Malayalam Channel Asianet launched new season of their most popular and epic music reality show 'Star Singer.  This music reality and talent search show is launched on January  3rd, 2021 with actress Jewel Mary the anchor. Actor Tovino Thomas was the chief guest during the launching ceremony. The launching event was a colorful event with many actors/dancer/musicians showcasing their talents. 

Flowers Top Singer music reality Show will be aired every Saturyday and Sunday at 7:30 PM. The music reality and talent search show will have 40 contestants,  7 boys and 13 girls.

Star Singer Season 8 (Star Singer 8) on Malayalam Channel Asianet will start on January 9th, 2021 at 7.30 pm. Grand launching celemony was on 3rd January with Actor Tovino Thomas inaugurating the function by lighting a lamp. 

The season 8 epic show is back with a bang on No.1 Kerala GEC Asianet. This edition will have forty contestants from across Kerala finalized through auditions. Jewel Mary will host 8th edition of Epic show, Star singer and it will be telecast every Weekend.

The judging panel comprises of Singers K S Chithra, G Venugopal, Manjari, music directors Sarath and Stephen Devassy. Apart from the jury members, prominent personalities from the film industry will also attend the show as celebrity guests.

Star Singer Season 8 launch event was aired on 3rd January only on Asianet. Youth Icon Tovino Thomas is the chief guest of the mega show in which introducing the 40 highly talented contestants and jury panel. Actor Rahul Ravi married Lekshmi S Nair  in a Hindu traditional wedding on Sunday (December 27) in Perumbavoor, Ernamkulam, Kerala. Rahul looked handsome in a traditional Mundu and Shirt while Lekshmi was seen draped in a red designer Kasavu saree. The marriage took place in Perumbavoor Seema Auditorium in the presence of close family and friends

Rahul Ravi is an Indian film/serial actor and model. Rahul debuted as a television actor through Malayalam superhit serial Ponnambili directed by Gireesh Konni. He is now best known for his role as Haripadmanabhan in Ponnambili, a serial broadcasts on Mazhavil Manorama. He is known to all south Indian TV audience through the Sun TV serial Nandini. Actress Yamuna married Devan Ayyankeri | photos

Malayalam serial and movie actress Yamuna  has found love for the second time in her life. The actress has tied the knot with Devan Ayyankeril  at Kollur Mookambika Temple on Monday (December 7).The traditional Hindu wedding was attended by her daughters and close family/friends.

Yamuna said to a malayalam daily that  "Devan Ayyankeril is my husband's name. He had been living in USA working as a psychotherapist. I strongly believe that Sree Padhmanabha Swamy heard my prayer for a good human being as my husband and it materialized on December 7 th at Kollur Mookambika Temple,"  She also added that  "My 10-year-old daughter Aashmi and 15-year-old Aami jokingly told me they are not at marriageable age yet as someone suggested online. I hope you will all support me as you always have and thank you all. Your Yamuna". 

Devan hails from Mavelikkara and has been residing in USA for the last 30 years. It is also second marriage for Devan. He has a daughter(Fiona) from first marriage who is currently in college. 

In a recent interview she said even though her friends and family were constantly asking her to rethink about marriage as it was more than 5 years after divorce, she never felt the need to do so as  she was busy with her daughters and career. "But, when the lockdown started, my kids were at their father's place and for months together, I was stuck within the four walls of my flat. Words can't describe the mental pressure I was going through of not having anyone near me. That's when I realized I needed companionship and decided to get married," she said.
