Career
Mridula started her journey as an artist through dance. She started her acting career through a short film. She made her debut as a heroine through Tamil Movie Jeniffer Karuppaiya (2015) directed by Saravana Pandiyan. It was followed by a leading role in Malayalam Movie 'Celebration' written and directed by Manjith Divakar.

Mridula made her mini screen debut as the anchor of Kairali TV Reality Show ' Dance Party'.

Mridhula shot to fame through her debut Malayalm Serial Kalyana Sougandikam on Asianet. In this family drama she portrayed the role of Arya, a bold girl and one of the leading characters of the serial.  She later bagged the role of heroine Krishna, a helpless girl, in Mazhavil Manorama Serial Krishna Thulasi. The contrast of the two characted gave her enough opportunity to showcase her talent and versatality as an actress. These two serials made her popular among malayali viewers.

Personal Life
Mridual is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Vijai living in Thiruvananthapuram. She is currently pursuing B.A in  Psychology. She is a trained classical (Bharathanatyam) dancer. Cinema is her passion and she aspires to make it big in Films. Noted cinematographer Anandakuttan was her father's uncle and her grandfather also worked as film editor in malayalam movies.

Actress Meghna Vincent -Don Tony Engagement Photos

Actress Meghna Vincent got engaged to Don Tony, Actress Dimple Rose's brother on April 10, 2016. Megna, (chandanamazha serial and Daivam Thantha veedu fame) shared her engagement and betrothal with Don Tony on her social media page. She shared her excitement as follows

Winners of 8th Vayalar Rama Varma Film and Television Awards 2016

The winners of 8th Vayalar Ramavarama Awards for Movies and Television were announced on April 6, 2016 at Trivandrum. The awards were given to movies released during March 2015 to March 2016 and also to television programs aired during that period. A jury led by Sreekumaran Thambi as the chairman selected the awards. Other members of the jury include Poovachal Khader, Dr M.R Thamban, K.Chandrika, Balu Kiriyathu, Somasekharan Nair, Vayalar Madhavan Kutty, Sabeer Thirumala .

Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Nedumudi Venu were honoured with Chalachithra Rathna  and Vayalar Kalashretra awards, respectively, while Ramachandra Babu received award for over all contribution.   Malayalam movie  Su Su Vathmeekam directed by Renjith Sanker is selected as the best movie and Jayasurya bagged the best actor award. Nyla Usha is the anchor of the brand new game show 'Minute to win it' on Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama.  The channel picked actress, model and Radiao Jocky  Nyla Usha to host the reality show. Minute to Win it is the Malayalam adaptation of International game show with the same name. This  new game will be launched on April 9, 2016 at 9:00 PM.

Nyla Usha is the daughter of Gopakumar and Usha Kumari. After completing her studies at Holy Angel's Convent, and All Saints College, Trivandrum, Kerala, she moved to Dubai, UAE in 2004 to join the radio station Hit 96.7 where she currently works as a radio jockey. Nyla got married to Rona Rajan in 2007 and they have a son named Aarnav.

Nyla Usha became familar face to malayalm audience after her debut as an actress through Mamootty starrer, Kunjanathante Kada. Her latest movie is National Award winning movie Pathmari by Salim Ahamed, where she appeared in a cameo role. Minute to Win it will have 82 episodes and it is the Malayalam version of  popular game show that run successfully in 60+ countries already. Mazhavil Manorma channel is all set to launch this new game show in partnership with Endemol Shine. The first season will span over a period that cover  festive seasons of like Vishu, Ramzan, Onam and Christmas and include celebrities as the contestants. It is a game show where the contestants take part in a series of 60-second (1-minute) challenges that use objects that are commonly available around house.The contestant is needed to complete a certain level with 60-seconds time period and need to complete each and every levels to reach the Top of Money Tree with Three Lives. The winner of the show will be awarded Rs.10 Lakh Rupees as cash prize.
