Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama has announced the launch of the second season of their popular couple show Made for Each other Season 2 or Made for each other 2. Made for Each Other is a travel/game/reality show aired on Mazhavil Manorama.

Super Voice Grand Finale on Asianet Plus on 10th November 2017

The grand finale of  super voice  , Malayalam music reality show on Asianet Plus, will be on November 10th, 2017,  Friday at Abudhabi armed forced officers club.at 6:30 PM.  Asianet Super Voice, the musical reality show is directed by  Zergo Vijayaraj. The winners of 3rd Asianet comedy Awards 2017 were distributed  in a star studded & colorful ceremony on 26th October 2017 at Adlux Convention Center, Ankamali.  This is the third edition of  the comedy awards by Asianet to honour and encourage the comedy artists and programs on malayalam television and film industry. The  award show will be aired on Asianet on  November 11 &12,  2017 at 7:00 PM

The winners of Kerala State Television Awards 2017 in various categories have been announced by Kerala Chalachitra Academy on October 21, 2017. The awards were given every year on feature, n-n-feature and article category. The awards were selected from the entries submitted for the award by jury in each catergoy. The winners of 3rd Asianet comedy Awards 2017 will be declared in a colorful ceremony on 26th October 2017 at Adlux Convention Center, Ankamali.  This is the third edition of  the comedy awards by Asianet to honour and encourage the comedy artists and programs on malayalam television and film industry. The award will be given to both television and film artists. The winners list, telecast date and time will be updated soon.

The winners of 47th Kerala State Film Awards 2016 were honored, and the  trophies and citations  were distributed at a grand ceremony at Thalassery Municipality Stadium on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan distributed the awards to the  talented artistes and technicians of the Malayalam entertainment industry for their contribution to cinema in 2016. The award ceremony also witnessed performances by actors Sobhana, Rima Kallingal, Vineeth, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Roma, Vineeth Kumar, Ramesh Pisharody, singers M Jayachandran, Sithara, Rajalakshmy and Mrudula, among others.

The prestigious JC Daniel award was awarded this year to filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, given his comprehensive contributions to the entertainment industry. Manhole, directed by Vidhu Vincent won the awards for best film and best director award. Vinayakan won Best Actor for his performance in Rajiv Ravi's Kammattipadam. The best actress Award was bagged by Rajeesh Vijayan for her performance in Anuraga Karikkin vellam.
