Janam TV New Malayalam Channel Launched on 19 April 2015

Janam TV- a news cum entertainment Channel was launched on 19 April 2015 at Bristol Ground, Willingdon Island in Kochi, Kerala. The channel launching function was inaugurated by Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar . Union minister for Information and broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore switched on the channel.

Film director Priyadarshan is the chairman of this channel.  This new channel provides programs in high definition and is expected to promote national interest. Unlike other news channel Janam TV offers news in Sankrit, first of its kind in Indian Television.

Indian Music League On Flowers TV | Music Reality Show

Flowers TV's Indian Music League is a Malayalam Music Reality and talent search show telecasted in 2015. The show was inaugurated by Actor Mohanlal and was launched on 17 April 2015. Indian Music League will be telecasted every Friday to Sunday at 9.00 PM.

Indian Music League is the first music reality show on Flowers TV- a new malayalam channel which started its broadcast on 12 April 2015. It is a very unique show compared to those already telecasted in malayalam channels.  The winner of the show is expected to receive a megaprize intended to use for a social need.

This music reality show offers competition between 14 teams representing 14 districts in Kerala. Each team will have 6 members with a music icon /established singer as the leader. In addition to multiple genre of songs, each team perform cultural and dance programs representative of each district. First Mangalam Film Awards 2015 : Winners List, Award Night Details

The first ever Mangalam Film Awards were declared on April 2015 First week.  Famous malayalam director/actor Balachandra Menon received life time achievement award. Mammootty won best actor Award for his performance in malayalam movie directed by Venu. Manju Warrier won best actress award for her performance as Nirupama in Roshan Andrews movie How Old Are You. Abrid Shine won best director award for the movie 1983 while Vellimoonga by Jibu Jacob was declared as the best film. The detailed list of first mangalam film awards are given below.

The awards will be distributed on 18 April 2015 in a function associated with the silver jubilee celebrations of Mangalam Daily. Onnum Onnum Moonu is a chat and game show on malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama with celebrities as guests. This show was launched on  07/04/2013 and is hosted by playback singer Rimi Tomy.  The show was conceived and initially directed by Yamuna. Now Jenson Zacharia is the director of the show. The show has completed more than 100 Episodes in April 2015.

Onnum Onnum Moonu is an  informal talk show featuring film /television artists,  actors and actresses, singer and celebrities from any field related to entertainment.
