Dathuputhri is a new malayalam television serial going to be telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama TV on 2 February 2015. The soap opera is directed by AM Nazeer. This is his third serial appearing on Mazhavil Manorama after Parinayam and Pattu Sari. This teledrama will occupy the prime time slot of Amala serial which is approaching its climax episode .

The story and theme of Dathuputhri Serial
The malayalam tele drama -Dathuputhri tells the story of a village girl Kanmani, her life and people around her. Her parents adopted her. Kanmani, the lone survivor of a landslide gets adopted by the State government, reaches the family of Nandakishore (District Collector), and Hema, who had lost their daughter. The re-appearance of their lost girl, Meenu makes things take an abrupt turn.
