Bigg Boss Kannada 2 (BBK2) is the second season of the Kannada reality television series Bigg Boss Kannada.  This show in Kannada Language was launched on 29 June 2014. There were 16 contestants, out of which only four remained in the finals. The contestants lived in the Bigg Boss house for 99 days completely isolated from the rest of the world.

The first season of the Kannada language version was aired in Indian Television channel ETV Kannada.  Asianet Suvarna channel acquired the broadcast rights for the second season of Bigg Boss Kannada.

Actress Rekha Ratheesh started her career as a TV artist when she was only 16 year though  the serial Nirakootukal directed by Sreevalsan. Later she acted in the serial Manasu directed by A.M. Naseer as Subhadra.  It was followed by many serials mostly in supporting roles. She took break from the industry for while. She also participated in Kairali TV Nakshathradeepangal. Recently, she got a break through Malayalam Television serial 'Parasparam'. In this Asianet serial she portray the character Padmavathi, mother of Sooraj and Suresh. Her performance in the serial made her very popular among malayali audiences.

Personal Life

Rekha is the daughter of dubbing artist Ratheesh, originally from Thiruvananthapuram and Artist Radha Devi from Thodupuzha. Both of her parent passed away. In an interview given to a popular malayalam daily she revealed that she married four times. She was married to Yousaf in an young age (18 yrs). Following divorce she married Actor Nirmal Prakash (after this marriage Rekha was known Rekha Nirmal, Nirmal, died in 2010) and later married Kamal Roy. After the break up she married Abhilash. She has a son with Abhilash.   She is now living with her son,named Ayaan in Thiruvananthapuram.

Resmi Menon is the Winner of Kitchen Magic Season 3 Grand Finale on Kairali TV

The grand Finale of the Malayalam Cookery Reality Show on Kairali TV came to an end with  Grand Finale On  02 October 2014 (02/09/2014) Thursday at 06:00 PM (IST) .  The grand finale was glittering function filled with dance, music and mimicry performances in addition to the cooking performance by the finalists . In the grand finale of the show, Veena was the anchor. Dr . Lekshmi Nair and Actor Krishna announced the names of the winners.

Aswamedham 2014 Season By GS Pradeep on Kairali TV to begin on 6 October 2014

Aswamedham, the reverse quiz show on Kairali will be launched on October 6, 2014. The new season is produced by Santhosh Pali. Grand Master G.S. Pradeep is presenting this show. Kairali started the game show Ashwamedham in 2002, it completed 500 episodes in the 1st season and entered Limca Book of Records.

The  auditions of Ashwamedham 2014  was held at various centers in Kerala.

The new season of the  show will have three stages - Yaagam, Yajnam and Rajasooyam.

Unlike earlier seasons the contestants can pick places, personalities, or events for the competition. The number of questions asked by the grand master will also be fewer than earlier seasons. In the earlier seasons nearly 20 questions were asked to find the answer.

Ente Manasaputhri is the television adaptation of the story 'Punarjanmam' by K.K. Sudhakaran published in manorama weekly. The story revolves round the two orphans -Sofia and Gloria-with very difference nature and temperaments. Sofia (played by Sreekala) is very calm and simple whereas Gloria (played by Archana)is ambitious and extrovert. The serial was very popular among audience that time .
