Kitchen Magic season 3 on Kairali TV to start on April 16th at 700 PM

The season 3 of the Malayalam Cookery Competition Show, Kitchen Magic is going to be launched on 16 April 2014 at 7.00 PM.  The show will be telecasted every Monday to Thursday at 7.00 PM.

Kitchen magic is a pioneering malayalam cookery reality show on Kairali TV is  hosted celebrity chef , Lekshmi Nair.  The culinary skills of the contestants will be judges by an expert team including Lekshmi Nair and actor Krishna.

The first season of Kitchen Magic was a success and Dr. Avaneesh won the title. The second season of the kitchen Magic was for artists from television field and the winners were Actresses Nisha Sarang and Anila Sreekumar.

61st National Film Award Winners List: Suraj Venjaramood Wins Best Actor Award for his role in Perariyathavar

National Films Awards is the most prestigious award in India which everyone in the film world wants to win at least once in their life time.An 11-member jury, headed by noted directed Saeed Akhtar Mirza announced the awards for 2014.

Ship Of Theseus is awarded the best feature Film and Best director is Hansal Mehta for Shahid

Malayalam Actor Suraj Venjaramood will share the award from best actor with Rajkumar Rao for thri performance Malayalam film "Perariyathavar" and in Hindi film "Shahid" , respectively in the 61st National Film Awards, 2014.

 In Perariyathavar, directed by Dr Biju, Suraj played the role of a sweeper in the film . According to jury Suraj's "dignified and quiet" portrayal of a man on the lower margins of the society, has been applauded as the actor "soulfully brought out (the character) with subtle body language and eyes which transcend words"

He is the second comedian from malayalam who wins Best Actor award  in the National Film Awards. Earlier Salim Kumar won the award for his role in Adaminte Makan.

Winners of Celebrity Kitchen Magic Show on Kairali TV are Nisha Sarang and Anila Sreekumar

Nisha Sarang and Anila Sreekumar were declared as the winners of Celebrity Kitchen Magic show on Kairali TV. It is the season 2 of Kitchen Magic Cookery Competition Show hosted by Dr.Lekshmi Nair. There were six finalists in the grand finale competing for the title

Celebrity Kitchen Magic is a first of its kind Malayalam cookery reality show on Kairali TV, hosted by celebrity chef Lekshmi Nair. In the season 2 of the show , named as celebrity Kitchen Magic , TV actors were the main contestants. The participants were supposed to display their culinary skills in innovative, creative, healthy and hygienic ways in the competition, which is judged by chef Lekshmi Nair and actor Krishna. Various innovative rounds were included in the show to test the cooking skills and the competition span over an year.

In the grand finale of the show, Veena was the anchor. Dr . Lekshmi Nair and Actor Krishna announced the names of the winners. Kairali TV Managing director John Brittas handed over the prizes during the function.

Actress Indu Thampi to marry Actor Major Kishore |Engagement photos and news


Malayalam Film and Television Actress, Model and former Miss Kerala (2010 ) Indu Thampi is going to marry Actor Major Kishore. The engagement took place on 6 April 2014 at Thiruvananthapuram. The marriage will be held on 7 December 2014 at Thiruvanathapuram.

Indu Thampi and Major Kishore came to know each other through their debut movie Nizhal ( Anabella in Malayalam), the first directorial venture of Actress Ambika. They got engaged on 6 April 2014 in Trivandrum

Major Kishore, an upcoming actor in malayalam and Tamil industry, is also from Thiruvananthapuram . He’s is a Major from the Indian Army in real life, who took voluntary retirement to pursue his dreams in film world.

Kadhayil Alpam Kavyam -Memoirs of Kavya Madhavan to release on 11 April 2014.

Kadhayil Alpam Kavyam is the first book of Actress Kavya Madhavan. The Memoirs by Kavya Madhavan is going to be released on Friday, 5 PM , April 11, 2014 by Mathrubhumi Books.

The official launching of the book will be carried out in a function organised by Mathrubhumi Books at K P Keshava Menon Hall in Kozhikkodu , Kerala. Famous writer C.V.Balakrishan will  release the book by handing over a copy to Script Writter Deedi Damodaran. Kavya Madhavan will be giving a speech in the function.

Kadhayil Alpam Kavyam is the compilation of the autobiographical articles by Kavya published  in Grihalekshmi Magazine by Mathrubhumi.  Madhu K Menon helped Kavya to write this book.

Meri Awaz Suno On Doordarshan (National) | Music Reality Show

Meri Awaz Suno was an iconic Music reality and talent search show on Doorsharshan (Inaidn National Television Cahnnel). Meri Awaz Suno is the first music reality television show in India telecasted by DD National in 1996.


The national level show and music talent search contest was conducted jointly by Doordarshan, Lata Mangeshkar, and Yash Chopra's "Metavision". The judging panel included eminent Indian musicians Pandit Jasraj, Bhupen Hazarika, Manna Dey and Lata Mangeshkar.

The title songs of the show was sung by Lata Makeshkar.

Annu Kapoor was the anchor and host of the show.

Winners of Meri Awaz Suno show were Pradip Somasundaram from Thrissur Kerala Kerala and Sunidhi Chauhan from Delhi .The legendary Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey ,Bhupen Hazarika and Hindustani vocalist Pandit Jasraj were the judges for the grand finale of Meri Awaz  Suno.

"Lata Mangeshkar" Trophy for the best male singer was given to Pratip Somasundaram along with Sunidhi Chauhan who won in the female category.

The show was purely based on talents (not on text messages, SMS were involved) and the competition span over an year with various round to test the talent of the contestants.

 Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan is considered the major discovery of the show Meri Awaaz Suno telecasted in October, 1996. She is now an established singer in main focus on bollywood.

Soon after 'Meri Awaz Suno' in 1996, Pradip also  got  many offers to sing in  Malayalam films. He is an engineer by profession, so he wisely stuck to his job. He is now the Principal of the IHRD College of Applied Sciences at Vadakkumchery. He is also a playback singer in other languages including Telugu.

 Hatim Veeragatha is the dubbed version of Life Ok Channel thriller drama show in hindi 'The Adventures of Hatim' premiered on December 2013.

Story line: The serial narrates the journey of a normal man who goes on to become the savior of the world. The story of Hatim Veeragatha is based on the life of Hatim Tai, who was a prince and great Arab poet and was the father of Adi bin Hatim and Safana bint Hatim who was the companions of the Prophet Muhammad. Hatim Tai lived in the sixth century CE. He also figures in The Arabian Nights.

The story is set in the Middle East around the Middle Ages . Hatim has to solve seven questions to defeat the evil sorcerer lord Dajjal aided by Najumi. The story has elements of fantasy. Watch the serial to know more exciting events in the life of Hatim.
