17th Asianet Film Awards 2015 - On 11th January 2015 at Willingdon Island, Kochi

The 17th season of Asianet Film Awards sponsored by Ujala and powered by Nirapara will be held in January 2015.  Asianet film awards is one of the most watched film awards in Kerala. The 17th Asianet film awards are for films released in 2014.

These awards are given every year for artistic and technical excellence on  malaylam movies. Awards are presented in nearly 32 categories every year at the Asianet film awards.

Winners of Music India Grand Finale on Asianet

The grand finale of Music India, the reality show to find the best music band in Kerala was held on 28 December 2014. Band Azazeel and Band Bakery Junction were declared the winners of the show and they share the cash prize and trophy for the winners.  The grand finale witnessed spectacular performance by four finalists.  The show was launched on 25 September 2014 with 12 band selected after a tough audition  rounds. The details of the  bands were provided in our site earlier.  The show has completed 26 episodes  before the grand finale.

Deepak Dev, Andrea Germiah, Gopi Sunder, George Peter and Shivamani were the judges of the show. Renjini Haridas hosted the music India Reality show.  The complete list of winners of music India reality show are provided below

Actor Anoop Menon married Shema Alexander-Wedding Photos

Malayalam Actor , script writter and lyricist Anoop Menon married his long term friends Shema Alexander on 27 December 2014. The simple wedding ceremony was held at Anoop Menon's Flat in presence of his close relatives and friends.

Anoop is the son of o P. Gangadharan Nair and Indira of Balussery Parambathu Veedu in Kozhikode. Shema is the daughter of Prince Alexander and late Lilly Alexander of Prince Park in Thottumukkathu, Pathanapuram in Kollam District. Shema dont have any film background.

Anoop Menon conveyed the marriage news on his facebook page as follows

"Getting married to my longtime friend Shema Alexander today morning 7.30 am at my home...you all have been the pillars of support all through my life...humbly seeking your blessings and prayers...love you all..."

We wish the couple a very happy married life.

Azhar Sulfikar is the winner of Kutty Patturumal 2 Grand Finale on Kairali TV

Azhar Sufikar,from Kallambalam in Thiruvananthapuram, is the title winner of Kutty Patturumal Season 2 on Kairali TV. He won the First prize among the 6 finalist of the competition.

The grand finale of Kutty Patturumal 2 on Kairali TV was held on 21st  December  2014 at Malappuram Kottakkal MSP ground , Kerala. In addition to the young contestants and judges celebrities from movie and music world attended the finale, including Najim Arshad, Sarayu and music director Gopi Sundar. KV Abootty, Gopi Sundar, Najim Arshad & Shabnam Riyaz were in the judging panel of the grand finale. They announced the winners. Varada was the anchor of grand finale of Kutty Patturumal 2.

Kutty Patturumal 2 the season 2 of the music talent search and reality competition show on Kairali TV for Mappila pattukkal or Muslim songs-Muslim folklore rendered in colloquial dialect, which is very popular in the Northern malabar region of Kerala. The show was for kids in the age group 8-15 years.

Music India Grand Finale on Asianet on 28 December 2014

Music India - the new music reality show on Asiaet Television to find the best music band has reached is finals. The grand finale of music India will be held on 28 December 2014 at 6.30 PM on Asianet. Four music bands will compete for the title in the grand finale. They were selected from 12 bands.

Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran Season 3 launching on 29 December 2014 on Asianet

Asianet has announced the launch date of the third season of the popular quiz based show Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran (NAK). This Malayalam language quiz reality show is hosted by actor Suresh Gopi. The season 3 of the show show will be launched on 29 December 2014 Monday at 8:00 PM. The game show -Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran Season 3-  will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 800 PM. The show will also be available on Asianet Middle East.

 The season 1 of the show was from 9 April 2012 to 23 August 2012.The Second season ended on Second Season was from 4 March 2013 to 18 July 2013.

Actor Kishore Satya- Malayalam TV Serial /Film Actor & Anchor | Biography

Kishore Satya is  an Indian actor mostly working in the malayalam entertainment industry. He has worked as  RJ, assistant director,  malayalam television serial and film actor. He is a known face in both television and cinema industry for more than 18 years. Kishore Satya started his career as assistant director before taking up his roles as actor and anchor. He  is very passionate about acting in films and serials. He also enjoys his role as anchor of various shows. Kishore is also a member of ATMA (Association of Television Malayalam Actors) cricket team.

Kishore started his career in the visual media  as the assistant director of malayalam movies Kanjirapally Kariyachan (1996), Adivaram (1997) directed by Jose Thomas.

Kishore worked as RJ of  Umm al Quwain  HUM FM Radio Station in UAE with its head quarters in Dubai  from 1998- 2004. It was the first of its kind telecast of malayalam programs from Dubai.

Kishore debuted as malayalam film actor through a villian role in  'Youth Festival (2004) directed by Jose Thomas. Kishore started his role as VJ in 2001  for a Television program on Kairali TV by Shibu Chakravarthy on Dubai shopping festival - ‘Vyaparangalude Mahotsavam'.  He is already established as a presenter for many stage  shows  and TV Shows.  He  became  very popular among  male anchors in malayalam. He  was noted by the malayali audience as the anchor through  Amrita TV reality show for women, Vanitha Ratnam Season 1 and 2 in 2008.  Later he hosted asianet reality show Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Njanum , reality show for TV actors in 2013.

He also hosted many award and state shows. They are Asianet Film Awards (2005,2011 and 2013),    Amrita TV film awards (2007 & 2010), amma gulf awards(2009, 2011), world malayali council awards(2010 & 2011), Jai hind film awards (2012 &2013), Asianet television awards(2013) , Chithra pournami (2011) to feliciate Singer K.S,Chitra , 92.7 Big FM music aawards (2013) etc. He also hosted Miss Kerala pageant in 2010.

Kishore Satya as Malayalam Television Actor

Kishore debuted as a Malayalam Television actor though Asianet serial Manthrakodi directed by A.M.Nazeer telecasted during October 2005-2006. The portrayal of the character Aravind C Menon in that serial made Kishore very popular among malayali audiences. It was followed by Kairali TV serial Kanalpoovu (February 2007 -July 2007) directed by Melilaa Rajasekhar. He later acted in Amriatv serial The Officer (2008 )directed by G.S.Vijayan  and Mazhavil Manorama serial Kadhayile Rajakumari (2011) written and directed by K.K.Rajeev. Now he is playing the role of Dr Balachandran in Asianet Serial Karuthamuthu (2014) by Praveen Kadakkavur.  This new serial has already got top ratings and is a hit among family audiences.

In addition to this he has also acted in telefilms and short serials including Annayude Lillipookkal, Neermathalathinte Pookkal and Kazhcha.

Personal life 

Kishore  is originally from Mallappally, Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. He is the son of Sathyavan Panikkar and late K.M  Omanamma. He has a brother, Abhilash.  Kishore is a graduate in commerce (Bcom). He married actress Charmila 1995 &is divorced on 1999. He later married Pooja from Kottarakkara in December 2007. They have a son, Niranjan. Kishore and his family is currently settled in Thriruvananthapuram.
