Ithal -New Malayalm serial on Amrita TV Launching on March 9, 2015.

Amrita TV, Malayalam TV channel has announced the launch of a new mega serial 'Ithal'. The new serial will be launched on March 9, 2015. The serial will be telecasted every Monday to Thursday 830 -900 PM. Actor Sajan Surya is playing a main character in this serial.

Actress Urvashi to host Jeevitham Sakshi on Kairali TV from 02 March 2015

Famous south Indian Actress Urvashi will host the court reality show Jeevitham Sakshi from March 2, 2015 onwards on Kairali TV.  The show will be aired every Monday to Thursday at 930 PM.

Kairali TV launched  Jeevitham Sakshi with veteran Actress Sheela as the host on August 22, 2014 at 10 pm.  Now it is Urvashi's turn to host the show.

The show is organised by Kerala Legal Services Authority (KELSA) in association with Kairali TV. Look like this one is the Kairali TV version of Amrita TV show Kathayallithu Jeevitham Hosted by Actress Vidhubala.

Popular malayalm actress Sharanya Sasi has decided to quit the very popular Karuthamuthu serial for reasons better known to her. She posted on her facebook page that she is going to quit Karutha Muthu due to the unprofessional attitude of the crew of Karuthamuthu serial team.

Karutha Muthu serial on Asianet malayalam channel is among the five top rated program on malayalam television now. In this serial Sharanya portrays the role of  Kanya, the sister of the character Karthika played by Premi Viswanath, and the sister in law of the hero role of Balachandran by actor Kishore Sathya. The performance of the actors playing the leading roles were the highlight of the serial, especially the negative role of Kanya by Sharanya.

Earlier we have posted that the Asianet serials and shows are available through  Asianet TV official Youtube Channel. Starting from January end 2015, asianet stopped showing full episodes of the TV serials and shows from youtube channel . Malayalam Serial Actor Sharath Kumar dies in a road accident

Malayalam Serial actor Sharath Kumar was killed in a bike accident at Mayilakkadu in Kottiyam of Kollam District. He was riding the bike, lost control near a turning in Mayilakkadu and came under a tipper lorry. He was died on the way to medical college hospital even though the lorry driver rushed him to hospital. The mishap occurred at 7.00am on 26 February 2015, while Sarath was heading to location at Sasthamkott Kollam for shooting.


The 23 year old actor is the son of Sasikumar and Ramani. He has a younger brother Sreekumar. He was a first-year BCom student of the Sabari College, was a budding actor who was noted for his performance various prime-time serials. His body was kept at the Poojappura Serial Artistes Association Hall for the people to pay last respects, was later cremated on his house premises at Parippally.

Sharath, entered into acting through Rajasenan’s Krishnakripasagaram. He became famous through the serial Autograph aired in Asianet. The villian role in  Five Fingers was very strong.  He also acted in Surya TV Serial - Sarayu, Mazhavil Manoram Serial-Pattusari and Asianet serial  Chandana Mazha. He was also part of new prime time Manorama serial Dathuputhri

In Chandanamazha serial he played the role of villian character Adarsh, the brother of Seethal and lover of Anjali. He was also trying his luck in Malayalam Movies.

Director Jude Anthany Joseph married Diyana Ann James| Wedding Photos

Jude Anthany Joseph (born Sijo Joseph), the director of Malayalam hit movie 'Ohm Shanthi Oshaana' (OSO) married Diyana Ann James on 14 February 2015. The christian wedding ceremony took place at 11 am at St. Antony Church, Chengamanad, Ernakulam in Kerala. Their engagement was on February 7, 2015.

Jude Antony Joseph, an engineer by profession dropped his job as software engineer to start a career in film industry. He worked as assistant director of movie- Crazy Gopalan(2008), Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010) and Thattathin Marayathu (2012). He has also directed a short film named "Yellow Pen" (2012). Another short film is named as "Mammookka's Biography" released on February 2014 was an instant hit.  Ohm Shanthi Oshaana starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazin was his directorial debut movie.

He announced his relationship with Diyana on October 25, 2014 giving suspense to the readers. His movie OSO was dedicated his ex-lover. He cleared the doubts by posting the following on facebook page.

Manjurukum Kaalam -New Serial on Mazhavil Manorama launching on 16 February 2015.

Mazhavil Manorama Malayalam TV channel has announced the launch of a new mega serial 'Manjurukum Kalam'. The promo and announcement of the serial is already out.  The serial will be launched on 16 February 2015 . The episodes of the tele drama will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 7.30 PM. Actress Mithra Kurian married William Francis | Wedding Photos

 Actress Mithra (Dalma) Kurian married Musician William Francis on Monday, 26 January 2015. The marriage attended by family, friends and relatives were solemnized at Sacred Hear Latin Church Thrissur at 10:30 AM. It was followed by a grand reception at Le Grande Auditorium, Kuriachira, Thrissur.

During the christian wedding ceremony, Mithra Kurian wore a white wedding gown. During the marriage reception she opt for traditional silk sari and gold ornaments. William Fracsis stick to suit during both the functions.

Actress Mithra Kurian met William Francis on a US trip and eventually their friendship give away to love. The betrothal ceremony was held at Cial convention center Cochin on 18 January 2015.

Mithra Kurian (Dalma Kurian) -daughter of Kurian and Baby and hails from Perumbavoor, Kerala -debuted into the film industry through Fazil movie Vismayathumbathu. She has acted in more than 20  Malayalam and Tamil movies.

William is an established keyboardist and musician . He has done many programmes for the famous music director including Ouseppachan and Gopi Sundar  in Malayalam. William Francis is the native of Thalore, Thrissur. He is the son of Francis and Mercy of Thalore PO in Thrissur.

Dathuputhri -Malyalam Serial on Mazhavil Manorama- Launching on February 2, 2015

Dathuputhri is a new malayalam television serial going to be telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama TV . The promo and announcement of the serial is already out. However, the other details of the soap opera including the telecast time,  cast and crew are not yet available. Stay tuned for more update on the serial from vinodadarshan.

The first episode of Dathuputhri malayalam serial will be aired on 2 February 2015. The malayalam serial-Dathuputhri tells the story of a village girl Kanmani, her life and people around her. The serial is directed by AM Nazeer. His earlier serial was Pattu Sari on Mazhavil Manorama

Director Deepu Karunakaran married Archana Mohan

Malayalam movie Director Deepu Karunakaran married Archana Mohan on 16 January 2015. The traditional wedding ceremony took place at RDR Auditorium Edappazhinji,Thiruvananthapuram.

Deeepu is the son of late Karunakaran Nair and Usha K Nair. He is the brother of Yesteryear Actress Suchithra. Archana is the daughter of V K Mohan and late Shyamalakumari.

The marriage funciotn of Deepu and Archana Mohan were attended by mega star Mammootty, former actresses Karthika, Kavya MAdhavan Chippy Sona Nair,actors Maniyanpillai Raju, Manu Varma, Indrans, Krishnaprasad and many others from big screen and mini screen industry

Deepu is currently shooting the Mamootty Starrer movie ' Fireman'. He has also directed movies Crazy Goplan(2008), Winter (2009) and  Tejabhai and family (2011). Earlier he worked as an assiastant director to Priyadarshan.
