Winners of Asianet television awards 2018 were announced in a colorful ceremony held in February at  Alsaj convention Center ,Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum, India 69558. Promos of Awards show was going on air for the last few months. Asianet now declared the Telecast date of 11th Asianet television Awards 2018.

The award show of Asianet television awards 2018 will be held on February 16th, 2018 Saturday  at Alsaj convention Center ,Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum, India 69558. the show will be telecasted on 24tha nd 25th February 2018

Asianet Television awards is to honour programs on Asianet TV and its artists. The awards include best actor/actress, best entertainer, best judge male/female, favourite anchor male/female, favourite show,favourite junior male/female, favourite fiction/nonfiction comedian, best male/female dancer, supporting actor/actress, favourite dancer male/female  etc.Celebrities from both TV and Movie industry will honour the extraordinary talents from small screen industry and there will be colorful dance and hilarious comedy performance at the show.

 Actor suresh Gopi was the chief guest of the Television Awards 2018 and he was honored with star of the star award. Acot Mukesh go Golden star Award while Actor Raghavn were honored during the show with life time achievement award. Best director Award were won by Parasparam serial director Harrison.  Kasthooriman serial won best serial award. Actress Gaaythri Arun won best actress award for her performance in Parasparam serial as Deepthi IPS. Actor Sajan Surya bagged best actor award for his role as Narendran in Bharya Serial

Actor Harikumaran Thampy passed away

Malayalam film and Television actor Harikumaran Thampy(56 y) passed away on 13th February 2018 evening in Thiruvanadapuram, Kerala. He was under medical treatment for kidney related problems in medical college hospital.

Harikumaran Thampy is known mostly for roles with Comic shades. He acted in Malayalam Film Dala Markamarangal (2009) directed by Vijayakrishnan. He played the role of the character RajaSekharan Pillai in that movie

Mazhavil Manorama Malayalam TV channel has announced the launch of a new mega serial 'Pranayini'. The promo and announcement of the serial is already out with a tag- story of a girl who is torn between her loving father and lover.

Vidya Vijay- to host Malayalam Music Reality show Super 4 on Mazhavil Manorama 

Vidya Vijay is the new anchor of anchor of the brand new game show 'Super 4' on Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama. The new Malayalam reality show withe four judges as team leaders and 16 contestants were launched on February 3rd, 2018 at 8:00 PM. The show will be aired every Saturyday and Sunday at 8:00 PM.

Actress Divya Unni's Second Marriage with Arun Kumar -Photos

Malayalam Actress and dancer Divya Unni married for the second time in Houston United states on 4th February 2018. She married Mumbai-based Malayali from Trivandrum Arun Kumar Manikandan in a simple wedding that took place in Guruvayoorappan Temple in Houston, USA.

Arun is working as an engineer in Houston for the past four years. The marriage news came as a surprise to many. Divya is presently running Sreepadam School of Arts in Houston, Texas, United States. She has been pursuing her passion for dance since she was three-years-old. She is trained in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam. She is recently seen in many interviews, dance shows and started pursuing her studies.

Divya married Dr Sudhir Sekhar in June 2002 and moved to USA. She ended her 14-year old marriage in 2016.
