Actress Meghna Vincent got engaged to Don Tony, Actress Dimple Rose's brother on April 10, 2016. Megna, (chandanamazha serial and Daivam Thantha veedu fame) shared her engagement and betrothal with Don Tony on her social media page. She shared her excitement as follows

"I am engaged(Don's little girl).....my man , i am officialy urs...feeling soo blessed.. I am soo lucky to have our flmy....thank u god for giving me a good dady , a loving mummy and sweet sisy ...."

The betrothal function was attended by only family and friends. The engagement ceremony  and the dresses were quite unique. Megna wore a modern version of chattayum Mundum while Don complimented it with Mundu and ols-style shirt.

Earlier this year, on Februray 2016, Meghna anounced her marriage with Don Tony.  The groom, Don, from Thrissure is the chief executive of a private company Dream Creations. He is the son of Tony and Dency and brother of actress Dimple Rose.

Megna is the daughter of Vincent and Nimmy (yesteryear actress ) and is originally from Kochi, Ernakulam.  Megna is known to Malayali audience by the name of her character Amrita in the Asianet Malayalam Serial Chandana Mazha. For Tamil audience she is Seetha, heroine of Daivam Thantha Veedu, Tamil serial on Vijay TV.  Actress Meghna made her debut in Malayalam Television through the serial 'Swami Ayyappan' . Following which she appeared in malayalam TV serials Autograph, Parinayam, Indira, Mohakkadal, Swargavathil , Chakravakam and now in Chandanamazha. She also acted in movies including Parankimala.

Winners of 8th Vayalar Rama Varma Film and Television Awards 2016

The winners of 8th Vayalar Ramavarama Awards for Movies and Television were announced on April 6, 2016 at Trivandrum. The awards were given to movies released during March 2015 to March 2016 and also to television programs aired during that period. A jury led by Sreekumaran Thambi as the chairman selected the awards. Other members of the jury include Poovachal Khader, Dr M.R Thamban, K.Chandrika, Balu Kiriyathu, Somasekharan Nair, Vayalar Madhavan Kutty, Sabeer Thirumala .

Sarayu the only child of  Mohan  from Ernakulam & Uma from Kannur.  She did her graduation on BA Literature at Maharajas College, Ernakulam. She is currently doing her post graduate degree in Literature from Annamalai University.  Sarayu started her journey as movie actress by doing minor roles in Chkkaramuthu(2006), Veruthe Alla Bharaya(2006) and Sultan. Winners of 63rd National Film Awards 2015: Complete List

National Films Awards - the most prestigious film awards in India organised by directorate of film festival  for the best films in 2015 was declared on 28 March 2016. S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus "Baahubali" has won the Best Film award at 63rd National Film Award. Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor award for his role in ‘Piku’while Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress for her role in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns.” This is Amitabh Bachchan’s fourth national award whereas for Kangana this is the third one after  having won best actress for Queen (2014) and  for best supporting actress for Fashion (2008).

Winners of Pathinalam Ravu Season 4 Grand Finale on Mediaone TV

Ajmal is the winner of Pathinalam Ravu Season 4 on Mediaone TV. He is from Malappuram district in Kerala.  The title winner received 3 Lakh Indian Rupees in addition to certificate, memento and special gifts. Narmada won the second prize while Abdul Hakeem bagged the third prize.

Pathinalam Ravu 4 on Malayalam Channel Mediaone TV is the  the season 4 of Mappilappattu Reality Show. The grand finale of  Pathinalam Ravu Season 4  was  held  at Dinesh Auditorium in Kannur on 13 March 2016 at 6.30 PM in front of a huge audience. Five candidates  competed for the title . The winners of   Ugram Ujjwalam Season 2 will be declared on March 24, 2016 at 8: 00 PM on Malayalam entertainment channel Mazhavil Manorama. The Ugram Ujwalam 2 Grand Finale will be aired from March 21 to 24 at 8:00 PM. Ugram Ujjwalam 2, is a platform to showcase the extraordinary talents of ordinary people. The shows to highlight all artists with unconventional talents. Nearly 60 selected contestants participated in this show.

