Manjurukum Kalam the family drama written by Joycee and directed by Binu Vellathooval. This serial tells the story of Jaani , adopted daughter of Ratnamma and Vijayaraghavan. She was born to Ashwathy and Govindankutty. Following the death of her mother, she was brought to the loving home of Vijayan. But Janikkutty’s new found love and happiness vanishes when her step mother Ratnamma gets blessed with a baby, then she gets drenched in suffering and hardships. Actor Manu Nair gives life to the character Vijayan and Lavanay Nair plays the role of step mother, Rathnamma.

Three child artists are giving life to the character Janikutty in various stages of her childhood. Baby Kezia played the role of Janikutty's life as 3 years old. It was followed by Niranjana as 5 -year old. Baby Greeshama portray the life of Jani in the next stage of the character as a mature school girl. The story of the tele serial is about how Janikutty survive the hardships in her life and become a strong person.

My Marumakan Serial on Surya TV from 28th September 2015

My Marumakan is the brand new serial on Malayalam channel Surya TV. The new serial will be launched on September 28, 2015 at  8.30 PM.  The viewers can watch the new tele opera every Monday to Friday at 8.30 PM

The serial features Dr Shaju Sham, Swasika, Sini Varghese, Rekha Ratheesh etc in the lead roles. Unlike other stories, the rivalry between the mother in law and son in law as narrated in this teledrama.

Singer Najim Arshad married Thazni on 13 September 2015. The wedding/ nikah was held in Punalur, Kollam District followed by a reception in Thriuvananthapuram for close family and friends. A grand wedding reception will be arranged on 17 September 2015 in Kochi for friends and stars from movie industry.

Najim Arshad's bride, Thazni Thaha is a dentist by profession. Their wedding engagement function was held on 16 April 2014. They were waiting for Thazni to complete her BDS course in Bangalore. Najim Arshad said in an interview that it is purely an arranged marriage, even though both families came to know each other through a common friend.


Najim Arshad  is now established as a playback singer with more than 70 songs and many awards to his credit. He came to lime light after becoming the  winner of the most popular reality show Idea Star Singer 2007 on Asianet.

D2 winners -Pranav Sasidharan wins D2 (D4Dance Season 2) on Mazhavil Manorama

Who will win the title of D2-D4 Dance Season2 on Mazhavil Manorama?  Gum on D2, the season 2  the popular dance reality show D4 Dance on Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama has reached its end with its grand finale and the winners will be declared on 13 September 2015.  Only Five contestants among top 6 Contestants - Pranav Pradeep,Pranav Sasidharan,Saniya Iyappan,Arjun Krishna Nair,Fida Ashraf and Suhaid N P- will compete in the grand finale. The shooting of the grand finale is over in August itself, but the telecast will be on 13 September 2015.  The details of the winners of D2 will be updated following the telecast of grand finale.

D2-the season 2 of D4 Dance, directed by Yamuna Yami was  launched on December 5, 2015. The contestants were grouped into two as Neeravs Angels (girls team) and  Master Blasters (boys team). Govind Padamasurya (GP) and Pearle Maaney are the hosts of the show D2 while Actress Priyamani, Neerav Bevlacha and Prasanna master are the permanent judges .  This most popular dance really show on Mazhavil Manorama D2 Sponsored by Gum On and powered by Kalyan Silks. Actress Archana Kavi (Archana Jose Kavi)is all set marry her childhood buddy and famous stand up comedian Abish Mathew. The wedding news is revealed through times of India. According to Archana  'it's neither an arranged nor a love marriage'. Both of their families were known to each other and they were friends since childhood. The alliance was initiated by both families. She reportedly said 'we both freaked out at first, but in about eight to nine months, we came to terms with the fact that we like each other and can get married. However, we still don't feel like there is a marriage happening soon' . Archana and Abish will enter the wedlock by January 2016. The marriage betrothal will be in December 2015. The date and venue are not yet out.
