Avanthika Mohan Quits Athmasakhi serial on Mazhavil Manorama

Popular malayalm actress Avanthika  has decided to quit the very popular Athmasakhi serial recently. She plays the lead role of a bold and modern character Nanditha who is a doctor by profession in this Malayalam TV series. Athmasakhi was launched in  May 2016 on Malayalm GEC channel Mazhavil Manorama.

This fiction is produced by Shobana Umadharan under the popular banner Sauparnika Creations. The story and script is written by noted TV actress Sangeetha Mohan and the show is directed by Mohan Kupleri.  Rayjan Rajan plays the role of the hero Sathyajith IPS. The actors and actresses include Manu Nair, Beena Antony, Sree Raksha, Sanjay, Jishin Mohan, Sangeetha Mohan etc . The protrayal of Nadhitha by Avanthika was well received by the audience and they were not happy when a new actress Divya replaced here.

The Malayalam TV serial audience were clueless about the change. Avanthika Mohan finally  revealed the reason why she quits the serial in an intereview given to a National Daily that '"I am experiencing a special phase of my life and doctors advised me to take a 3 months bed rest that's why I was forced to quit the show. I am pregnant.The initial days are very crucial and so I need to take care of the baby within me. Busy shooting schedules really affected my health" she revealed this happy news on Maother Day. She also added that she is looking forward to the first mother's day next year. She is planing to come back to entertainment industry after this break.

Avanthika has acted in many movies including those in  Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. She made her debut film, Yakshi – Faithfully Yours and was later seen in films including Crocodile Love Story (2012) and Mr. Bean (2013). 2014 she made her Tamil debut with Aalamaram. In May 2016, she debuted as a telvision actress through the TV series Athmasakhi .Later in June she made her Telugu Television debut through Raja Rani in which she plays a strong and innocent school teacher.She is getting positive reviews from both TV series.

Avanthika married Anil Kumar Kainth, a pilot by profession,  on August 31, 2017 at Kozhikode. It was a love cum arranged marriage. Rituals like Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeeth in Punjabi style were held on 30th August 2017. Congrats to Avanthika.

Actor Kalasala Babu passed away

Malayalam Actor Kalasala Babu -known for his roles in Malayalam Films, Television Serials and drama -passed away at the age of 68y on 13th May 2018 Night in Ernakulam. He was suffering from heart-related problems and was under treatment for the past three months. His health condition deteriorated after he reportedly suffered a stroke during an emergency surgery. He breathed his last on Sunday due to cerebral hemorrhage. He is survived by his wife Lalitha and children, Sreedevi who resides in the US and Viswanthan who resides in Ireland.

Kalasala Babu is the son of Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair and Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma-renowned Mohiniyattam danseuse. He is active part of entetainement industry for more than 45 years. He debuted as a drama actor through plays ('Manishada' , Drishyanjali') mostly produced by Kalidasa Kala Kendram. He debuted as a film actor in 1977, in Inayethedi, the first venture of John Paul, George Kitho, Kaloor Dennis and Antony Eastman as hero of Silk Smitha, but the film was a flop. As he was not getting good response in films, he launched his own drama troupe called Kalasala in Tripunithura, which had artistes such as Thilakan and Surasu among others. This is how he got the name 'Kalasala Babu'.  The theater group was active for more than 10 years.

He started his television career through a telefilm 'Kala' made for Doordarshan in the year 1999. He essayed important roles in as many as 28 mega serials. His television serials include Kadamattath Kathanar,Swamy ayyapan,Lipstick,,Police Story, Kudumbayogam Mattoruval, Devimahatmyam, Amma, Ramayanam, Vallarpadathamma,Indira,Sooryakaladi,Parassini shri Muthappan,Sathyam Shivam Sundaram Jagratha,etc

Mohanlal to host Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1 on Asianet

Bigg Boss Malayalam is coming soon on Asianet. The Bigg Boss Season 1 Malayalam will be broadcasted globally soon. Asianet has bagged super Star Mohanalal as the host of much awaited show on Asianet. The official launching of the show was held on Crowne Plaza on May 10, 2018. The anouncement came from Mr. K. Madhavan, M.D, Star South.

