Mazhavil Music Awards 2019 Winners List | Telecast Details

Winners of second  Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2019 were distributed in a colorful event held at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly on 15 August 2018. The show will be live telecasted on August 15th, 2019 at 1:00 PM .

The show was graced by veteran singers P Susheela Amma, P Jayachandran, Bollywood singer Shaan, Mollywood composers Shareth, Alphonse, director Sibi Malayil, song writers Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma, Ajeesh Dasan, singers Vijay Yesudas, Shweta Mohan, Najeem Arshad, Kavya Ajith, Sreya, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, Job Kurian, Siddarth Menon, Ziya Ul Haq, Siju Kumar, Prasida, Sabarish, Francis, actors Manoj K Jayan, Anu Sitara and Miya and other celebrities. The show will be telecasted again on August 24 and 25 at 7:00 PM

Mazhavil Mango Music Awards given by Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama and FM channel Radio Mango was introduced in 2017. This  music awards  aim to find the best music talents in the movie industry. This is the third season of the music awards in 2019. Last two seasons were labelled as Mazhavil Mango music awards due to the co-sponsor ship of Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama and FM channel Radio Mango. The show will have many music, dance and skit performances.

The selection of awards is based on online voting and SMS. Movies released between July 2018 and July 2019 are only considered for this award .

Start Music –Aaradhyam Paadum- New music Show on Asianet from 10th August 2019

Asianet is to launch the Malayalam version of the popular music game show ‘Start Music’ which is now a mass trend in South Indian television.  Asianet will start the telecast of ‘Start Music – Aaradhyam Padum’ on August 10. It will be telecast every Saturdays & Sundays at 9.30 PM.

This music and game show ‘Start Music –Aaradhyam Padum’ will see film/television stars and celebrities participating in various funny and exciting segments. Serial stars of Vanambadi serial will participate in the first episodes. The show which features non-singers is expected to be an exciting game show for music lovers. This is not about how you sing, but about who will sing first. Apart from the fun games, there will also be a special treasure hunt for the winners of each round.

Arya, malyalam actress , will host the show. She is known to malyalam audience through her performance in Badai Bungalow show. She recently joined in Badai Bungalow 2' . This is her debut as host of a game show.  In interview given to a National daily she commented that  "I am so excited to host the show. I can't wait to have some real fun with the contestants. 66th National Film Awards 2019 : winners list |Hellaro Best Film

The 66th National Film awards were announced on 9th Friday 2019, by Rahul Rawail, head of the Jury for feature films. Hellaro a Gujarati film directed by Abhishek Shah won the best film award. Aditya Dhar won best director for Uri : The Surgical Strike. The winners were selected from 419 films competed for the awards this year. The national film awards are given in 31 categories.

Ayushmann Khuranna for Andhadhun and Vicky Kaushal for Uri : The Surgical Strike shared the award for best actor. Keerthy Suresh got best actress award for her performance in  Mahanati

Malayalam Movie winners : Sudani from Nigeria is the best film in Malayalam .Joju George for Joseph, Savithri for Sudani From Nigeria received special mention for the acting. Best Cinematography award was won by Olu (Malayalam) to MJ Radhakrishnan(late). Kammara Sambhavam (Malayalam) won the award for best production design.
