SAGARAM SAKSHI -New Malayalam Serial on Surya TV from 13th June 2016

Sagaram Saakshi is a new tele serial on Malayalam channel Surya TV. The new serial will be launched on June 13, 2015, Monday at  7.00 PM.  The new family drama  will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 7.00 PM.

Cast and Crew : Sagaram Sakshi  is directed by Kurup Mararikkulam with a script written by Sinoj. Sharath Das, Lekshmi Pramod, Stephi Leon, KPAC Saji, Sajan Surya, Ambili Devi  etc are the popular actors in lead roles in this teledrama. Stephi is in double roles

 In addition to this Surya TV is also currently showing  family serials Punarjani , Bhagyalekshmi . My Marumakan Manassariyathe and Chechiyamma . As the rating of Surya TV is low in 2016, teh channel is trying to get back its popularity through new family dramas.  Nagakanayka,  the Malayalam dubbed version of hit serial Naagin will be launched on Surya TV on 20 the June 2016 . Mahaveera Hanuman, Hindi dubbed serial is also getting good response from Surya TV viewers

Alina Padikkal is a TV anchor, RJ and Actress in Malayalam Television serials.  She is well known as the host of many TV shows on Malayalam mini Screen. She is now acting as heroine in Asianet serial Bharya.

Career

Alina Padikkal started her career  as television anchor through the program Butterflies on Malayalam Channel Asianet. She won Kerala State Television Award in 2005 for the above program and establish as a versatile TV host. She later hosted many shows and programs on  various malayalam channels including Asianet Plus, Kairali TV, Surya TV and Kiran TV. She gained much popularity through the program Aarppo Irro , reality show for television artists. She co-costed the show with Baiju Jospeh. Alina later anchored  Smart Show  on Flowers TV along with Sreekandan Nair. She is also the host of Comedy Circus  on Mazhavil Manorama

She debuted as the heroine of tele-serial through Bharya  on Asianet directed by V.K Gireeshkumar under Risesun banners. In this serial she plays the role of Nayana, wife Nandan-sond of Viswanthan and Jayaprabha.  Soon after her marriage with Nandan, wicked Nayana creates problems in their house, with the support of her parents and brother. The character is Nayana, with shades of grey, is already noted by the malayalam audiences.


Personal and Family Life

Alina Padikkal was born on 1st December 1993 to Mr  Philippos Padikkal and Bindu Philippose from Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. After completing her schooling from Holy Angels’ ISC School Nanthancode, Thiruvananthapuram, she  took graduation in Media Studies from Christ University, Bangalore, Karnataka . Nayana is a women biker and was featured on an article in Metroplus of The hindu news paper.

 Kerala State Television Awards 2015: Complete List

The winners of Kerala State Television Awards 2015 have been announced by Kerala Chalachitra Academy on Friday, June 3, 2016.The awards were selected from the entries submitted for the award.

The winners of Kerala State TV award 2015 in the feature section were selected by the jury members including, Chairman Nemom Pushparaj, Sona Nair, Anil Thomas, Salam Bappu, VIjayakumar and CR Rajamohan. The awards in the non-feature section were selected by a five-member jury chaired by Suresh Shivadas while the winners in article category were determined by a Jury chaired by Sreebala K Menon.

Malayalam Channels Flowers TV and Mazhavil Manorama bagged most of the awards in the feature sections. The detailed list of Awards are given below.
