CERA VANITHA FILM AWARDS 2019: Winners List :
The winners of Vanitha Film Awards 2019  were declared. The popular Cera Vanitha Film Awards powered by Josco Jewellers was announced  in  March 2018. The award event was held on March3, 2019 Britsto ground in Fort Kochi Kerala , Kerala

This is the 15th edition of Vanitha Film Awards.  Vanitha Film Awards are given in 25 categories including Life achievement award.  The movies released from january 1, 2018 to December 31  were considered for the award. The awards in various categories including , Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Actress  etc were decided based on the polls conducted by Vanitha and Malayalam Manorama . The winners in each category of awards were chosen by more than one lakh readers who filled in the nominations published in Malayala Manorama and Vanitha and voted through Manorama Online, Vanitha Online and special booths.

The award ceremony was attended by film personalities in India. Celebrities from Malayalam , Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and other south Indian languages will participate in the event. To add color and entertainment to the show there will be many dance, comdey and music performances by cine artists. Actress Asha Sharath and Rima Kallingal, Shruti Haasan, Kareena Kapoor, Aditi Rao, HAnsika Modwani and Sunny Leon gave dance performance to entertain the audience through their magical dance performances. In addition to this there will be song performance by Sudeep Kumar, Vijay Yesudas, Sana Moythutti & Govind Vasantha etc.

Lijo Jose Pellisseri's 'Ea. Ma. Yau.' won the award for the Best Movie. He also won best actor award. Odiyan won many awards. Mohanlal received best actor award for Odiyan while Manju warrier bagged best actress award. Balachandra Menon was honored with  life time achievement award

Mithun Ramesh in Badai Bungalow Season 2 replacing Ramesh Pisharady

The popular malayalam sketch comedy and celebrity talk show Badai Bungalow is going to launch their season 2 of the series.  This show comes with many surprises.  The first episode of Badai Bungalow season 2  will be aired on March 3rd, Sunday at 9:00 PM. This episode feature Kumbalangi nights stars Soubin Sahir and Shane Nigam as celebrities.

To the surprise of everyone, Mithun Ramesh , very popular now as the anchor of Comedy Ulsavam on Flowers TV , will replace Ramesh Pisharody. He will be the new tenant of Badai Bungalow.  The role of wife will be played by his wife Lekshmi Menon, a known Vlogger.

Mithun Ramesh will co host the  show with actor Mukesh. Mithun Ramesh is known for comedy ulsavam in flowers TV He has already established as dubbing artist, radio jockey and actor. Mithun is also associated with 96.7 FM as radio Jockey. He holds a Guinness book record for the longest Talkathon in history with Sindhu for continuously talking without taking a break in 2013 for 84 hours in air. He has also worked as dubbing artist for many male actors like Unni Mukundan in Mallu Singh, Jishnu Raghavan in Nammal, Richard, Rajiv Pillai and Tom George in Akalae to name a few.

 Mithun Ramesh is known to flowers TV audience ad was the host of Flowers TV Smart Show 60. He is also a Malayalam film actor, television actor and Radio Jockey. He debuted as an actor through the film is Life is Beautiful. Winners list of Kerala State Film Awards for 2018 films |Kerala State Film Awards announced in 2019 |49th Kerala State Film Awards 2018 : Winners of 49th Kerala State Film Awards 2018 will be announced on February  278th, 2019 by  Minister of state for cinema AK Balan at a press conference in Trivandrum. The  awards were selected based on a list of 20 Malayalam films selected by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy to the finale. The 10 member jury will declared the awards in various categories from 104 movies submitted for the award. Kerala State Film Award is to honour great artists and movies of the state

Jury : The winners were selected by 10-member jury headed by  headed by screenwriter-director Kumar Shahani. The other members of the jury were Sherry Govindan, George Joseph, K G Jayan, Mohandas, Vijayakrishnan, Biju Sukumaran, Berny-Ignatius and Navya Nair among others.

Best Film & Best Director: Kanthan – The Lover of Colour, directed by Shareef Easa, bagged the top honour of the Best Film award, while filmmaker Shyamaprasad took home Best Director award for his film Oru Njayarazhch . Movies Sudani from Nigeria and Carbon won many awards

 Best actor and actress :Actor Jayasurya, won the Best Actor award for his riveting performance for both Njan Marykutty and Captain. Winners of Miss South India 2019 | Nikita Thomas Won the title

Manappuram Miss South India 2019 Winners List :Ms.  Nikita Thomas   from  Kerala won the title of Winners of Miss South India 2019. Ms. Tarini Kalingarayar from Tamil Nadu and Ms. Deepa Thomas
from Kerala were the first and second runner up respectively.In addition to the title winners, there were four regional title winners and 12 subtitle winners.

Previous year winner Ms. Lekshmi Menon crowned the overwhelmed Miss South India 2019
winnerThey were selected from 24 finalists  from 5 south Indian states. Miss South India 2019 is the seventeenth edition presented by Manappuram Finance Ltd, an event organised by Dr.Ajit Ravi, at Hotel Le-Meridien Coimbatore. Manappuram Finance Limited is the prime partner of the event hosted by Pegasus in association with Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity.

The title winner won One lakh rupees, the second runner up with 40,000 rupees while first runner up were awarded 60,000 indian rupees.  The cash prizes were gifted by Manappuram Finance Limited. The winners were crowned with the golden crown designed by Parakkat Jewellers.

The star-studded event  was attended by celebrities from bollywood and south Indian film industry. In the glitzy event and the award show,  Ranveer Singh, Dhanush Vijay Sethupathi , Ayushmann Khurrana along with malayalam actors, actresses including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas and technicians bagged awards.The best of malayalam cinema was also be honored at the function.  There was lot of music, dance and comedy show to entertain the huge audience.
