Sree Murugan (or Murukan) is the Hindu deity Murugan, son of Lord Shiva and Parvathy. Anirudh is the name of the actor who givens life to Murugan .Sasindhar pushpalingam act as Lord Shiva and Mapillai serial fame Indira Priyadharshini gives life to Parvathi.

The Tamil Nadu State government has announced film awards for six years staring from 2009 to 2014. The awards were decided by a Jury lead by former judge A. Raman . The awards are given in various categories including Best Movie, Best Director, Best Scriptwriter, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Villain, Best Comedian, Best Character Artist, Best Comedian, Best Villain, Best Child artist, Best Music director , Best Dialogue Writer etc.. The Tamil Nadu State Films Award were discontinued in 2008. But recent efforts by Actor Vishal, the  chairman of the producers council of the Tamil Cinema recently requested the government to reinstate the awards. State film awards is a great honour to film artists and technicians. The announcement came as a surprise

Bigg Boss Tamil - is a reality show on Vijay Television/Star Vijay. This is the Tamil-language version of the reality TV programme Bigg Boss broadcast in India. The original format of the show is first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands and it is followed in Hindi, Bengali and Kannada versions. Now it is turn of Tamil viewers to watch the show.

The Endemol owned format of the show Big brother has been adopted by Indian channels. The hindi Version of the show   BIGG BOSS with Salman playing host has completesd 10 successful seasons in Hindi. The regional language versions were also a great success in Kannada and Bengali.

Format of BIGG BOSS -In Bigg Boss, the actions of the participants will be monitored in 100 episodes. The show attempts to provide a look into the behavior of celebrities under surveillance. Prithika is the winner of Vijay TV Super Singer Junior 5. The grand finale of fifth season of Vijay TV Super Singer Junior was held on Saturday, 17 June 2017 at D.B. Jain College, OMR, Chennai.

Prithika is declared as the winner from top five finalists after an intense competition for the title at the grand finale Vijay TV Super Singer Junior Season 5 was launched on 26th November 2016 and the episodes were aired every Saturdays and Sundays 7.00 PM. The contestants from age between 6 – 14 were selected though audition held in various cities. and thirty contestants were selected to participate in the music reality show Super Singer Junior 5. Vishwaprasad Ganagi is  the title winners of SA RE GA MA PA Li'l Champs - Zee Tamil, a music talent search reality show. The grand finale of SA RE GA MA PA Li'l Champs 2017, is the popular music reality show on Zee Tamil Television was held on 28th April 2017 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai.

 SA RE GA MA PA Li'l Champs 2017 is a music reality launched on Zee Tamil Channel to showcase the music talents of kids aged between 5-14 years of age.  The first episode was telecasted on 24th December 2016. The grand finale was held on 28th April 2017 with five top contestants and the final episodes of grand finale were aired on May 7th, 2017 at 4-6 PM on Zee Tamil.

Irdhi Suttru Niharika, Vishwa Prasath, Dishadana, Rakthash, Ann Benson were the top finalists and the winner is selected by a jury  Karthik, Vijay Prakash, Sujatha Mohan. Archana hosted the grand finale. Popular Tamil actor Jeeva was the special celebrity guest of the grand finale. The winners of show are given below.
