Super Star Season 5 in 2014 on Amrita TV to start on August 4, 2014

The grand finale of the musical reality show on Malayalam Channel Amrita TV was held on Sunday,  January 2015 at 7: 00 PM . The season 2014 of Amrita TV's musical reality show 'Super Star is ws  launched on August 4, 2014 at  8.30 PM.  The Super Star season 2014 was for finding the best singer in  the age group from 15-25 years.

In Super Star Music Reality show 2014 on Amrita TV , twenty singers , including 13 girls and 7 boys will be competing for the title.

Five contestants only entered the  finale of the super star 2014.  Only three entered the final round of grand finale -Deepu, Dilraj and Sreeraj. The grand finale was held in front of huge crowd. Along the permanent judges, Actress and Singer Ramya Nambeesan served as celebrity Judge.

Ishtam Serial on Surya TV-Cast and Crew- Actors and Actresses

Ishtam is a new Malayalam Serial on Surya TV which is going to be aired on 4th August 2014.The family drama  will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 830 PM only on Surya TV.

This tele serial is the remake of the Hindi Serial Bade Achhe Lagte Hain premiered on Sony Entertainment Television India on 30 May 2011.Bade Achhe Lagte Hain telecasted its last episode (episode number 644) on 10 July 2014. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was dubbed in Telugu as Nuvvu Nachhavu and broadcasted on Gemini TV. Its tamil dubbed version was Ullam Kollai Poguthada telecasted on Polimer TV. Now it is the time of remake of the serial into Malayalam Language as Ishtam.

The story of the serial revolves round the  life of Akash and Ganga -their comparability issues, the role of fate & family and the struggles they face. Akash is  businessman tycoon in his early 40s from a well reputed and rich family. Ganga, in her thirtees, comes from a middle-class family. Ram agrees to marry Ganga to allow his younger and step sister Pooja and Karthik , Priya's brother to marry. Even though Akash and Ganga dislike each other initally, they begin to respect and love each other as time passes and when they spend more time with one another. The show explores the world of two different individuals who are unmarried due to some reasons and after some wrong communication . In the end,  Akash and Ganga's love wins and they succeed in removing all hurdles from their life. And they live happily ever after, with their family.

Vyshnav Gireesh is the Winner of Surya Singer Season 2 | Grand Finale on Surya TV- Complete Details

Vyshnav Gireesh is declared the winner of Season 2 of the Surya Singer Reality Show. He got the title trophy and Prize money of 2.5  Lakh Rupees. Judges of the show Singers Sujatha and Venugopal handed over the prizes to the contestants. The music reality show was conducted for kids aged between 6 to 12 years by Surya TV. There were six contestants in the final round. The grand finale was on 28 July 2014.  Surya Singer Season 2 was launched on 31 March 2014 and was telecasted every Monday to Friday at 800 PM


Surya Singer is a popular television reality show on Surya TV. The audition for Surya Singer Season 2 occured at various centres across Kerala on March 1-2, 2014. There were 15 contestants in the Show.

Rima Kallingal launched 'Mamangam the school of Dance'

Actress Rima Kallingal's dream project 'Mamangam the school of dance' is officially launched by now. The school of dance was inaugurated by actress and danseuse Manju Warrier at 10.30 am on 31 July 2014 in Café Papaya, Kochi.

The objective of Mamankam School of to provide each student an opportunity to explore, understand and cultivate his/her own style and character in dance.


The institute will train students in Indian dance forms Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi and in the martial art Kalaripayattu. It will also train Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art form, which combines dance, acrobatics and music. This art form is known for its quick and complex moves, kicks, spins and highly mobile techniques. There will be training in the Hip Hop dance form also. In addition to this there are programs like 'Udaya - Introduction to dance','Punarjani - Classical dance classes','Yoga - Morning weekday batches'.


Rima Kallingal will not be an instructor at the school. Instead she picked up a group of of established trainers, including Jaikishore Mosalikanthi, Padmavani, N Srikanth, Ashwathy V Nair, Nancy Joy, Dil Sagar, Sritheren and Narayani Anoop, Santhosh and Nancy Joy.

Awards: The serial wins the P. Sukumaran Memorial gold medal for best tele serial instituted by the Kaveri Film Critics Television Awards in 2004. Archana for the award for the best actress. The award for the best screenplay and videography also went to the serial.

Avicharitham won five awards at the Kerala State television awards for 2004 including the one for best serial. The Director of `Avicharitham,' K.K. Rajiv, won the award for the best director .
