Malayalam Actress and dancer Divya Unni married for the second time in Houston United states on 4th February 2018. She married Mumbai-based Malayali from Trivandrum Arun Kumar Manikandan in a simple wedding that took place in Guruvayoorappan Temple in Houston, USA.
Arun is working as an engineer in Houston for the past four years. The marriage news came as a surprise to many. Divya is presently running
Sreepadam School of Arts in Houston, Texas, United States. She has been pursuing her passion for dance since she was three-years-old. She is trained in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam. She is recently seen in many interviews, dance shows and started pursuing her studies.

Divya married Dr Sudhir Sekhar in June 2002 and moved to USA. She ended her 14-year old marriage in 2016. Divya announced that she has separated from her husband and will be legally ending her 14-years-old marriage. She officially got divorced in August 2017. There were lot of speculations regarding the divorce. While the real reason is still unclear, the rumours have it that Sudhir’s infidelity and ego between the couples were cited as reasons that broke the marriage. After her separation from her husband, Divya moved to Kochi with her children Arjun and Meenakshi.

Divya debuted in films as a child artiste with the Malayalam actress Neeyethra Dhanya in 1987. She starred as a lead in Dileep's 1996 film Kalyana Sougandhikam. She acted in more than 50 films including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films.
