Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018 -Winners List

The winner of Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018 was honored and awards were  distributed in a colorful event on 31st March 2018. Take off is the best film , Indrans won awards for best actor and Manju Warrier as best actress. Flowers TV  Channael telecasted their 2018 edition of Flowers Indian Film Awards show on April 7th and April 8th 2018 at 7 PM.

The awards were selected by a jury including eminent personalities from Indian Film Industry.   Midhun Ramesh and Aswathy Sreekanth hosted the show. Many celebrities including Mohanlal, Hariharan, Andrea, Jackie Shroff, Manju Warrier, Shanti krishna, Tonvino Thomas, Neduimudi Venu, Jayaram, Sreekumaran Thampi etc. were actively present during the colorful award ceremony.

 Indrans won best actor award for Alorukkam .He was also the  winner of Best actor award in Kerala State Film Awards 2017.  Manju Warrier won the best actress award for Aami and Udaharanam Sujatha. Shantikrishan and Alancier got best co actor awards. Nedumudi Venu was honored with the life time achievement award. The list of winners of Flowers Indian Film awards are given below.

Made for Each Other 2 Grand Finale Winners List | Winners of Made for Each Other Season2 :Mazhavil Manorama | Made for Each other Season 2 or Made for each other 2 - popular couple show on Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama is approaching its end. The reality show  Made For Each Other Season 2 was launched on 4th December 2017. The channel aired this program every Monday to Wednesday at 9.00 P.M. The grand finale will be aired on May 7th & 8th, 2018 at 9:00 PM

The show started with 10 newly wedded couple as participants and Poornima Indrajith  is the anchor of the show.  The second season of  Made for each other began with 10 newly-wedded couples who were grouped into two teams - Love marriage and Arranged marriage. The newly-married couples from diverse backgrounds competing with each other in various challenge and fun tasks to become the grand winner.

The Season 2 of Made for each other was launched in Lakshadweep. Then the venue of the show changed from Rajasthan, Karnataka and finally ended in Munnar.  Interesting part of the show is the fun filled moments, adventurous tasks and the love and chemistry between the couples

Keerthana Podhuval -Actress | Mojitha in Bharya Serial on Asianet

Keerthana Podhuval (Keerthana Podwal or also known as Geerthana) is the new actress in Bharaya serial on Asianet playing the character in CI Mojitha's. She has replaced Aishwary Mithun Koroth in this role. Aishwary left the serial due to family reasons. She is expecting a baby and is going to take a break from entertainment industry.


Keerthana Podhuval-Biography :
Keerthana Podwal  a model and actress known for her work in Kannada and Telugu Movies. She has also acted in Tamil Television Serials. Keerthana made her acting debut in the Kannada film "Anju Manju Love Story" along with Dilip Pai, directed by AT Raveesh. Following this she has appeared in some well known films such as  Anju Manju Love Story, Madhura Swapna and Rudra IPS etc . She also acted with popular actors like Pradeep Benetto Ryan, Avinash, Raja and Naveen. Keerthana was noted for roles in films like "Siliconn City" along with Srinagar Kitty, Sadhu Kokila and Kavya Shetty. Keerthana currently doing the supporting role in Ganga serial along with Aravind in Sun TV. The dubbed version of this serial is also telecasted on Malayalam channel Surya TV . Keerthana Podhuval  was born on 6th November. She hails from Kanoor in Kerala and currently settled in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Actor Deepan Murali married Maya | Wedding Photos

Malayalam Television actor and anchor Deepan Murali married his lover Maya in a traditional wedding ceremony held at Vaikundam Wedding Hall in  Thiruvananthapuram on 27th April 2018. The wedding reception will be held on 28th April 2018 at DR Auditorium in Edapazhinji, Thiruvananthapuram.

Deepan Murali was engaged to Maya in June 2017, but he recently only shared the news in his facebook page  with tag "Love 💖 locked "!! We are engaged" . The love cum arrange marriage was scheduled to be held in December 2017 but was postponed due to unexpected death of his mother. The engagement ceremoney though was a simple function , it was attended by his collegues ARya rohit and Archange Sudheelan.

Maya is a bank employee, is the first cousin of actor Suraj Venjaramood's wife. Deepan and Maya have been  known to each other for years as we they were colleagues. Eventually they fell in love and decided to get married with the blessings of family from both sides.

26th Kerala State Television Awards 2017- Winners List | Nilavum Nakshatrangalum best serial

The winners of the 26th Kerala State Television Awards 2017 were announced by Minister for Cultural Affairs A K Balan  at PR Chamber on 24th April 2018.  The award were decided by Kerala Chalachitra Academy by a Jury in feature and non-feature category. For the year 2017, Rakhunath Paleri, K Kunjikrishnan and A Chandrasekhar were the chairperson of the jury in on feature, non feature and article category, respectively.