Ugram Ujjwalam 2, the season of unique fun filled talent show is being judged by accomplished  Dancer & actor Vineeth Radhakrishnan, Actress Ambika/Actress Kaniha and Actress Devayani.  Levin Simon Joseph and Sruthi Menon are the host of the show. D3-D4Dance Season 3 starting on 28 March 2016 on Mazhavil Manorama

Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama is all set to premiere its super hit show D4Dance Season 3.  The first episode of D3 aka D4Dance Season 3, the popular dance reality show will be launched on 28 March 2016 at 8.30. The  show will be aired every Monday to Thursday at 8:30 PM.  This reality show is directed by Yamuna Yami.

Even thought the show comes with lot of new elements, the permanent judging panel remains the same. choreographer Prasanna Master, award-winning actress Priya Mani and professional Bollywood dancer and trainer Neerav Bavlecha are the permanent judges of D4Dance. Actress Shobhana will be part of  D3 as a celebrity judge.

D3-D4Dance Season 3

Popular TV anchor Govinda Padmasoorya, who hosted D4Dance season 1 and season 2 will not be part of the show. Instead model turned actor Adhil Ibrahim will be the new co-host of the show along with  Pearle Maaney. The channel is already showing promos of the new anchor and the show.

D3-D4Dance will be three times bigger than the previous seasons due to the inclusion three categories, Solo, Pair and Group. This dance reality show  aims to showcase the best dancing talent and team from the selected contestants.

Malavika Wales is an Indian Actress working mostly in south Indian films. She is also a television actress, dancer and model. She is known currently to Malayali audience as Ponnambili, the leading character of a malayalam serial on Mazhavil Manorama

Career
She started her career as a dancer. She is trained in classical dance since  six-year-old under maestros such as Kalamandalam Kshemavathy and Kalamandalam Prasanna Unni. She has received formal training in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattom and Kuchipudi. Malavika debuted into entertainment industry through a documentary Ayisha directed by Lenin Rajendran while studying in Class VI.

The turning point in her life was Miss Kerala contest in 2009. She participated in the contest at the age of 16, entered the third round of competition and won the title Miss Beautiful Eyes at the contest. Director Vineeth Sreenivasan noted her photos following the contest and cast her as heroine of his directorial debut movie Malarvadi Arts Club. The movie was also the debut film of Nivin Pauly and was box office hit. Following Malarvadi Arts Club, she was  featured in Lenin Rajendran Makaramanju, Innanu Aa Kalyanam, My fan Ramu and Attakadha. Malavika played the lead role in Nandeesha, the Kannada remake of malayalam film Thilakkam. She also acted in Tamil movies Enna Satham Indha Neram, Azhagumagan, Arasuvau Arasan and Telugu movie Dhaari. So far she didn't receive the success she hoped for, from the films. Malavika Wales was born to late P.G.Wales and Sudina Wales at Thrissur on 15 November 1993. Her father was  a chartered accountant. She has an elder brother named Mithun Wales. Malavika did her schooling at Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School Thrissur. Soon after the movie Malarvady Arts Club and completion of Plus II, she joined a three month diploma course in acting at Anupam Khers institute of acting. According to Malavika, dance is her first love. She likes to continue her acting career and education. She is now an English literature student(BA) at IGNOU.

Even though, the duration of his character in Oru Indian Pranayakasha was small, the movie  brought him recognition and an offer to act as the hero of malayalam TV soap opera, Ponnambili.  He has also appeared in Flowers TV show, Comedy Super Nite and Art cafe on Kairali TV for the promotion of his movie Kattumakkan

Super Star Junior Season 5 on Amrita TV launches on 11 March 2016

Amrita TV is going to launch Super Star Junior, the season 5 of the malayalam music reality Show . This path breaking music reality show is for children with age between 8 to 14 years. The audition for super star junior season 5 were completed and the participants were selected based on their performance in audition rounds. Eminent music composers and singers were part of the judging panel.

Super Star Junior on Amrita TV will be launched on 11 March 2016, Friday at 8:PM. This one hour music program will be aired every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 -9:00 PM on Amrita TV.

The permanent judges of  Amrita TV Super Star Junior 2016 are musicians  Sujatha Mohan, Vijaya Yesudas and Stephen Devassy. Nearly 20 contestants were selected for this show.
