Mazhavil Manorama GEC launched a new family serial, Makkal, on 25th June 2018. The serial is aired every Monday to Friday at 7:30 Pm. This new series replaced Athamasakhi serial. Makkal Serial tells a socially relevant subject with Dinesh Panicker and Fathima Babu as the lead actors. Makkal serial directed by Faisal Adimaly with a script by Kunjunni is produced by Monichan of Royal entertainment
Story line of Makkal serial : The serial is about a family, member sof Kalathil Tharavadu , the parents and their children.Madhavan and Saraswathi have three Children -Ajith, Sunanda and Gopakumar. They have an adopted son Mahesh. Both Madhavan and Saraswathi consider him as their own son. Sarawathi has an elder brother, prasannakumar, lives in Mumbai. He is married to mythili, a high society lady actually it's his second marriage. His wife died long before. He was against second marriage. But relatives compelled him to re marry to take care his daughter Devika. The story reveals the twists and turns in family life and its effect on their relationships
