Malaylam Mazhavil Manorama is going to telecast Cera Vanitha Film Awards 2018 on April 7th, Saturday at 5 PM and April 8th , 2018, Sandya at 4:30 PM.

Winners of Cere Vanitha Film Awards 2018 were declared on February 25th, 2018 at Karyavattom Sports Hub in Greenfild stadium in Trivandrum , Kerala.This is the 15th edition of Vanitha Film Awards. Actress Seema won life achievement Awards during the event. Award for Best Movie was won by Take Off and Best  Popular Movie is Udaharanam Sujatha. Actor Fahadh Fazil won best actor award for Thondimuthalum dridasakshiyum while Manju Warrier ( Udaharanam Sujatha ) and  Parvathy (Take off) shared best actress awards

Indian Film Awards 2018 by Flowers TV - Show on 31st March 2018| Venue and Pass details

Indian Film Awards 2018 will be distributed in a colorful event on 31st March 2018. Flowers TV is all set to host their second Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018. They have also hosted and announced their first Flowers Television Awards in 2016.

The promos indicate that the award function will be attended by many film personalities and celebrities from south Indian and bollywood Industries. Actors Mohallal, Manju warrier, Tovino Thomas, Andrea Jeremiah, Singer Hariharan, Stephen Devassy, Shanthikrishan, Nedumudi Venu etc.

 Indian Film Awards 2018 were selected by a Jury.  The jury also include eminent persons from both south Indian and bollywood film Industries. The show is going to be star studded event with celebrities from Hindi, Tamil,Telugu and Malayalam Film Industries. The show will be attended by a huge crowd and nearly five hour program that ads glitz and glamour to the awards show. We will update the winners of the film awards following the function.

Rebecca Santhosh-Actress in Serials and Films| Kavya in Kasthooriman serial

Rebecca Santhosh is an upcoming Indian actress working mostly in Malayalam Films and Television serials. She currently playing the role of Kavya, heroine of Kasthooriman serial being aired on Malayalam Channel Asianet.

Career

Rebecca started her career as a child model for a jewelry advertisement while studying in fourth standard. She debuted as a film actress when she was in 10th standard through ‘Thiruvambadi Thamban (2012) directed by M. Padmakumar with actor Jayaram in lead role. In this movie she played the daughter of Jayaram’s brother. Her performance as film actress was noted though  the ‘Minnaminungu The Fire Fly (2017) directed by Anil Thomas and written by Manoj Ramsingh . In Minna miungu Rebecca played a character Charu, the daughter of a widow characterized by national award winner Surabhi Lakshmi. Rebecca was also the the heroine of the campus entertainer ‘Snehakoodu’.

Rebecca debuted as a Television actress through ‘Kunjikoonan’ serial., which aired on Asianet in 2011 in which she appeared as the character Asin. It was the serial Mizhi randilum directed by Manju Dharman, which aired in Surya TV that introduced she became heroine in the small screen. She  played Anagha, a possessive, short-tempered and bold girl. Popular actor Boban Alumoodan , Divya Viswanath were also part of this serial. The role helped her to  bag a character in  Neermathalam serial directed by S Janardhanan. In this TV serial she played the lead character Gauri , a ghost.

Actress Rebecca Santhosh as Kavya in Kasthooriman serial on Asianet.  Kasthooriman is written by N Vinu Narayanan and Directed by Sunil Karyattukara. The role of bold character Kavya gives her immense opportunity to perform on mini-screen.  The serial tells the life of Sethulekshmi and her daughters . The role of Sethulakshmi, a self- trained artist in the field of classical dance is played by  Paraveena. The role of  her three young daughters, Kavya, Keerthy and Kalyani are portrayed by Rebecca Santhosh, Della and Keerthy. Kavya is an an advocate, she is bold enough to take care of her family including her two younger sisters and mother though they are financially down. Personal life
Rebecca Santhosh (19 yrs)  hails from Thrissur, Kerala. Her father Santhosh is a businessman and mother a housewife. After completing her  her schooling at Chaldean Syrian Higher Secondary School (CSHSS) Thrissur, Kerala, she is pursuing Bachelor of Management Studies at Saint Theresa’s College in Ernakulam. Like her grand father who was a theatre artiste, Rebecca would like to be part of theatre productions as acting live on stage helps an actor.  In fact, Rebecca started acting   in a drama while she was in fifth standard, which paved way for her acting.  She like to become a cinematographer after completing her graduation. She was active during the school youth festivals and participated in orchestra, kathaprasangam, music and all sorts of cultural events. She is very passionate about acting, also love trekking and riding bikes.

