The popular reality show Mazhavil Manorama has reached its finals? Mazhavil Manorama Television Channel launched the show D4Dance'( D for Dance) on  April 11 , 2014 for young dancers in the age group 10-35 years.

Five contestants were selected for the finale of the show. Susmitha from Thrissure, one of the semi finalists were eliminated from the show.

Popular Malayalam Serial Sarayu on Surya TV reached its climax. The Final episode of Sarayu Serial will be telecasted on 17 November 2014 at 700 PM.  That will be 391st Episode of Sarayu Serial.  It is one of the popular serial on  Surya TV.

The Story, Characters and actors of the Sarayu Serial of the serial is already posted here. The first episode of the serial was telecasted on 13-May 2013.  The serial is produced by Baiju Devaraj and  directed by GR Krishnan. The title role of Saryu is portrayed by Seena Antony.

Actress Padmapriya Married Jasmine Shah-Photos

South Indian actress Padmapriya married her long time friend Jasmine Shah on 12 November 2014 at Arya Samaj in Mumbai. The marriage was a strict family affair attended only by close family and friends.

Jasmine Shaw is originally from Gujarat. Jasmine grew up in the town of Silvasa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nager Haveli where he completed his high school. He completed B.Tech and M.Tech in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras. He is also a graduate from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Jasmine is currently working in New Delhi as the Associate Director of Policy at Jameel Poverty Action Lab, South Asia with its head quarters in  Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Jasmine was the campaign Coordinator of the Janaagraha and Tata Tea initiative known for his ‘Jaago Re’ One Billion Vote Campaign.

Padmapriya and Jasmine met in Newyork while both of them were  pursuing their higher studies at Columbia and Newyork Universities. She took a break from movies to complete Masters from Newyork University. She was doing a research on the Economic Affairs of Public Sectors associated with her study at the Newyork university and they came to know each other during that period and fell in love.

Padmapriya holds MBA in finance at Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies in Harihar, PG Diploma in Environmental Law from National Law School of India University and Masters in Public Administration from New York University.

Padmapriya is the daughter of Janakiraman, a brigadier in the Indian Army, and Vijaya. She was born in Delhi and brought up in Punjab and other cities in India. She is a trained classical dancer and won Miss Andra pradesh title in 2001.

Padmapriya made her debut in Malayalam with Kaazhcha directed by Blessy. She has done more than 48 films across all Southern languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada) and also in Hindi and Bengali. She got most of her notable roles in Malayalam movies.

She is a National Award special jury award winner, two time Kerala state award winner, Tamilnadu state award winner. She has also won Filmfare awards (3 times) and many other awards for movies . Her most recent movie is Iyobinte Pustakam by Amal Neerad.

The engagement of of Sharanya Sasi to Binu Xavier  was in April 2014 . Binu is a senior production associate of UTV in Cochin.

 Actress Saranya is a cancer survivor. The brain tumor was detected in August 2012  while she was acting for the Mazhavil Manorama Serial Malakhamar. She has undergone multiple surgeries in 2012 and with courage faced the followup treatment for Brain Tumor.  Now she is back to her acting career.

Jewel Mary, the popular host of Idea D4 Dance, the dance reality show on Mazhavil Manorama has temporarily left the show to shoot for her debut malayalam film.


Jewel is going to be the heroine of new malayalam Movie 'Pathemari'. Salim Ahmad,the National Film Award winner, is the director of the movie. The hero of the movie is Actor Mamootty. Shooting of the film is in progress.


According to the channel source, Jewel  will join back the D4 Dance Crew for the finale. Jewel and Govind Padmasurya were the anchors of the dance reality show.

Pearle is known to the audience as the host of Malayalam programs including Amrita TV's Taste of Kerala. She has also acted in Malayalam Movies like Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, The Last Supper Etc. She is also a singer.

Premi as Malayalam TV Serial Actress

Premi debuted into the Malayalam Television field as the heroine of the new Malayalam serial  Karutha Muthu on Asianet. The central Character of the serial Karthika, faces issues in her life due to her dark skin color. Ever since the serial was launched everyone was asking about the actress. The tele serial  Karutha Muthu was launched  on October 20, 2014 and is getting good ratings. The other actors of this serial include Sharanya Sasi, Kishore Sathya, Sreelatha Namboothiri etc.

Karuthamuthu is a tele serial by Praveen Kadakkavoor, the director of super hit serial Kumkumapoovu aired on Asianet. The director and team were searching for an actress to play the role of Karthu. Premi, then an employee of a private company in Cochin, she came to know about the new serial and audition details from Actor Dinesh Panicker.  Following which she attended auditions in Thiruvananthapuram and successfully completed a camera test to became the character Karthu of Karutha muthu serial.

Personal Life, Family Details

Premi is originally from Cochin, Ernakulam, Kerala. She is the daughter of Viswanathan and Kanchana.  Her elder brother Sivaprasad is  a photographer and  owns two studios in Cochin. Premi is also very much interested in photography like her brother even though she an advocate by profession. Malayalam Actor Jayasurya is her first cousin. She is a model and has appeared in many ads.  She was working in a private company before taking up the role of Karthu in Karuthamuthu Serial. Premi likes to continue in acting world given good roles and opportunities.  Also, she is much excited that her role in Karuthamuthu is well accepted by Malayali audience

Actress Sharanya Sasi married Binu Xavier- Wedding Photos

Malayalam Television and Film Actress Sharanya Sasi married Binu Xavier in a simple function on 26 October 2014 (26.10.2014) at Sree Narayana Seva Sabha Temple in Kochi. The marriage ceremony was attended by close friends and relatives.

Actor Anoop Menon to Marry Shema Alexander

Malayalam Actor , script writter  and lyricist Anoop Menon is going to Marry Shema Alexander on 27 December 2014.  Both of them were friends for the last five years

Anoop is the son of o P. Gangadharan Nair and Indira of Balussery Parambathu Veedu in Kozhikode. Shema is the daughter of Prince Alexander and late Lilly Alexander of Prince Park in  Thottumukkathu,  Pathanapuram in Kollam District. Shema dont have any film background.


Anoop and Shema are going to get married with the blessings of both the families. The marriage will be conducted in a simple ceremony on 27 December 2014.

Shema is from a bussiness family. This is Shema's second marriage. Her first husband Renny Abraham, of Aban Group, passed away ~10 years back due to heart attack. They have an adopted kid who is 16 yrs by now.

The 38 year -old actor entered the tinsel town when he was 26 years old through the movie Kattu chembakam. He has acted in many malayalam TV serials and in more than 50 films. He has written scripts for many movies including Pakal nakshathrangal, Beautiful etc .

His upcoming movies are She Taxi with Kavya Madhavan, Pavada with Shobhana & Prithviraj and Dolphins starring Suresh Gopi.

In an interview given recently, Anoop Menon has revealed that his fiancee has no connection with movie industry and they plan to get married within one year.
