Actress Saranya Mohan married Aravind Krishnan | Wedding Photos

Actress and dancer Saranya Mohan tied knot with Aravind Krishnan at 10:30 AM on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at  Kottamkulangara Temple, Alappuzha. It is an arranged marriage and the couple got engaged July 12th,2015. The traditional marriage ceremony was attended by close family relatives, friends followed by a grand wedding reception attended by film stars including  KPAC Lalitha, Namitha Pramod, Rejith Menon, Mrudula Murali, Sarayu, Shilpa Bala etc. Saranya's wedding was noted for its simplicity as she opted to marry in her native Kottamkulangara Temple, Alappuzha instead of luxurious auditoriums with lots of gilts and glamour.

The groom Aravind Krishnan is a dentist by profession. He runs a dental clinic in Kovalam and is working as an assistant professor at the Sree Sankara Dental College in Varkala,Thiruvananthapuram. He is the son of Prof. Krishnan Nair and Prof. Anitha Nair.

Saranya is the eldest daughter of Mohan and Kalamandalam Devi from Alappuzha, Kerala. Her parents are trained classical dancers and runs their own Y.K.B Dance Academy in Alappuzha. Saranya is also a singer and trained dancer in Bharathanatyam.

Actress Saranya is most likely to quit her acting career following her marriage as she likes to focus on family and dance even though her her husband and family are supportive of  Saranya's acting  career

Actress Saranya has appeared in more than 30 films including those made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi Languages. She debuted into movies as a child artist in Fazil's superhit movie Aniyathipravu. This is followed by movies in Tamil and other languages both as heroine and in supporting roles. She is  best known for her performances in Chemistry, Velayudham, Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu. Saranya was the heroine of all the versions of the hit movie Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu remade into Telugu and Hindi languages.
