Winners of first Asianet comedy Awards 2015 were announced on 13 November 2015 in a glittering star studded event at Adlux International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Karukutty, Angamaly, Kochi, India.  In the award function, actor Jagathy Sreekumar received life achievement award while actor Jaganrdhanan got life time glory award.  Actor Jayaram was awarded best actor while actress Anushree  got bagged best actress award. The complere list of winners of Asianet comedy Awards 2015 is provided below.

This is the first time any television channel is giving awards to artist for their contribution in comedy. Asianet Comedy Awards 2015 was held in a similar format to  Asianet Television Awards 2015 and Asianet Film Awards 2015. For this award given to movies released and television comedy programs aired from October 2014 to September 2015.  The awards for television shows were given in many categories include best skit, actor, actress, writter etc

De Chef Cooking reality Show on Mazhavil Manorama starts on 27th November 2015

De Chef - new cooking reality show on Mazhavil Manorama is coming soon. The malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama has announced the launching of  brand new cooking reality show and claims it as  one of the largest cooking reality show on South Indian Television Channels. Applications were invited early October 2015 and the Audition for the cooking reality show were held in various centers across Kerala. Both male and female contestants with age above 18 years contested for the participation in this show. Out of more than 5000 applicants only 20 were selected to participate in DE CHEF that start its telecast on 27th November 2015. The title winner will get 50 lakhs Rupees grand Prize. A total of 1 Crore Rupees will be distributed among winners in various categories.

De Chef, the new cooking reality show will be aired during 8:00 to 9:00 PM from Friday, November 27, 2015 with 20 contestants and 3 Judges. The details of Judges, the host/anchor of the show is not yet available. We will soon provide more updates.

Story of Manjurukum Kalam (Novel) Serial -Full Details: Malayalam TV channel Mazhavil Manorama has launched a new mega serial 'Manjurukum Kalam'. on 16 February 2015. This is the serial version of popular novel "Manjurukum Kaalam" by Joycee published on Malayala Manorama weekly.

Manjurukum kaalam is an unique family drama directed Binu Vellathooval with script and dialogues written by from renowned scriptwriter and novelist Joycee, who also wrote for the successful serial ''Amala''. Manjurukum kaalam takes the viewers through the life of an adopted girl child, Janikutty. The story revolves around her struggles of being an innocent adopted kid. Manjurukum Kalam Novel Story: Janikkutty gets adopted by Ratnamma and Vijayaraghavan after the death of her mother and gets pampered by her step parents. Janikkutty’s new found love and happiness in their step parents vanishes when her step mother Ratnamma gets blessed with her own kids ( Surya and Appunni), she gets drenched in suffering and hardships. Even when she lived like a servant in her step parents home, she studied well and succeed with top grades. In the meantime she falls in love with her school mate Sarita's brother Abhijith. His father comes and asks for a marriage alliance. But Ratnamma insults him and he leaves ans she stopped Janikutty from continuing her studies.

Manjurukum Kalam Novel Story

 After 19 yrs, Govindan kutty, her biological father returns to take away his daughter. Jani now reaches a new place, where her father introduces her to his family. Govindankutty is living with his second wife Vijayamma, kids (Ajayana, Arunima and Ambili). His wife's sister(Chadramathi) and family are also living with them. Jani informs him of her affair with Abijith and wants him to meet Abhijith. Govindan kutty on returning from Abhijiths house informs her that Abijith is now in Dubai and his marriage is fixed. Jani breaks down hearing the news. Jani continue to support her father his family. Govindan kutty lost his money and chitty business as he was trapped in some fraud by Vijyamma's sister and her family. Govindan kutty dies due to heart attack. Vijayammas sisters husband (Surendran) then attacks Jani with the help of his fraud friends as she supports Vijayammas family. Jani gets admitted in a hospital. She stays there alone as Govindan kutty's wife is unable to come and meet her and Surendran, the policeman stops her and kids. From the hospital Jani meets her mother Aswathy's s old friend who introduces her to her grand father, Balakrishnapanikker. Her grand father then takes her to Jani's maternal home. She is not welcomed by Aswathy's siters and brothers. However, Jani continues her studies with the help of her grandfather and he builds a new house for her. This make Murali furious. Unfortunately,  her grand father falls sick and is bed ridden and Jani is asked to leave the house by her uncle. Her mothers cousin, Madhusoodana Panikker, a politician,  takes her to his home and she continues to live with Madhu' and his mother . She successfully completed her post-graduation. She aspires to  appear to civil service examination and to become an IAS officer. In the mean time, Madhu was planing to contest in an election, however he couldn't due to some fraud of her mothers brother Murali. Jani then contest for election when her uncle is unable to contest. She wins the election, becomes a MLA and a minister. This new power help Janaki to fix all the problems in his father second family.

