64th Film fare Awards South 2017 -Telecast on Asianet on 6th August 2017 | Winners List

Malayalam Channel Asianet will telecast the 64th Film fare Awards South 2017 on August 6th, 05:30 pm Onwards. The awards show and star studded mega Event  were held on  on 17 June 2017 at Novotel and HICC Complex in Hyderabad to  honor the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2016.

The show was hosted by Allu Sirish, Vijay Deverakonda and Ragini Dwivedi. But in Malayalam version going to be shown on Asianet a malayalam anchor will be added for better entertainment. Artists and technicians received awards at the 64th Filmfare Awards 2017 South ceremony in various south Indian languages. The winners of Best Picture are Maheshinte Prathikaaram (Malayalam), Thithi (Kannada), Pelli Choopulu (Telugu) and Joker (Tamil)

Kirik Party (Kannada), Maheshinte Prathikaaram (Malayalam), Irudhi Suttru and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada(Tamil), and Nannaku Prematho (Telugu) won most awards in respective languages.

Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara won best actor and actress awards respectively at the Filmfare awards 2017 for Malayalam Films. The winners list of Film Fare Awards 2017 in Malayalam are given below.

Sakudumbam Shyamala -Flowers TV Serial from August 7, 2017

Malayalam Channel Flowers TV has announced a new malyalam comedy Serial Sakudumbam Shyamala. The first episode of Sakudumbam Shyamala will be aired on August 7, 2017. The new sitcom will be aired every day at 7:00 PM and will be re telcasted at 10:30 PM following its launch on August 7, 2017

The hit screen pair of Aneesh Ravi and Anu Joseph are back on the screen. They are well know through Kairali TV comedy series Karyam Nissaram directed by Unni Cheriyan. The comedy show had actors Aneesh Ravi and Anju Joseph in lead roles as Village Officer Mohanakrishnan and his wife, advocate Sathyabhama respectively had enthralled the mini- screen audience with its comic subject line.

Now it is the turn of Shaymala to entertainment the flowers TV audience. Viewers may confuse the serial with the movie  Sakudumbam Shyamala(2010) directed by Radhakrishnan Mangalath and written by Krishna Poojapura, starring actress Urvashi, Kunjacko Boban and bhama in lead roles.

Raja Venkatesh (Rajaram)-Dancer, actor and TV anchor-Passed away

Raja Venkatesh (53)  known as Rajaram -dancer, television actor, and anchor- died in a private hospital following illness on Sunday (1PM on 30th July 2017). He is survived by wife dancer-actor Thara Kalyan and daughter Soubhagya.

Rajaram was admitted to Amrita hospital following a viral fevel. He himself said about his illness  in his own facebook page. But his lung condition had worsened. Unfortunately he developed another serious condition called septicemia. It was followed  multi-organ failure like kidney and heart failure. Despite maximum effort from the doctors of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), he passed away.

Raje Venkatesh is well known as dancer, choreographer, Tv anchor and Actor. He has acted as hero in more than 23 TV serials. He debuted as actor in Nizhal yudham as hero including Deshaadanapakshi first serial of manorama vision. He  has conducted dance classes in Trivandrun, Kochin and Mumbai and unconditionally supported his wife Thara Kalyan and daughter Soubhgya in their artistic ventures.

Star War - on Surya TV- New Reality Show of mini-screen stars from 23rd July 2017

Star War is a new reality show coming soon on Malayalam entertainment channel Surya Television. The new show is the reality show with mini-screen stars.  The new show will be launched at 23 July 2017 at 9:00 PM

The contestants of Surya TV Star War is popular miniscreen artists. The promos shows Actress Varada, her husband actor Jishin Mohan, Mridula Vijay, Ronson Vincent,  Alina , Pratheeksha,Vivek Gopan, Aneesh Ravi etc are participants of this show -Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Njanum.

