Gayathri Arun to host 'the people's choice' -New Game Show on Asianet

Gayathri Arun will host the new game show the peoples choice on Asianet. The malayalam entertainment channel Asianet has bagged popular actress Gayathri Arun for this show as promoted through their new show promos in social media and television.

The people's Choice  is a new game show on Asianet. The new TV show will be launched on 10th July 2017 and the first episode will be aired on the same date at 9:30 PM. The peoples choice on Asianet will be aired every Monday to Wednesday at 9:30. The promos shows the new game show in a very unique format. The participants of the show are required to express their view on the various topics like current issues, socio – economic problems, cinema, literature etc. to win the prizes.

Anchor Gayathri ArunGayathri Arun  is known to malyalam audience as Deepti IPS in super hit serial Parasparam on Asainet.  Parasparam is the  Malayalam Television Serial on Asianet directed by Sudheesh Shankar and produced by Ross Petals. The serial is number one among all the malayalam serials according new TRP ratings by BARC. Paraspram is the remake of popular hindi serial Diya Aur Baati Hum broadcasted on Star Plus.

Gayathri Arun started her career as television actress through Mazhavil Manorama serial Indira. The title role of the serial was initially played by actress Sujitha. Gayathri essayed the role till the climax episode. She had hosted shows on Kairali TV, Jaihind TV and Shalom TV (eg: Kalalayavarnangal and Gandharvasangeetham ) and compered stage shows before taking up the acting career. Gayathri has also worked as RJ in FM Channel earlier. This unique experinece is giving her a great chance to host a show on Asianet.

Winners of Tamil Nadu State Film Awards 2009-2014 | Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress

The Tamil Nadu State government has announced film awards for six years staring from 2009 to 2014. The awards were decided by a Jury lead by former judge A. Raman . The awards are given in various categories including Best Movie, Best Director, Best Scriptwriter, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Villain, Best Comedian, Best Character Artist, Best Comedian, Best Villain, Best Child artist, Best Music director , Best Dialogue Writer etc.. The Tamil Nadu State Films Award were discontinued in 2008. But recent efforts by Actor Vishal, the  chairman of the producers council of the Tamil Cinema recently requested the government to reinstate the awards. State film awards is a great honour to film artists and technicians. The announcement came as a surprise

Actress Surabhi Lekshmi divorced her husband Vipin Sudhakar

Actress Surabhi lekshmi and her husband had a friendly divorce. Yes, it is confirmed by both Surabhi and Vipin on their facebook page. The divorce was granted by family court. The news is confirmed by Vipin himself. He posted a selfie saying that "Our last selfie. We've got divorced. From now on, we'll be good friends."

Ever since Surabhi Lakshmi  won the national award for best actress,audience noticed the absence of her husband in her interviews. So media guessed something is not going well betweem them.But the divorce news come as a surprise to many. Neither the actress not her ex-husband revealed reasons for divorce.

They were living separate for the last one and half years. She said in her facebook post that ' We have our own reasons for separation  and it is a very personal matter and not interested to share the reasons" . She requests everyone to respect her privacy and to support her during this difficult time.

Actress Surabhi Lekshmi married Vipin Sudhakar on 19 October 2014 (19-10-2014) at Sree Guruvayoorappan Temple in Thrissure in Kerala.  They were granted divorce by Calicut family court on Wednesday 12 July 2017.

Vipin Sudhakar is a cinematographer from Thalikkulam in Thrippayar.

 Surabhi Lakshmi won for the Malayalam film ‘Minnaminungu–the Firefly’ bagged best actress award at the 64 National Film Awards 2016 . She was the winner of special award for best actress in 47th Kerala State Film Awards  for 2017 for the same movie.theatre artist.  She is very popular as the character Pathumma, wife of Moosa,  in Media One serial M80 Moosa. Her unique sound and dialogue delivery in Caliccut accent were noted by the audience soon.

Surabhi won best Comedy Actor award for  her role in M80 Moosa at the Flowers TV comedy Awards 2016She has acted in more than 20 Malayalam Films, advertisements and Malyalam Serials. Comedy Challenge on Asianet launching on 13th July 2017

Comedy Challenge is a new comedy show on malyalam channel Asianet. The new show will be launched on 13th July 2017 at 9:30PM.

Comedy Challenge will be aired on Malayalam entertainment channel Asianet every Thursday at 9:30 PM. Actors Aju Varghese and Actress Aparna Balamurali will be the celebrity guest of the first episode on 13th July 2017.