On the other hand Ratnamma gets affected by cancer and Soorya mol will commit suicide and Appunni goes to Jail. In the mean time Jankai comes to know that Abhijith is in Chennai and goes to meet him. They lost here business and are now in a poor condition. Jani helps them financially. She meet her step parents and take them with her.  She resigns from her minister ship  and decides to concentrate on civil service exam. Madhu now become minister. She clears Civil service Exam and in the end leaves for training along with Abhijith.

Thus it an inspiring story that tells us that an individual can succeed despite all the unfavorable circumstances in one's life. Watch the serial to get excited.

Flowers International Malayalam Channel launched on 1 November 2015

 New Malayalam Channel Flowers International will start its broad casting on 1 November 2015 at UAE time 6:am. The new channel is aiming viewers at the gulf countries, Europe and Africa. This is the second  Malayalam satellite channel from the house of Insight Media City (India) Pvt Ltd. India's first media city.

Their new channel  Flowers TV was launched in April 2015. This new channel is lead by noted media person R. Sreekandan Nair. It is now a popular channel with third position in BARC ratings.

Asianet comedy awards 2015 is coming soon. Malayalam Channel Asianet has  announced the first ever awards night and show exclusively for comedy artists and programs. The promos of this award is out.  The new award will include both television and film industries.

In their earlier television awards nights including Asianet Television Awards 2015 and Asianet Film Awards 2015,  Asianet has given awards to actors for  their best performance in comic and humorous roles.  In recent Kerala State Film Awards 2015, the category for best comedy actor was removed.  It is not clear whether the new Asianet comedy award show is only for programs telecasted in Asianet channel. However, the new awards  will be a great encouragement for many artists working in entertainment industry, mostly in comedy roles.

The title winners of Maanada Mayila Season 10  will be announced in a colorful grand finale event, The grand finale of Season 10 of Manaada Mayilaada will be held on October 24, 2015 at Powerade Centre, Brampton, Toronto, Canada.

Kuttikkalavara -New Reality show for Kids on Flowers TV from October 19, 2015

Kuttikkalavara is a new Reality show for Kids on Flowers TV. The new show will be launched on 19 October , Monday at 8:30 PM.  The kids show will be aired on every Monday to Thursday at 8:30 PM.  Actress Muthumani is the anchor this novel show.

Auditions for Mazhavil Manorama cooking reality show will start on 14 October 2015.  The Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama claims that this will be one of the largest cooking reality show on south Indian television channels. Saharsh Augustin-Child Actor | Manikuttan in Manjurukum Kalam Serial

Saharsh (Master Saharsh R Augustin) is an upcoming child actor in Malayalam Television Serials. He is now acting as Manikuttan in popular Malayalam Tele Series Manjurukum Kalam on Mazhavil Manorama Channel.

Manjurukum Kalam is based on a novel by famous writer Joycee. The family drama Manjurukum Kalam, is directed by Binu Vellathooval under the banner Rohini Visions. It is one of the most rated malayalam TV serial today.

Manjurukum Kalam tells the story of Jaani , adopted daughter of Ratnamma and Vijayaraghavan. The story revolves around her struggles of being an innocent adopted kid. Even though she was brought to a loving home,  Janikkutty’s new found love and happiness vanishes when her step mother Ratnamma gets blessed with her own baby. Actor Manu Nair gives life to the character Vijayan and Lavanay Nair plays the role of step mother, Rathnamma. Differnt stages of Janikutty's life is portrayed by three child actress. Baby Kezia played the role of Janikutty's life as 3-5 years old. It was followed by Niranjana as 7 -year old. Saharsh plays the role of Manikuttan, Janikutty's school mate and close friend. He lives near to Janikutty'home and become her only company & solace in her life. Their innocence and friendship was one of the highlights of the serial.  Saharsh played the role of Manikuttan with conviction. Audience were in tears during many episodes of the serial with Manikuttan and also when he disappeared from Janikutty's life forever.

Saharsh  is the eldest son  of  Augustin Varghese (serial artist and dubbing artist) and Renjini ( Govt employee) from Kollam, Kerala. Saharsh is a school student and has an younger brother,Sathvik and younger sister, Sharon.

My Marumakan Serial on Surya TV from 28th September 2015

My Marumakan is the brand new serial on Malayalam channel Surya TV. The new serial will be launched on September 28, 2015 at  8.30 PM.  The viewers can watch the new tele opera every Monday to Friday at 8.30 PM

The serial features Dr Shaju Sham, Swasika, Sini Varghese, Rekha Ratheesh etc in the lead roles. Unlike other stories, the rivalry between the mother in law and son in law as narrated in this teledrama.

Rekha Ratheesh plays the role of mother in law in this family drama. It will be a strong character following the success of her role as Padmavathi Amma in Parasparam Serial. This is the second serial for Dathuputhri actress Swasika Vijay.