Nilavum Nakshatrangalum aired on Amrita TV directed by G R Krishnan has bagged the Kerala State Television Award 2017 for the best tele-serial.  Madhupal won the award for best director for his serial  Kali Gandaki. Best actor were bagged by Krishnan Blalakrishnan for Kaali Gandaki . For  her role in the serial Neermathalam, actress Amala Gireeshan won the best actress award. Manjal Prasadam on Flowers TV won the second best serial award. Best second actress and actor for Gouri Krishnan and Vijay Menon, respectively for Nilavum Nakshatrangalum.

The  best music director for Kallara Gopan, best cameraman for Noushad Shereif, best scriptwriter for GR Indugopan, best art director for Ajith Krishna, best dubbing artiste (male) for S Radhakrishnan,  best dubbing artiste (female) for Parvathy S Pakash were the other winners. Amma Mazhavillu Mega Show -AMMA show 2018 | Venue, Date, Pass, Telecast details

Amma Mazhavillu - the mega show that feature all the actors who are members of the association of Malayalam Movie Artists(AMMA) will take place at the Greenfield Internationals Stadium in Kazhakoottam , Thriuvanantahpuram Kerala on 6th May 2018. The show will be later telecasted on Mazhavil Manaorama Channel. More than 100 artists who are members of AMMA will participate in teh show that will take part in 5-hour mega show.

Mazhavil Azhakil Amma was the show previous mega show in 2013 to raise funding for AMMA artists. This successful show as a visual treat for malayali audience and it was aired on Mazhavil Manorama channel on 27th and 28th April 2013.

The logo of Amma Mazhavillu show sponsored by Malabar gold and diamonds was unvailed on 16th Arpil 2018 by Actor Innocent, the current current president of Amma. Actors Mammotty, Mohanlal, Siddique and Mazavil MAnorama Chield of Programs Jude attipeety were present at the event.   Popular actor Innocent is the president of Amma fro the last many years and Vice-Presidents are Ganesh & Mohanlal. Mammootty is the General Secretary and Edavela Babu is Secretary of Amma Association of 460+ member association.  Presently 105 members of AMMA are receiving this Kaineettam - a monthly stipend of Rs.5000 is given to select few members of Amma, who have retired or is suffering-on a regular basis. The show is raise to funding for these activities.

41st Film Critics Award 2018 in Malayalam Announced: Winners List

The winners of 41st Film Critics Award 2018 in Malayalam were announced.The Kerala Film Critics Association Awards are presented annually by the Kerala Film Critics Association to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Malayalam language film industry of India

The films are selected by the members of the association for the movies released in 2017. The winner of the association awards for the best film will receive a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh, and the second best film, best director, best actor and best actress will be presented Rs. 25,000 each

Thondimuthalum Dridasakshiyum by Dileesh Pothern won best film award. Fahad fazil won Best  Actor for this movie and Sajeev Pazhoor won the award for the Best Screenplay. Best actress award was bagged by Manju Warrier for her performance in Udaharanam Sujatha. Jayaraj won the award for the best director.  Music Director M. Pooja Sharma already established herself model and actor. Pooja was born on 12 July 1989 in Delhi, India. She did her graduation (B.Com.) from University of Delhi, New Delhi. She was always interested in acting and performing arts more than modeling. During her college days, she was selected for a sports-based talk show in Doordarshan India. So,after completing her studies, she started working as a model and walked the ramp during various events. She also hosted some famous shows that aired on DD National and on Zoom. In 2006, Pooja sharma participated in the Femina Miss India 2006 and was among the top 10 finalists.

Enga Veetu Mapillai - the Tamil language matchmaking reality television show has come to an end with its grand climax. Enga Veetu Mapillai - the reality show launched on 20 February 2018 was an attempt to find a bride for actor Arya. The show is aired as Aryakku Parinayam on Malayalam Channel Flowers TV . Enga Veetu Mapillai began with 16 female contestants. After many rounds of show and eliminations, Five finalists were selected Swetha, Abarnathi, Seethalalshmi, Susana, and Agatha. After the final elimination round only three girls remain in the grand finale Seethalalshmi, Susana and Agatha.

Seethalakshmi(25 y) is a banking professional from Kerala. Agatha(26y) from Kerala is a video editor. Susana(33y) is a radition therapist from Cananda. She is divorced and have son from her first marriage.

The verdict -  Winner of Enga Veetu Mapillai Grand Finale  ? - NO ONE

The show ended. Arya said he needs more time to select his bride.  He didn't select any one from the final three girls. But all the three finalist agreed with his opinion. He said, if he select one he will humiliate the other two girls and their families in front of public . So he don't want to hurt anyone now. He said this stage will not be a correct place to declare the winner.

This came as a surprise to many and it appears like the show is scripted to gain attention to the new Tamil channel Colors Tamil.  The winner of the show is colors Tamil channel :-).  Will Arya be able to decide soon? Will he marry anyone from the final three? Only time can tell. Till then wait and see.

As of now, Arya will not marry any finalists of this show. The show goes off-camera until a decision is reached.

65th National Film Awards 2018 : winners list

The winners of 65th National Film Awards were announced on Friday, 13 April by a 10-member jury headed by renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.inod Khanna was posthumously given the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema, late actress Sridevi won the Best Actress award for her performance in MOM. Actor Riddhi Sen won the Best Actor award for Bengali film Nagarkirtan.

