Actress Meghna Vincent quits Chandanamazha serial on Asianet

Popular Malayalam actress Meghna Vincent -heroine of Chandanamzha- has decided to quit the very popular Chandana Mazha  serial currently aired on Malayalam Channel Asianet. She also quits the Tamil version of the serial  Daivam thanta Veedu serial on Star Vijay. She better known as Amrita in Chandanamazha to malyalai audience and as Seetha in Daivan thanta Veedu to Tamil Audience.  Who will be the new Amrita, we will update soon.

Chandanamazha is a remake of Star Plus hindi Serial 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' has completed 980 Episodes. It is one of the longest and successful serial on Indian Television. Ever since, Meghna decided to quits the serial, false news is spreading in the social media that she was eliminated from the serial for reasons known to the team. But she clarifies that she quits the serial herself to concentrate on her marriage . It was impossible for the Chandanamazha serial team to grant her more than 30 days leave. So decided to quit. She will be taking a break of nearly 3 months to focus on most important event on her life- her marriage.

Meghna is going o Marry Don Tony, brother of actress Dimple Rose. We have earlier posted details of her engagement and betrothal ceremony details Her marriage with Don Tomy will be held on April 30, 2017.

Winners of Miss Queen of India 2017 | Akanksha Mishra won the title

Miss Queen of India 2017 winners : Akanksha Mishra  from Uttarpradesh won the title of Manappuram Miss Queen of India 2017. Reshma RK Nambiar from Kerala won the first runners up title. Varna Sampath from Bengaluru is the Second runners up. They were selected from 16 contestants. The contest was conducted in three rounds: Designer saree, Black cocktail, and Red gown.Previous year winner Ms. Ankita Kharat crowned the overwhelmed Miss Queen of India 2017 winner.

In addition to the title winners, there were four regional title winners and 12 subtitle winners. They are the subtitles to win are Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Congeniality, Miss Personality, Miss Cat Walk, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Talent, Miss Viewer’s choice, Miss Social Media and Miss Photogenic. Actress Megna Vincent and Actress Dimple Rose got engaged in a joint event on 23 April 2017. Chandanmazha fame Meghna is goint o Marry Don tomy, brother of actress Dimple Rose. Dimple is going to marry Anson Francis. The joint betrothal reception function was arranged at Puzhayoram International Convention Centre in Thrissur.

Neermathalam -New Malayalam Serial on Asianet from May 1, 2017

Neermathalam Serial-Cast, Crew, Telecast date, time, actors, actresses, wiki etc: Neermathalam is a new Malayalam horror Serial on Malayalam entertainment Channel Asianet.  The promos of the serial is out announcing the launch of the new family drama. Neermathalam serial will be aired every Mon-Friday at 6:30 PM. Mouna Ragam is a new Tamil Television Serial on Star Vijay (Vijay TV). The new musical family drama will be launched on 24th April 2017 at 7:30 PM. The new tele-series will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM

Mouna Ragam is the remake of Telugu serial 'Koyilamma (also referred as Koilamma)' on Maa TV. The story is about the girl Sakthi and her music Journey . The malayalam version of this serial is aired as Vanambadi on Malayalam entertainment Channel Asianet. The musical score of Mounaragam is done by music director M Jayachandran. He is also the music director Vanambadi serial.

Story/Theme: Mouna Ragam tells the story of the journey of a seven year old singing prodigy Sakthi. She lives with her mom under the care of her uncle and aunt. Little Sakthi has faced many questions on her father and she came to her father, an established singer Karthik Krishna, left her mother. She inherited the music talent from her father. She can sing any tune, learn any music and find rhythm from any noise. After the death of her mother, Sakthi decides to fulfill her mother's dream. Will she succeed?

Actor Munshi Venu passed away

Actor Munshi Venu (63) passed away at a at a palliative care centre at Chalakudy, Thrissur, following kidney failure on Thursday, April 13, 2017.  He was suffering from kidney-related ailment and were undergoing treatment. He hails from Thiruvananthapuram and was unmarried and was living alone in a lodge in Chalakudy for the past 10 years.

Actor Munshi Venu (Venu Narayanan) is known for his role in Asianet’s social satire television show ‘Munshi’ as a panchayath member. The show fetched his roels in television serials and movies. Following the success of Munshi, he debuted as malayalm move actor in director Kamal's movie Pachakuthiara starring Dileep  in lead role.

Surabhi Lakshmi wins Best Actress Award at the 64th National Film Awards 2016

Surabhi Lakshmi winner of  Best Actress Award at the 64th National Film Awards 2016: Surabhi Lakshmi bagged the Best Actress award for her film ‘Minnaminungu’ at the 64th National Film Awards 2016. The awards were decided by a Jury with popular director Priyadarshan as the jury chairman.She was the winner of special award for best actress in 47th Kerala State Film Awards  for 2017 for the same movie.

Even though she lost the best actress award at the State Film Awards to Rajisha Vijayan, she made it at the National Level. She has won Film Critics Award for Second Best Actress in this year. Surabhi Lekshmi is the daughter of Andy and Radha from Calicut. She is married to Vipin Sudhakar (Photos).

Surabhi Lekshmi  hails from Kozhikodu is a trained dancer and theatre artist.  She is very popular as the character Pathumma, wife of Moosa,  in Media One serial M80 Moosa. Her unique sound and dialogue delivery in Caliccut accent were noted by the audience soon. She won best Comedy Actor award for  her role in M80 Moosa at the Flowers TV comedy Awards 2016. She has acted in more than 20 Malayalam Films, advertisements and Malyalam Serials. She portrayed a main character in   K.K. Rajeev's malayalam serial Kathayile Rajakumari.  Surabh is now part of  surya Tv Television show Laughing Villa season 1 & 2 and  Media One comedy show M80 Mooosa.
