Idea Star Singer Fame Nikhil Sivakumar and Ambika Gopalakrishnan got married in October 2012. Both of them were participants of Idea Star Singer 6. Their engagement was on June 7, 2012.

Nikhil Sivakumar from Bangalore is a graduate in engineering and works in IT related field.

Ambika Gopalakrishnan is from Ernakulam .She has completed her M.Sc. in Marine Biology from Cochin University of Science and Technology. Ambika is the daughter of Indu Gopalakrishnan and K. Gopalakrishnan. Her sister Lakshmi Gopalakrishnan is a Chartered Accountant.

Ambika was the winner many music competition  in Carnatic music competition in the All Kerala Bhavan’s Youth Festival for many years. She was also adjudged winner in Carnatic Music in the M. G. Samvritha Sunil & Akhil Jayaraj's Grand Wedding Reception photos Samvrutha Sunil's fairytale wedding saw a befitting finale on Tuesday evening, as a grand wedding reception was held at a popular venue in the city(Nov, 6, 2012). While the bride looked ethereal in a heavily embroidered multi-coloured lehenga, the groom looked classy in a simple off-white sherwani.

The event saw a long list of celebrities from the film industry dropping in to wish the young couple. We spotted some of the leading M'wood stars such as Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dileep, indrajith and Kavya Madhavan at the do. Actresses Gauthami Nair, Mamta Mohandas, Ann Augustine, Bhama and Anushree looked gorgeous in saris while Kavya and Meera Nandan opted for lehengas for the evening.We also spotted actors Kaviyoor Ponnamma, KPAC Lalitha, Manianpilla Raju, Manoj K Jayan as well as singers Sujatha, Chithra Iyer and Gayathri at the do.

Malayalam actress Samvrutha Sunil to marry Akhil ,a Malayali engineer settled in U.S.A, on November 1, 2012. She registered her marriage with Akhil in January 2012 for visa purpose.Akhil Jayaraj, works with The Walt Disney company in the US.The wedding will take place at Kannur Cantonment's Vastava Cliff house.

Akhil Raj, son of Jayaraj and Deepa is originally from Kozhikode. The groom-to-be arrived in his hometown a few days before the wedding. The marriage proceedings, that will happen at Kannur's Vastava Maidan will be monitored by the pujaris of Munishwaran Kovil. The Muhurtham is between 10:30 am and 11:00 am tomorrow.

 A special wedding reception party has also been arranged on November 6 in Meridian hotel in Ernakulam for the friends and close associates of the newly weds. Prominent personalities from the film fraternity are expected to attend the grand reception. Samvrutha Sunil will accompany her husband to California on November 21st. The actress will bid adieu to her eight-year-long career in films after marriage.

In a recent interview with a Malayalam magazine, Vineeth Sreenivasan spoke about his girlfriend named Divya Narayanan and their eight year long courtship. Divya was Vineeth's junior at a college in Chennai where they studied. Divya originally hails from Payyannur in Kannur  though she is brought up in Chennai.

Serial actress Sreekala has married Vipin on May 5, 2012 at 11.40 am. The Venue was at Annapoorneswari temple, Cherukunnam, Kanur. Sreekala is the ‘mansaputhri’ of Kerala house holds after her challenging role in serial ‘Entae Manasputhri’. Marriage was done in a simple manner. There are no other people except family members.