Village Rockstars (Assamese) won Best Feature film award while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had turned out to be the biggest hit at the domestic box-office, won the award for Best Popular Film .Bhayanakam directed by Jayaraj (Malayalam) won the award for best director. the film is in  the 'navarasa' seriesbased on  "Kayar" written by the late writer Thakazhi Sivasankarapillai.

Amit Masurkar’s Newton, which was sent as India’s official entry to the Oscars, was named the Best Hindi film. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum by Dileesh Pothen won the award for best Malayalam film . Fahad fazil won Best Supporting Actor for this movie and Sajeev Pazhoor won the award for the Best Screenplay. Actress Parvathy received special mention for her performance in Take off. ake Off also won the award for the Best Production Design. Indian Film Awards 2018 will be distributed in a colorful event on 31st March 2018. Flowers TV is all set to host their second Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018. They have also hosted and announced their first Flowers Television Awards in 2016.

Rebecca Santhosh-Actress in Serials and Films| Kavya in Kasthooriman serial

Rebecca Santhosh is an upcoming Indian actress working mostly in Malayalam Films and Television serials. She currently playing the role of Kavya, heroine of Kasthooriman serial being aired on Malayalam Channel Asianet.

Career

Rebecca started her career as a child model for a jewelry advertisement while studying in fourth standard. She debuted as a film actress when she was in 10th standard through ‘Thiruvambadi Thamban (2012) directed by M. Padmakumar with actor Jayaram in lead role. In this movie she played the daughter of Jayaram’s brother. Her performance as film actress was noted though  the ‘Minnaminungu The Fire Fly (2017) directed by Anil Thomas and written by Manoj Ramsingh . In Minna miungu Rebecca played a character Charu, the daughter of a widow characterized by national award winner Surabhi Lakshmi. Rebecca was also the the heroine of the campus entertainer ‘Snehakoodu’.

Rebecca debuted as a Television actress through ‘Kunjikoonan’ serial., which aired on Asianet in 2011 in which she appeared as the character Asin. It was the serial Mizhi randilum directed by Manju Dharman, which aired in Surya TV that introduced she became heroine in the small screen. She  played Anagha, a possessive, short-tempered and bold girl. Popular actor Boban Alumoodan , Divya Viswanath were also part of this serial. The role helped her to  bag a character in  Neermathalam serial directed by S Janardhanan. In this TV serial she played the lead character Gauri , a ghost.

Actress Rebecca Santhosh as Kavya in Kasthooriman serial on Asianet.  Kasthooriman is written by N Vinu Narayanan and Directed by Sunil Karyattukara. The role of bold character Kavya gives her immense opportunity to perform on mini-screen.  The serial tells the life of Sethulekshmi and her daughters . The role of Sethulakshmi, a self- trained artist in the field of classical dance is played by  Paraveena. The role of  her three young daughters, Kavya, Keerthy and Kalyani are portrayed by Rebecca Santhosh, Della and Keerthy. Kavya is an an advocate, she is bold enough to take care of her family including her two younger sisters and mother though they are financially down. Actor Sreeram Ramachandran playes the role of as Jeeva in Kasthooriman seiral


Personal life
Rebecca Santhosh (19 yrs)  hails from Thrissur, Kerala. Her father Santhosh is a businessman and mother a housewife. After completing her  her schooling at Chaldean Syrian Higher Secondary School (CSHSS) Thrissur, Kerala, she is pursuing Bachelor of Management Studies at Saint Theresa’s College in Ernakulam. Like her grand father who was a theatre artiste, Rebecca would like to be part of theatre productions as acting live on stage helps an actor.  In fact, Rebecca started acting   in a drama while she was in fifth standard, which paved way for her acting.  She like to become a cinematographer after completing her graduation. She was active during the school youth festivals and participated in orchestra, kathaprasangam, music and all sorts of cultural events. She is very passionate about acting, also love trekking and riding bikes.

Malayalam Television Actor Harun dies in an accident

Malayalam Actor Harun passed away following an accident. He is known to malayalam television viewers as 'Appunni' in Popular serial Manjurukum Kalam telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama.

Harun was an engineering student, in real life. who had immense passion towards acting. The 19-year-old young actor slipped in his washroom and suffered a severe head injury which led to his untimely death.

The sudden death of the upcoming actor came as a shock to everyone including members of Television industry. The sudden demise was shared by actor Manoj Kumar (Aka Manu Nair) in his facebook page(see below). Manoj Kumar played the role of the character Appunni's father, Vijayaraghavan in that serial.

Manjurukum Kaalam is a malayalam television serial telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama TV since 16 February 2015. The soap opera is written by Joycy and directed by Binu Vellathooval. The serial had many new actors. Monisha , Anish Rehman, Manu Nair ,Lavanya Nair, Manju Satheesh,Kishore Roslin etc. Harun played the teenage version of the character Appunni.
