Ponnukku Thanga Manasu is the remake of Malayalam Television serial on Asianet. Sthredhanam. Sthreedhanam was one of the longest running and successful television serial on Asianet. The story is about social issue every knows about- dowry. The promos shows a clear indication of this aspect.  When daughter in law enters grooms home after marriage, suddenly the mother-in-law stops the newlywed and calculate the amount of jewelley on daughter-in-law.

Story/Theme:
The theme of Ponnukku Thanga Manasu  revolves around the life of Sethulekshmi , her sons, daughter and daughter in laws. The story of the serial is centered around Divya . She is married to Prasanthan, Sethulekshmi's elder son . As she is not from a wealthy family, Sethu Lekshmi tries to create problems in the life of Divya and Prasanthan and ask for more dowry. In the mean time, Sethulekshmi's sons Prasanthan marry Veni and Prasad merries Pooja.   Prashanthan’s cousin, Mayuri also forward to spoil Prasanthan's life.  What happens next ? Who is Surbhi Jyoti ?|  Surbhi Jyoti-Biography
Surbhi Jyoti is a TV actress and model from Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Jyoti completed her education from Shiv Jyoti Public School and Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. She has received a Master of Arts degree in English from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. Jyoti started her career with regional theatre & films and as a radio jockey. Later she acted in Punjabi films Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya and Munde Patiala De as well as the Punjabi television series Akiyaan To Door Jayen Na and Kach Diyan Wanga before trying her luck in Bollywood. Story Line of Bhagya jathakam - Bhagya jathakam narrates the story of Indulekha (or Indu), a  22 year girl born into an affluent Shenoy family but abandoned by the family at birth. She was raised in a poor household and she lives with the money she gets by selling milk.  But fate had another plans of her.  The marriage of Arun the only son of Mr Shenoy, was cancelled due to horoscope issues. According to astologoer his first wife may die within six months into the marriage. So they decided to find a poor girl after temporarily holding the marriage with Abhirami, daughter of Shenoy, who was in love with Arun. 

This is how Indu was selected. She get married to Arun without knowing the truth that she is the heir to all property of Shenoy family and started living there with her own mother. Time passed by and nothing happened to Indulekha even after 6 months.  The astrologer also realized that Indulekha’s horoscope is a lucky one and the  prediction went wrong due to incorrect birth time. This came as a shock to Mr Shenoy and everyone . They all wanted to get rid of Indulekha at any cost and her life again takes another turn. What happens next ?

Winners of second  Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2018 were distributed in a colorful event held at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly on 7 August 2018. The show will be telecasted on Saturday August 17th, 2018 and Sunday, August 18th, 2018 at 7:00 PM

Mazhavil Mango Music Awards given by Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama and FM channel Radio Mango was introduced in 2017. This  music awards  aim to find the best music talents in the movie industry. The competition is for movies released during July 2017 and July 2018.

Nandana Anand -Actress in Malayalam Serial Bharamanam as Neetha

Nanadana Anand is an Indian actress active in Malayalam Television serials. Nandana played the character of Neetha in popular Malayalam Serial Manjurukum Kalam on Mazhavil Manorama in Episodes 1-116. She was away for a while, but re-joined the show later.
