Malayalam Channel Asianet is all set to telecast their prestigious Film Awards. The 21st Asianet Film Awards 2019 is coming soon on Asianet. The promos of the Award show is going rounds on the channel. This program is also one of the top rated show on Malayalam Television as of now.
The 21st Asianet film awards are for films released in 2018. The promos reveals the glitter glamour of the south Indian film Industry at the show. This most awaited awards are given every year for artistic and technical excellence on Malayalam movies. Awards are presented in nearly 32 categories every year at the Asianet film awards. The date and time of telecast of the show will announced soon The full videos will be added to hotstar following the telecast.
The asianet film awards show 2018 was conducted in Angamaly Adlux International Convention & Exhibition Centre. This year it is held at FACT ground.

Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kottayam Nazeer, Saju Navodaya, Johnny Antony, Rajamani, Remo Saundar, etc performed comedy skits. While dance performances were done by Anu Sithara, Isha Talwar, Shamna Kasim, Durga Krishna, Nikhila Vimal, Shane Nigam, Anish Rehman, Honey Rose etc Stephen Devid ,Bikram Ghosh, M Jayacha Dran, Vijay Yesudas eniriched the show with their music.

Award ceremony of Asianet Film Awards 2019
The Asianet Film Awards organized to honour the best performances and performances of Malayalam cinema was held on March 20 at Kalamassery FACT ground. Mohanlal won the Best Actor, Manju Warrier as Best Actress and Tovino Thomas Performer of the Year awards. Prithviraj and Aishwarya Lakshmi are the popular actor and actress. Sudani from Nigeria is the best movies.Othere winners are Jayaram as Golden Star, Popular Tamil Actor Trisha, Rehman as Best Villain Kayamkulam Kochunna is the popular film.Sreekumaran Thampi received Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of Malayalam cinema.
Another major attraction was the trailer launch of Lucifer Cinema, the first venture of Prithviraj, to be released on March 28. The trailer lounge was made by Asianet MD MD K Madhavan. Mohanlal, director Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Murali Gopi and Producer Antony Perumbavoor participated in the Louise Trailers Launch. Peranp Cinema was honored with awards in Tamil and Malayalam films. Mammootty and other stars of Tamil Film Peranbu were honoured at the function.