According to him, this show is expected to be another path breaking program from Asianet which already has to its credit such iconic reality shows such as Star Singer, Nigalkum Aakam Kodiswaran and many other serials. The show would include contestants not just who are from the limelight, but those from the everyday walk of life as well. In reply to the announcement of him as the anchor of Bigg Boss Mohanalal said “I hope to do a good job as an anchor and I am really grateful and honoured to take up this opportunity for the upcoming Malayalam reality show Bigg Boss. He also added that “This show will definitely be a new experience for me. It is a role that I am excited about because the challenges will be totally different. I’m really looking forward to it". Asianet Bigg Boss Malayalam show is launched as a part of celebration for completing 25th anniversary of Asianet. Presented by Asianet and produced by Endemol Shine Productions, Bigg Boss will feature 16 celebrities living together inside a custom made ‘Bigg Boss’ house for 100 days. The participants will be completely cut off from the outside world – they will have no access to internet, phones, television or newspapers. With no way out to distract themselves, each participant will have to compete with others inside the house to complete various tasks; they will be tracked and monitored by 60 robotic & manned cameras continuously. The lavish Bigg Boss house will have all necessary comfort to stay for 100 days.

The show in Bigg boss format is not new to Malayali Audience. Asianet Bigg Boss Malayalam will be a replication of the old reality show called ‘Malayali House’ telecasted on Surya TV. Rahul Easwar was the winner of the show.

Sreeram Ramachandran -Actor | Jeeva in Kasthooriman Serial on Asianet

Sreeram Ramachandran is an actor who works mostly in Malayalam Movies and Television Serials. He has also acted in Short films, Ads, albums and also worked as assistant art director. Malayalam television viewers recognize him as Jeeva in Kasthooriman -super hit serial on Asianet, adapted from 'Kumkum Bhagya'-Hindi serial on Zee Tv .

Career

Sreeram started his career as an assistant art director with Sunil Babu in Tamil film Ghajini and Villu while studying for his engineering degree. That is when he got a chance to debut in malayalm movie industry through Vineeth Sreenivasans directorial debut movie 'Malarvadi arts club' (2010) along with Nivin Pauly. It was followed by 'Thattathin Marayathu'. These two movies were super hits. He is has worked in many Tamil and Kannada movies as assistant art director before staring in Malayalam Films. 

He started as a television actor through Amrita TV program 'Just Fun Chumma' as the character Anand. This series directed by Pramod Mohan paved his way to a full time role in the Shyamaprasad movie Artist starring Fahadh Fazil and Ann Augustine in lead roles. His first musical album Ninayathe sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan directed by Ganesh Raj was released which was well received by music lovers.

Later he became part of many short films and Albums ( Just Married by Sajan Joseph, Lets take a break by Pramod Mohan, Aliveni by Jairam Ramachandran,Rollie by Abhay Stephen ,Across the Ocean by Uma Kumarapuram -Nicole Donadio, Padippura by Rajeesh Raj, Nuzhainthaley by Ganesh Raj etc). He also did a TV commercial with the legendary actor Mohanlal for Kannan Devan tea. He is now acting in Orayiram Kinakalal-Malayalam debut movie of Pramod Mohan, Gambinos by Gireesh Panicker . He will also be part of upcoming Anjali Menon film starring Prithviraj and Nazriya.

Sreeram Ramachandran  as Jeeva in Kasthooriman Serial on Asianet

Sreeram debuted as the hero of mega serial through Asainet Malayalam Serial Kasthooriman directed by Sunil Karyatukara.  It was launched on 11th December 2017. Sreeram gives life to Jeeva, a character with negative shades, someone who is slightly arrogant and has no qualms about playing with the emotions of a girl he marries. His effortless portrayal of that character help him to became very popular among malayali audience.

