Actress Urvashi's Second Marriage with Sivaprasad | Marriage News

Famous malayalam Actress Urvashi married Shivan (Sivaprasad) in a private ceremony n Chennai followed by registered marriage in November 2013. She confirmed the news on second marriage in an interview to a malayalam magazine. The bridegroom Sivan is leading a construction company in Chennai. Shivan is originally from Punaloor, Kollam.

 It is an arranged marriage with the blessings of both of their families. Shivan is a close of friend of Urvashi's brother Kamal (late). After the marriage, both of them are living in Chennai.

Urvashi added that Shivan came to her life as a friend in 2009. They took 4 years to know each other and now they have entered into married life.

It is the first marriage of Shivan and second marriage of Urvashi. Urvashi married Actor Manoj K Jayan on 11 October 2000. It was a love marriage. However, they got  divorced in late 2008. They have a daughter Tejalakshmi. She is now living with Manoj K Jayan. Later Manoj K. Jayan married Asha and they have son named Amrit.

Urvashi is an established actress in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu movies. She won Kerala State award for best actress five  times and National Award for best supporting actress one time.

Update on August 2014

Urvashi and Shivaprasad are blessed with a baby boy. As per reports both mother and baby are doing fine. This is Urvashi's second child. She has a daughter with her first husband Manoj K Jayan, named as Thejalekshmi (Kunjatta). The news on pregnancy were confirmed by her in April 2014.

Mazhavil Manorama Television channel has started a new comedy based program 'Ividingananu Bhai' on saturday at 800 PM.  This is a novel humour based program that involve guest of the show into the main theme of the episode.

Sallapam - Memoirs by Manju Warrier | Second Edition released

Sallapam is the first book of Manju Warrier.  The second edition of the memoir of famous actress Manju warrier is released by DC books. Its first edition was completely sold out.

This book has 13 chapters. In this book Manju warrier narrates the coincidences that have been happening in her life for some time. 'Sallapam' is the compilation of the autobiographical articles published with a name Oru Poo Viriyum Pole in Grihalekshmi Magazine by Mathrubhumi.

N Jayachandran helped Manju Warrier to write this book. The preface by famous dubbing artist Bhagyalekshmi making this book more attractive.

The official launching of the  book was Oct 4, 2013 at a function organised as as part of the 18th International Book Festival in Thiruvananthapuram. Bhagyalekshmi, members of Tranancore royal family and other celebrities from film world attended that function.

On her talk during the book release function Manju Warrier said, “I am not a writer. I am not even confident about my vocal abilities. However, with the right guidance I could write this book,”.

In this book she narratesd her experience during her journey as a girl from a small village 'Pullu' in Thrissur district in Kerala to celebrity till today. The memoirs includes recollection of events in school youth festival,during her entry into the film world and her life so far as celebrity, in a honest and simple way.

Sophia M Joe is the winner of Amrita TV Super Model Fashion Reality Show

Sophia M Joe  is the winner the Super Model Reality Show on Amrita Television.  Gayathri and Chitra won the second and third prize in the grand finale of Amrita TV's super model show.


Super model, a fashion reality and talent hunt show on Amrita TV was first of its kind in Malayalam  Television.  Through audition in Cochin and Kollam  last year 14 contestants in the age group 18 -26 yrs were selected. Out of which only six contestant were selected for the grand finale. The grand finale of the super model show was held on February 28, 2014 at 700 PM on Amrita TV.The shooting of the show was mainly done at Quilon Beach Hotel, Kollam

The anchor of the show was Parvathy Nair. She is an established actress and model.

Madhushree Narayanan is the Winner of Super Star Junior 4 on Amrita TV

The grand finale of  Super Star Junior 4 on Amrita TV held on 2 February 2014 at Nilambur. This is the season 4 of Amrita TV's musical reality show for kids in the age group 10-15 yrs .

 Bharath, Bhagyalakshmi, Madhushree and Varsha were the finalists of the super star junior 4. Music director Deepak Dev, Singers Swetha Mohan and Sayanora were the judges of the grand finale of this music show. The grand finale was held in front of a huge audience in Nilambur, Malappuram.

Bhavya was the anchor of Super Star Junior 4.


MadhuShree Narayan is declared the winner of the Super Star Junior 4 following a tough competition.
