This tele dram is written by Pradeep Panicker and directed by Praveen Kadakkavoor under banner Bros Creations.  The new malayalam serial; Karuthamuthu  was launched on 20th October 2014 at 10 PM. Amma,  Sthreedhanam,  Parasparam and Chandanamazha are the other family dramas currently airing on Asianet.

As the  epic serial Mahabharatham, ended on  16 October 2014 , there is a change in the telecast time of the serials.  Karutha Muthu take the time slot of  Kailasanathan telecasted every Monday to Saturday at 10 PM.  Karutha Muthu will also be telecasted on Asianet Middle East at 630 PM.

Actress Sreeja Chandran married actor Senthil Kumar

Malayalam and Tamil Actress Sreeja Chandran married actor Sentil Kumar on 2 July 2014 in Thirupathi Temple. They were acting together for more than four years in STAR Vijay's sensational serial Saravannan Meenatchi. Finally they decided make the reel life to real life through a private ceremony in  Tirupathi attended only by relatives and close friends.

Sreeja Chandran started her career as malayalam actress. Her first movie as child artist was Kathapurushan by Adoor Gopalakrishnan . Later she acted in movies Krishna Gopala Krishna, Pularvettam, Bargavacharitham moonam Kantham, Sahotharana Sahathevan, Pakal etc.