Malayalam Television Actor Harun dies in an accident

Malayalam Actor Harun passed away following an accident. He is known to malayalam television viewers as 'Appunni' in Popular serial Manjurukum Kalam telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama.

Harun was an engineering student, in real life. who had immense passion towards acting. The 19-year-old young actor slipped in his washroom and suffered a severe head injury which led to his untimely death.

The sudden death of the upcoming actor came as a shock to everyone including members of Television industry. The sudden demise was shared by actor Manoj Kumar (Aka Manu Nair) in his facebook page(see below). Manoj Kumar played the role of the character Appunni's father, Vijayaraghavan in that serial.

Manjurukum Kaalam is a malayalam television serial telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama TV since 16 February 2015. The soap opera is written by Joycy and directed by Binu Vellathooval. The serial had many new actors. Monisha , Anish Rehman, Manu Nair ,Lavanya Nair, Manju Satheesh,Kishore Roslin etc. Harun played the teenage version of the character Appunni.

Lalitham 50 on Mazhavil Manorama to honor actress KPAC Lalitha| Telecast Details

Laitham 50 - a mega show for honoring veteran actor KPAC Lalitha who completes 50 successful years in acting will be telecasted on Mlayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama on March 18, 2018 at 5PM.

‘Lalitham 50’ mega show was held at the Victoria College Ground, Palakkad, on December 27, 2017. Ekta Pravasi Rahim and Abhirami Associates and Charitable Trust jointly organised the show.The show was attended by various political personalities and stars from malayalam film industry. Vishu, Easter Movies 2018 on Malayalam Channels

Aadhi is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, is an action move with Pranav Mohanlal in lead. Aditi Ravi, Anusree, Jagapati Babu, Siddique, Lena, Sharafudheen, Siju Wilson are in supporting start cast of this film. Aadhi was released in India on 26 January 2018 and met with widely positive critical response with box office collection exceeding 35 crores.

Udaharanam Sujata is directed by directed by debutant Phantom Praveen and produced by Martin Prakkat and Joju George. It is a remake of the 2016 Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata. Manju Warrier plays Sujatha, a woman living in a colony doing odd jobs. Anaswara Rajan, Nedumudi Venu, Mamta Mohandas and Joju George co-star in other significant roles. Filming began on 4 May 2017, shoot underwent in Thiruvananthapuram. Madhu Neelakandan handles cinematography. Gopi Sunder is the music director. The movie was a hit at the box office collecting up to 10 crores.

 Aadu 2 is written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Vijay Babu under Friday Film House. It is the sequel to the 2015 film Aadu, and Jayasurya, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Saiju Kurup, Vineeth Mohan, Harikrishnan, Bhagath Manuel, Vijay Babu and Vinayakan reprise their roles. The first version Aadu was not a box office hit but started getting positive reviews after the release of DVD. But its second part Aadu 2 was a box office hit by collecting more than 20 crores . Mersal –is a Tamil movie starring Vijay presently & is scheduled on Easter 2018 day. Mersal is directed by Atlee and co-written by Atlee, K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and S. Ramana Girivasan (dialogues). The film stars Vijay in triple roles with Samantha, Nithya Menen, and Kajal Aggarwal. The background score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman, while the cinematography was done by G. K.
