Parasparam is a Malayalam Television Serial on Asianet directed by Sudheesh Shankar and produced by Ross Petals.
This is the remake of popular hindi serial Diya Aur Baati Hum broadcasted on Star Plus. The hindi version is written by Sumeet Mittal and Rohit Raj Goyal. Because of its popularity this serial is dubbed or remade into various Indian languages  like Tamil (as En Kanavan En Thozhan), Telugu (Ee Tharam Illalu), Bengala (Tomay Amay Mile) and Kannada (Akashadeepa)

Story Line:

This serial depicts the true love between a husband and wife. This is the story of how a husband becomes wife's strength and how he supports his wife to fulfill her dream in her life. The central characters are Deepti and Sooraj. Deepthi belong to a middle class family ended up in a marriage relation with Sooraj under strained circumstances. But her dream is to became an IAS officer. She couldn't neither complete her eduction before her marriage nor was in a position to dream about in her in laws house. But with the support of Sooraj she could complete her education and training for civil service. Watch the serial to learn about the ups and downs in her life on her path to achieve the dream of her life through her husbands support.

Manju Warrier coming back with Renjith's Mohanlal Movie

Actress Manju Warrier, who quit the film industry 14 years ago, is all set to return to the big screen opposite superstar Mohanlal. According to Renjith, who will be directing the film, the film's shooting will begin in November. The film is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor.

Her movie with Renjith -Mohanlal team ' Aaram Thamburan' was a super hit movie. Can we expect the same again?

Malayalee House on Surya TV was launched on 5 May 2013 and ended on 30 August 2013 with its grand finale declarations. In this show 16 contestant famous personalities in their respective fields are chosen to live together in a house fro 100 days isolated from the world and was monitored using hidden cameras. Each week, residents nominate one among them for eviction, and the resident who receives the most nominations has to leave the house. Malayalee House is a reality show based on the original Dutch Big Brother format developed by John de Mol. It is also loosely based on super hit reality show Bigg Boss with original format of the show first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands and it is followed in Hindi, Bengali and Kannada versions.

 Malayalee House shown was built exclusively for the show at a film studio in Hyderabad owned by actor Nagarjuna.The house is traditional, well-furnished and equipped, but all the rooms remain closed in the beginning of the show. The open area at the center of the house (Nadumuttam) is the center place for all Malayalee house activities. There is a kitchen, prayer room, and several bedrooms in the house. The house has no TV connection, no phones, and no Internet connection or clocks. Residents are overseen close circuit cameras full time. The house is installed with LCD displays/speakers through which instructions are given to the contestants. The cameras are hidden behind mirrors. Mamta Mohandas Divorced her husband Prajith Padmanabhan

Now, it is confirmed that Actress Mamtha Mohandas was granted divorce to her husband Prajith Padmanabhan by the Ernakumam family court on 19 August 2013.

 South Indian actress and playback singer Mamta Mohandas got married to her family friend Pregith Padmnabhan on December 28, 2011. He is a business man in Bahrain. But the couple has decided to divorce. Mamtha Mohandas revealed the divorce news to a national news paper. They got engaged on 11-11-2011 and the decision to divorce was declared on 12-12-2012.

According to Mamta Mohandas the decision was taken together by both of them and they were living separately for the past few months.To terminate the one year old married life, a joint divorce petition will be filed on January 2013.

She said that, she is happy having learnt that they both have two different personalities and realized that it will be difficult to live together further. The judgement of divorce petition has postponed to August 19th earlier. Because Mamtha was staying away from Kerala for her treatment.

There was lot of confusion and speculation about actress Sonarika Bhadoria being replaced by Pooja Bose to play the coveted role of Parvati in Nikhil Sinha's Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.

The very popular show from channel Life OK will replace its lead actress Sonarika Bhadoria who was playing the role of Goddess Parvati. From a long time producer of the serial Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev were in search for a strong replacement of the lead actress and now their search has been over. The main reason behind the replacement of Sonarika is her increasing demands for increment in her salary and tantrums. On the set of Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev Sonarika also always compared the treatment between herself and the lead character Mohit Raina who is playing the role of Mahadev.

Serial Actor Adithyan under arrest

Police on Wednesday(11 Jul 2013 ) held serial actor Adhithayan on a marriage cheating case. Adithyan was held on the basis of compliant by a woman and she stated that he duped her of Rs four lakh and gold by promising to marry her.

He was held from his house in Kollam on Wednesday and was shifted to Kannur. He is nephew of late actor Jayan and was known as junior Jayan. The complainant is a 21-year-old woman from Kakkad, Kannur.

 The engagement was took place on 2007 at Guruvayur temple and later on he accepted gold and money from time to time. This happened even in 2012. Recently only she came to know that he is already married.

Is Manju Warrier coming back with Sathyan Anthikkadu Film?

According to recent media reports Actress Manju Warrier who bid adieu from the Malayalam film industry at the peak of her career, is finally coming back.


After a hiatus of long 14 years, Manju Warrier was in spotlight recently  after she gave a kuchipudi performance at Guruvayoor. Soon after her performance, her ardent fans have started speculating on a possible come-back of their favourite actress. Though Manju had laughed off the news in her interview, reports say that she is indeed on a come-back trail.


She will be making a comeback in the film produced directed by Sathyan Anthikkadu. She had earlier acted in two Sathyan Anthikkadu Movies Irattakuttikalude Achan and  Thooval Kottaram.

Iqbal Kuttippuram, who scripted Arabikadha and Diamond Necklace, will script the movie. The shoot is expected to begin by June. Sathyan also says that unlike his earlier movies, this film will be set against an urban backdrop.Now, we hear that Fahad FAzil will be playing  the lead role in director Sathyan Anthikad's film.


Earlier there was gossips that she will be coming back with Kahanni Movie remake. But both she and her husband Actor Dileep denied it as rumour. Is this one also another rumour ? We dont know at this moment . Let us wait and see.

Actor/Director Sidharth Bharathan to Divorce wife Anju

Actor/Director Siddharth B, son of late Director Bharathan and Actress KPAC Lalitha filed divorce petition in family court in Trivandrum -Sources Said. According to the media reportes both Sidhharth and wife Anju were living separately for more than one year. The case was file on mutual consent and agreements were on sharing their properties.

Update: Family court approved their divorce petition on October 25, 2013.

Siddharth, son of renowned Malayalam director late Bharathan and National Award winning Malayalam actress K.P.A.C. Lalitha, tied the knot with actor Jagathy Sreekumar's niece Anju M. Das on at Guruvayur temple on December 12, 2008. Anju, a dentist, is the daughter of Jameela Mohan Das (Jagathi Sreekumars' sister) and granddaughter of playwright Jagathi N.K.

 Siddharth, debuted as an actor with director Kamal's blockbuster Malayalam film Nammal in 2000. After a short career in acting, this young hero stepped in his father's shoes, working behind the camera.He recent directed a movie Nidra.
