The objective of Mamankam School of to provide each student an opportunity to explore, understand and cultivate his/her own style and character in dance.
The institute will train students in Indian dance forms Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi and in the martial art Kalaripayattu. It will also train Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art form, which combines dance, acrobatics and music. This art form is known for its quick and complex moves, kicks, spins and highly mobile techniques. There will be training in the Hip Hop dance form also. Contestants with best singing talent were selected though a series of statewide audition in Kerala. 24 Contestants were selected for the season 1 of the show. Vidyadharan Master was the Mahaguru for all the top 24 contestants in Season 1.
The audition for Surya Singer Season 2 occurred at various centres across Kerala on March 1-2, 2014. For the first time in Malayalam Television an interactive audition through internet (Skype, Google hang out etc) was also arranged. The season 2 of the the show on Surya TV was launched on 31 March 2014.

Malayalam and Tamil Actress Sreeja Chandran married actor Sentil Kumar on 2 July 2014 in Thirupathi Temple. They were acting together for more than four years in STAR Vijay's sensational serial Saravannan Meenatchi. Finally they decided make the reel life to real life through a private ceremony in Tirupathi attended only by relatives and close friends.
Sreeja Chandran started her career as malayalam actress. Her first movie as child artist was Kathapurushan by Adoor Gopalakrishnan . Later she acted in movies Krishna Gopala Krishna, Pularvettam, Bargavacharitham moonam Kantham, Sahotharana Sahathevan, Pakal etc.
