Actress Meera Jasmine married Anil John Titus | Wedding and Reception Photos

National award winning Actress Meera Jasmine married Anil John Titus on Wednesday 12 February 2014 at at the LMS Church in Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. The close relatives lead the function.

The wedding was followed by a reception at Edapazhanji RD Auditorium. Celebrities including Kavya Madhavan, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Mallika Sukumaran were present during the wedding function.

The marriage was registered earlier on 9 Feb 2014. Police protection were arranged for the marriage following a complaint from Anil John. Following the marriage, Meera said to press and media that her first preference will be family but wont give up film world if she get good offers. Actress Meera Jasmine registered her marriage 

Famous Actress Meera and her fiancee Anil registered their marriage as per the special marriage act on 9- February 2014. The registration formalities were held at her house in Kadavanthra, Ernakulam as per special marriage act. Only close relatives were present during the function. .

 Anil John Titus is working as a software engineer at Dubai. He is the son of Titus – Sugathakumari couple, residents of Nandavanam, Trivandrum .  Meera Jasmine is the daughter of Joseph and Aleyamma. If reports are to be believed the marriage proposal came through an internet  matrimonial site  and both families agreed to proceed   into the relationship.

Meera Jasmine's fiancee seeks police protection for marriage

In a recent development Meera Jasmine's fiancee Anil filed a police complaint requesting for protection against a Bangalore based women, claiming to be his Ex-wife, and her father. Court assured that there will be police protection during their marriage.

According to recent reports by the media, Anil married a Bangalore based hindu women, who was his friend, at Thirupati Temple. But the marriage of a hindu with a christian in a temple is not legally valid according to bangalore family court as it should be based on special marriage act. This clarification was provide by the court on the divorce petition on his first marriage. Anil pointed out that a family court in Bangalore had dismissed a petition filed by the woman for divorce on the ground that their marriage was a nullity.

He said that the woman reached Meera’s house on January 23 and informed her about his earlier marriage and threatened that she would not permit the marriage. Anil John filed the plea as he feels that his first wife and his relatives might disrupt the wedding function with Meera.

Fahadh Fassil - Nazriya Nazim Engagement News and Photos

Actor Fahad Fazil and Actress Nazriya Nazim got engaged officially in a function held at Taj Residency at Thiruvananthapuram on February 8, 2014.

Their close relatives and friends attended the function. Following the engagement Fahad and Nazriya meet the media at 3.00 pm on the same day.

The marriage function will be in August of this year at Al Saj Convention Centre in Thiruvananthapuram followed by a star studded reception.

Actress Ann Augustine married cinematographer Jomon T John on February 2, 2014

Actress Ann Augustine, daughter of late malayalam actor Augustine married cinematographer Jomon T John at St. Sebastian's Church, marutharvattom, Cherthala in Alappuzha on Sunday, February 2, 2014. A colorful wedding reception was arranged at Travancore Palace following the marriage ceremony.

The wedding ceremony and marriage reception functions were star studded events with many celebrities attending both the functions. Chandanamazha is a new malayalam serial on Asianet which started telecasting on 3 February 2014. This new serial will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 930 PM. This will take the time slot of the most popular serial on Asianet Kumkumapoovu, which ended on February 1, 2014.

Chandanamazha is a remake of Star Plus hindi Serial 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' (meaning :Fulfil This Companionship). The hindi television drama series was launched on 3 May 2010 worldwide on STAR Plus. Its Telugu dubbing version is available in Maa TV with a name Kodala Kodala Koduku Pellamaa. Its Tamil version is Deivam Thantha Veedu in Vijay Tv

The original hindi version is written by Ved Raj,Gautam Hegde and Jyoti Tandon and directed by Pawan Kumar.

Story :
Chandanamazha is the story of two cousins Amrita and Varsha, who are completely opposite from each other. Amrita is an orphan who leaves with her uncle and cousin Varsha. She is very innocent and is illiterate. On the other hand, Varsha is very wise and greedy like her mother. The story starts with Urmila Desai's search for a perect bride for her son Arjun. Sreya Jayadeep, 7 year old girl from Kozhikkodu is declared the winner of  Surya Singer Reality Show. She got the title trophy and  Prize money of 10 Lakh Rupees. The music reality show was conducted for kids aged between 6 to 13 by Surya TV. There were six contestants in the final round. The grand finale was on 23  January 2014. Surya Singer is a popular television reality show on Surya TV.
