Monisha is the malayalam actress playing the leading role of Janaki (Jani kutty ) in top-rated serial Manjurukum Kalam on Mazhavil Manorama channel. She replaced Nikitha Rajesh , who played the teenage version of Janikutty in this serial. She is acting as Janikutty from episode 370 of the serial.

Manjurukum Kalam is the debut serial of Monisha on Malayalam Television. She plays the role of the heroine Janaki in her 20's, mainly during college days and is likely to portray the mature role as well.Manjurukum Kalam is the most popular serial on Mazhavil Manorama and is one of the top rated serial on Malayalam mini screen in October 2016. She was selected to the role through auditions. She had experience in acting through university level intercollegiate drama competitions in Kerala.

The success of the serial has given Monisha a chance to appear on Onnum Onnum Moonu Season 2 with Rimi Tomy as the host. She appeared on the show on December 4th, 2016 along with actresses Rini Raj and Rubi.

Janaki, daughter of Manakkal Govindankutty lost her mother Aswathy on child birth. After the death of Aswathy and his mother, Govindankutty  hands over her daughter to Vijayaraghavan, a distant relative and his wife Ratnamma. Janikkutty’s new found love and happiness vanishes when her step mother Ratnamma becomes blessed with her own baby. She was forced to live like a servant in her adopted family and was not allowed to continue her studies after 12th grade. However, Govindan kutty take her to his new family, including his second wife Vijayamma and his three kids.

Again fate was against Janaki, she was forced to leave that family after the death of her father Govindan kutty. Jani gets attacked was admitted to a hospital where she found her mothers old friend. Her grandfather Balakrisha Panikker then takes her to Jaani’s maternal home. She was welcomed by her relatives as expected.   Monisha plays the role of Janikutty at this stage. Janikutty however completes her studies and try for her dream to enter civil service with the help of her uncle. The story of the tele serial is about how Janikutty survive the hardships in her life and become a strong and successful person.

Many child artists played the role of Janikutty in this serial. Baby Kezia played the role of Janikutty's life as 3 years old. It was followed by Niranjana as 5 -year old. Greeshma portray the life of Jani in the next stage of the character as a 10-year old school girl.

Monisha hails from Bathery in  Vayanadu in Kerela. She is the daughter of P.K Shaji, principal of Thripunithura Sankrit higher second school and Indira, a housewife. She has two brothers Midhun Shah and Manek Sha.  Monish after completing under graduation from  Malabar Christian college , is currently doing Post Graduate course  St. Theresas college in Ernakulam. She also likes to join for B. Ed degree course after the completion of P.G.
Monisha had participated in many intercollegiate drama festivals during her college days. She likes reading and traveling and aspires to become film actress if she gets good offers.  She got the role of Janaki through auditions held in Trivandrum . One of her close friend send her photos to the call for new actress in this serial and got selected. She is very happy that she got a bold character role with lot of virtues, unlike many other women characters on Malayalam mini screen.

Alina Padikkal started her career  as television anchor through the program Butterflies on Malayalam Channel Asianet. She won Kerala State Television Award in 2005 for the above program and establish as a versatile TV host. She later hosted many shows and programs on  various malayalam channels including Asianet Plus, Kairali TV, Surya TV and Kiran TV. She gained much popularity through the program Aarppo Irro , reality show for television artists. She co-costed the show with Baiju Jospeh. She debuted as the heroine of tele-serial through Bharya  on Asianet directed by V.K Gireeshkumar under Risesun banners. In this serial she plays the role of Nayana, wife Nandan-sond of Viswanthan and Jayaprabha.  Soon after her marriage with Nandan, wicked Nayana creates problems in their house, with the support of her parents and brother. The character is Nayana, with shades of grey, is already noted by the malayalam audiences.

Alina Padikkal was born on 1st December 1993 to Mr  Philippos Padikkal and Bindu Philippose from Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. After completing her schooling from Holy Angels’ ISC School Nanthancode, Thiruvananthapuram, she  took graduation in Media Studies from Christ University, Bangalore, Karnataka . Nayana is a women biker and was featured on an article in Metroplus of The hindu news paper.

Malavika Wales is an Indian Actress working mostly in south Indian films. She is also a television actress, dancer and model. She is known currently to Malayali audience as Ponnambili, the leading character of a malayalam serial on Mazhavil Manorama

Career
She started her career as a dancer. She is trained in classical dance since  six-year-old under maestros such as Kalamandalam Kshemavathy and Kalamandalam Prasanna Unni. She has received formal training in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattom and Kuchipudi. Malavika debuted into entertainment industry through a documentary Ayisha directed by Lenin Rajendran while studying in Class VI.

The turning point in her life was Miss Kerala contest in 2009. She participated in the contest at the age of 16, entered the third round of competition and won the title Miss Beautiful Eyes at the contest.