The contest between mini-screen artists are not a noval idea on Malyalam Television. The first of its kind was first introduced by Kairali TV as Tharolsavam Season 1-4. The show is also named as Nakshatradeepangal(Tharolsavam season 4). These show mainly tested the artistic merits of mini-screen artist in the form of dance, songs, skits etc.. Later Asianet used the format in the form of the reality show. Later  another show was launched by Asianet as Munch Stars where the team of artists from various serial contest for the title. Don't Do, Don't Do was another reality with Mini screen artists but they incorporated many aports events in the competition.

Gayathri Arun to host 'the people's choice' -New Game Show on Asianet

Gayathri Arun will host the new game show the peoples choice on Asianet. The malayalam entertainment channel Asianet has bagged popular actress Gayathri Arun for this show as promoted through their new show promos in social media and television.

The people's Choice  is a new game show on Asianet. The new TV show will be launched on 10th July 2017 and the first episode will be aired on the same date at 9:30 PM. The peoples choice on Asianet will be aired every Monday to Wednesday at 9:30. The promos shows the new game show in a very unique format. The participants of the show are required to express their view on the various topics like current issues, socio – economic problems, cinema, literature etc. to win the prizes.

Gayathri Arun  is known to malyalam audience as Deepti IPS in super hit serial Parasparam on Asainet.  Parasparam is the  Malayalam Television Serial on Asianet directed by Sudheesh Shankar and produced by Ross Petals. The serial is number one among all the malayalam serials according new TRP ratings by BARC. Paraspram is the remake of popular hindi serial Diya Aur Baati Hum broadcasted on Star Plus.

Gayathri Arun started her career as television actress through Mazhavil Manorama serial Indira. The title role of the serial was initially played by actress Sujitha. Gayathri essayed the role till the climax episode. She had hosted shows on Kairali TV, Jaihind TV and Shalom TV (eg: Kalalayavarnangal and Gandharvasangeetham ) and compered stage shows before taking up the acting career. The Tamil Nadu State government has announced film awards for six years staring from 2009 to 2014. The awards were decided by a Jury lead by former judge A. Raman . The awards are given in various categories including Best Movie, Best Director, Best Scriptwriter, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Villain, Best Comedian, Best Character Artist, Best Comedian, Best Villain, Best Child artist, Best Music director , Best Dialogue Writer etc.. The Tamil Nadu State Films Award were discontinued in 2008. But recent efforts by Actor Vishal, the  chairman of the producers council of the Tamil Cinema recently requested the government to reinstate the awards. Actress Surabhi Lekshmi divorced her husband Vipin Sudhakar

Actress Surabhi lekshmi and her husband had a friendly divorce. Yes, it is confirmed by both Surabhi and Vipin on their facebook page. The divorce was granted by family court. The news is confirmed by Vipin himself. He posted a selfie saying that "Our last selfie. We've got divorced. From now on, we'll be good friends."

Ever since Surabhi Lakshmi  won the national award for best actress,audience noticed the absence of her husband in her interviews. So media guessed something is not going well betweem them.But the divorce news come as a surprise to many. Neither the actress not her ex-husband revealed reasons for divorce.

They were living separate for the last one and half years. She said in her facebook post that ' We have our own reasons for separation  and it is a very personal matter and not interested to share the reasons" . She requests everyone to respect her privacy and to support her during this difficult time.

Actress Surabhi Lekshmi married Vipin Sudhakar on 19 October 2014 (19-10-2014) at Sree Guruvayoorappan Temple in Thrissure in Kerala.  They were granted divorce by Calicut family court on Wednesday 12 July 2017.

Vipin Sudhakar is a cinematographer from Thalikkulam in Thrippayar.

Padmasree Padmavathi - Amrita TV Serial from July 1, 2017

Padmasree Padmavathi  TV Serial will be launched on Malayalam entertainment channel Amrita TV on July 1, 2017. The new comedy serial PadmaSree Padmavathy will be aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM.

The promos show Jayakumar, Praseeda Menon and Kishore in lead roles. The details on director, cast and crew are not available. Detailed star cast of Padmasree Padmavathi will be added later on vinodadardan.com.

Amrita TV is currently performing poorly in TRP ratings as per BARC records. Kaali Gandaki, Nilavum Nakshatrangalum, Oru Cilma Katha, Sathyam Sivam Sundaram are the top serials on Amrita TV.