Personal life and family

Sreeram Ramachandran hails from Kozhikode, Kerala. His father Pala CK Ramachandran is an accomplished senior carnatic musician and also the primary disciple of Sri.Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. Sreeram did his schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kozhikode and pursued engineering degree in electronics from AWH Engineering College, Kozhikode. His brother Jayaram Ramachandran is a graphics designer and animator in the film industry.  Sreeram is now settled in Kochi with his wife Vanditha and their daughter.

Kumarasambhavam is a new devotional serial lauched on Malayalam Entertainement Channel Amrita TV on 16th April 2018 . The  Mythological Serial "Kumarasambhavam" is aired every Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM, o Amrita TV. The serial will have 250 episodes and is schedule to end on 29.3.2019

Amrita Tv serial Kumarasambhavam is produced by Sree Subrahmanaym Enterprises and directed by  Manoj LM. The shoot is progressing in Peppara reserved forest area.Kumarasambhavam  is from the team that produced popular shows like 'Devi Mahathmyam' and 'Satyam Sivam Sundaram'. Story Line : The serial is based on Kalidasa's epic poem ‘Kumarasambhavam.” It literally means 'Birth of Kumara – the Lord Subramanya'.  But the story deviates from this poem by bringing in some stories glorifying the deity. Incorporates some very important sequences of Lord Subramanya, his meeting with Avvayyar , quarrel with Ganapathi, etc.. The show will be a mega-serial version of the classic Malayalam movie 'Kumarasambhavam'. The original versions of the popular songs (example priyasakhi gange...) in the movie will also be used in the show. Kumara Sambhavam movie was released in 1969 both in Malayalam and Tamil film (bilingual), directed and produced by P. Subramaniam. Story revolved with the decision of  Parvathi, daughter of Himavan, who is firm on her decision to marry none other than Lord Siva. But lord Shiva entered into long meditation following the death of his wife Sathi, daughter of  Daksha, who had strong enimity towards Shiva. The demon  Tharakasura was now in control of heaven and the gods and can be killed only by Shiva' Son. Narada advises Parvathi to worship Lord Siva and win his love. By her efforts Parvathi manages to win the love of Shiva and get married. Parvathi gives birth to Subramanyan who grows up and duly kills Tharakasura

Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018 -Winners List

The winner of Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018 was honored and awards were  distributed in a colorful event on 31st March 2018. Take off is the best film , Indrans won awards for best actor and Manju Warrier as best actress. Flowers TV  Channael telecasted their 2018 edition of Flowers Indian Film Awards show on April 7th and April 8th 2018 at 7 PM.

The reality show  Made For Each Other Season 2 was launched on 4th December 2017. The channel aired this program every Monday to Wednesday at 9.00 P.M. The grand finale will be aired on May 7th & 8th, 2018 at 9:00 PM

The show started with 10 newly wedded couple as participants and Poornima Indrajith  is the anchor of the show.  The second season of  Made for each other began with 10 newly-wedded couples who were grouped into two teams - Love marriage and Arranged marriage. The newly-married couples from diverse backgrounds competing with each other in various challenge and fun tasks to become the grand winner.

The Season 2 of Made for each other was launched in Lakshadweep. Then the venue of the show changed from Rajasthan, Karnataka and finally ended in Munnar.  Interesting part of the show is the fun filled moments, adventurous tasks and the love and chemistry between the couples


Made for Each Other Season 2 Grand Finale
The grand finale of Made for each other 2 will be aired soon on Mazhvil Manorana.  The grand finale will be hosted by popular anchors Raj Kalesh and Mathukutty, who host the show Udan Panam. Poornima Indrajith, Rekha Menon and Sabita Jayaraj will be judging the finale.  The five finalists are Adarsh-Shyama, Sumith - Hima, Rijin - Sree Lakshmi, Jereesh - Aarathi and Jabir- Shyma.  Adarsh-Shyama won the first prize and became title winners
