The winners of 9th Asianet Television Awards 2016 were declared in a glittering and star-studded function on 16 June 2016  at AdLux Convention Centre, Angamali, Cochin. Actor Nivin Pauly was the chief guest of the function attended by eminent personalities from the movie and Television world. The show will be telecasted on 25 and 26 June 2016 from 07.00 PM.

The show, which include many stellar performance from the stars of mini-screen, will be re-telecasted again due to its popularity among malayali audiences. The main objectives of this award is to honor and encourage the mini screen talent of Asianet. The awards were distributed in more than 30 categories, including best actor, actress and best serial. Malayalam actors Mukesh & Jagadeesh got “ Golden Star Award “ for their notable offerings to Television Industry. Ramesh Babu, the producer of Sthreedhanam serial, receivedhonor for ahieving the record of longest running serial in Malayalam Television history.

Chinthavishtayaya Seetha-New Malayalam Serial Coming Soon On Asianet

Chinthavishtayaya Seetha is the new serial coming soon on Asianet. The malayalam channel Asainet launched promo of their new tele series Chinthavishtayaya Seetha. The details on lauch date, telecast time, cast and crew are not yet out.

Chinthavishtayaya Seetha resembeles the name of hit movie Chinthavishtayaya Shamala directed by Sreenivasan. The new family drams showcase acting talents of many new comers. The new sopa opera is going to replace Karuthamuthu, a hit serial that is approaching its climax episode.

Naga Kanyaka -New Malayalam Serial on Surya TV starts on 20th June 2016

Naaga Kanyaka is the new Malayalam Serial coming soon on Malayalam Channel Surya TV. This serial falls under the category of supernatural fantasy thriller. It is the malayalam dubbed version of super hit hindi serial Naagin — Mohabbat Aur Inteqaam Ki Dastaan aired on colors TV. It was produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner Balaji Telefilms.

Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan are the main actor in lead roles of this thriller show and Sudha Chandran plays the main role in negative shade. Mouni Roy is popular among Malayali audience through her role as Sathi in hit serial Kailasanthan on Asianet.

Tanushree Dasgupta is the creative director of this tele series. Naagakanyaka is directed by Santram Varma,Chandni,Niraj,Lalit Marathe and Rakesh Chowdhury Creative director  Naagakanyka ( or Naagin) story is wriiten by a team of writers Mrinal Jha,R M Joshi,Neha Singh,Ankush Nagpal based on the concept by Seema Shrivastav. Screenplay of the series is by R M Joshi,Neha Singh,Shivani Shah,Ankush Nagpal while the dialogues are by Rekha Modi.

It will add to the list of dubbed TV serials currently telecasting on Surya TV including  Mahaveera Hanuman, Balika vadhu, Sitara, Vaalsalyam and more.  Surya TV is now behind Asianet, Mazhavil Manorma and Flowers TV in BARC ratings. In addition to this, the rating of most of the Malayalam serials on Surya TV is very poor. This new serial may be an attempt to improve ratings.

Mizhi Randilum -New TV Serial on Surya TV from 13th June 2016

Mizhi Randilum is a new Malayalam serial on Surya TV. The new serial will be launched on June 13, 2016, Monday at 7:30 PM. The series falls in the category of horror thrillers from the promos of the tele series on Surya TV.The new family drama  will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 7.00 PM

Mizhi Randilum is directed by Manju Dharman. Popular actor Boban Alumoodan , Divya Viswanath ( sthreedhanam serial fame), Rebecca Santhosh, Richard and many new comers are part of  this new tele drama.
