Aadhi is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, is an action move with Pranav Mohanlal in lead. Aditi Ravi, Anusree, Jagapati Babu, Siddique, Lena, Sharafudheen, Siju Wilson are in supporting start cast of this film. Aadhi was released in India on 26 January 2018 and met with widely positive critical response with box office collection exceeding 35 crores.

Udaharanam Sujata is directed by directed by debutant Phantom Praveen and produced by Martin Prakkat and Joju George. It is a remake of the 2016 Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata. Manju Warrier plays Sujatha, a woman living in a colony doing odd jobs. Anaswara Rajan, Nedumudi Venu, Mamta Mohandas and Joju George co-star in other significant roles. Filming began on 4 May 2017, shoot underwent in Thiruvananthapuram. Madhu Neelakandan handles cinematography. Gopi Sunder is the music director. The movie was a hit at the box office collecting up to 10 crores.

 Aadu 2 is written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Vijay Babu under Friday Film House. It is the sequel to the 2015 film Aadu, and Jayasurya, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Saiju Kurup, Vineeth Mohan, Harikrishnan, Bhagath Manuel, Vijay Babu and Vinayakan reprise their roles. The first version Aadu was not a box office hit but started getting positive reviews after the release of DVD. But its second part Aadu 2 was a box office hit by collecting more than 20 crores . The film released in India on 22 December 2017

Mersal –is a Tamil movie starring Vijay presently & is scheduled on Easter 2018 day. Mersal is directed by Atlee and co-written by Atlee, K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and S. Ramana Girivasan (dialogues). The film stars Vijay in triple roles with Samantha, Nithya Menen, and Kajal Aggarwal. The background score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman, while the cinematography was done by G. K. Winners list of Kerala State Film Awards for 2017 films |Kerala State Film Awards announced in 2018 |48th Kerala State Film Awards 2017 : Winners of 48th Kerala State Film Awards 2017 will be announced on March 8th, 2018 by  Minister of state for cinema AK Balan at a press conferencein Trivandrum. The  awards were selected based on a list of 68 Malayalam films selected by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. The 10 member jury will declared the awards in various categories from 110 movies submitted for the award. Kerala State Film Award is to honour great artists and movies of the state

Jury : The winners were selected by 10-member jury headed by  director T.V. Chandran. The other jury members are directors Dr. Biju, Manoj Kana, sound engineer Vivek Anand, Cameraman Santhosh Thundiyil, Music Director Jerry Amaldev, Script writter Cheriyan Kalpakavadi, writter M Rajeev Kumar and actress Jalaja. Mahesh Panchu,is the member secretary. He is currently the Film Academy secretary.

Best Film: Ottamuri Velicham directed by Raul Riji Nair won the award for the best film.The film stars Vinitha Koshy, Dipak Parambol and Devaki Rajendran. Lijo Jose Pallisery walked away with the award for Best Director for his film E Ma You.

 Best actor and actress :Actor Indrans bagged the top honour for his role of a distraught father searching for his missing son in the movie Aalorukkam. Parvathy, who played the lead role in the critically-acclaimed as well as commercially successful film Take Off, won the Best Actor (Female) award.

Dont confuse with the famous Neelakuyil movie-a 1954 Malayalam film jointly directed by P. Oscars Awards 2018 : Winners List |90th Academy Awards

Oscars Awards 2018  |90th Academy Awards winners were announced and honored on 4th Match 2018 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

The awards for best film was bagged by "The Shape of Water" directed by Guillermo del Toro.  He also won the best director award at the 90th academy awards.

The film "The Shape of Water," which had 13 nominations at the  90th Academy Awards but , won big with four awards, including best picture and best director. Guillermo del Toro said in his best director acceptance speech, "I think the greatest thing the industry does is erase the line in the sand. We should continue doing that, when the world tells us to make it deeper."

Gary Oldman won best actor award for  "Darkest Hour" while Frances McDormand bagged best actress award for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri". The complete list of winners of Oscar awards 2018 are given below.
