Flowers Entertainment channel has launched  a new serial Nandanam from August 3 , 2020 onwars . This new television serial is aired Monday to Saturday at 7:00 PM. Another comedey serial 'Chakkapazham also will be launched soon. 

Nandanam is produced by Rakhunath and directed by Dileep  Thavanoor. This serial is an extension of the malayalam movie Nandanam by Renjith starring Prithviraj and Navya Nair in lead roles.  The plot of the serial revolves round the childhood days of Balamani, the central character of Nandanam movie. This serial is based on the true devotion of Lord Krishna and temple of Guruvayoor.  Balamani is a devotee of Guruvayoorappan. Her strong believe in Lord Krishna and saves from struggles.

Actor Shaji Thilakan passed away

Shaji Thilakan, son of late south Indian actor Thilakan, passed away in Kochi on Wednesday (11 March 2020) . He was 56. Shaji Thilakan was undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments at Amrita Hospital. He is survived by his wife Indira and daughter Abhirami S. Thilakan.

 The deceased, who was born as the eldest son of Thilakan and his first wife Shantha. Thilakan and Santha had three children: sons Shaji Thilakan, Shammi Thilakan and Shobi Thilakan. His co-siblings are Shibu Thilakan,  Dr. Sonia Thilakan and Sophia Ajith from Thilakan's  second marriage with Sarojam.

 Shaji Thilakan was an employee at Appollo Tyres in Kochi. Unlike his father Thilakan, Shaji did not make a dent as an actor in the Malayalam film industry. He had acted in unreleased 1998 movie Sagara Charithram. However, he made a name as a television actor with his performance in daily soap opera Aniyathi on Mazhavil Manorama Channel, in which he played a negative role. His role as Pookkadan Paulose was well received.

Veena Nair-Malayalam and Television actress got eliminated from Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2. It was on March 7-8 Episode with Mohanlal. She completed  63 days in Bigg Boss.

In Biggboss, Veena Nair  got chance to exhibit her multi talented personality. She showcased her talents in Ottan Thulla, Chakyan koothu, acting, music ...etc..

She was nominated for elimination for seven times. In this episode Alasandra, Sujo, and Abhirami-Amritha, Veena and Saju Navodaya were nominated. Initially, Alasandra, Sujo, and Abhirami-Amritha got the 'saved' card from the lot. Later, Veena and Shaji were seen in the final round of the elimination. But Veena got the 'evicted' card and Mohanlal declared that the former is leaving the house. She left the house with a good vibe.

In her interaction with Mohanalal, She said "I never thought that I had this much anger in me. I am happy to leave the game because the atmosphere inside the house is changing and it will be tough for me to cope up with it," She also added that in real life she didnt get a chance to get angry and to cry because of her family.

Actress Veena Nair -Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2

Veena's best friend Arya was spotted in tears and she apologises to Veena for using the power card.  Veena meets Rajith and tells him that the latter has some similarities with her father. She also told him that she loves him very much. In another video following elimination  Veena said that he thinks rejith, Ary, Saju and Fukru deserves to be in the final.

Veena was considered one of the strongest contestants who has the potential to reach the finals. But many fights and underwent emotional turmoil as part of the show went against her. She said that she is look forward to meet her family, especially her husband and son.
