The award for best film was won by  ‘Thondimuthalum Drisakshiyum'  while Dileesh Pothen won the award for the best director for the same movie. Mohanlal won the best actor award for his role in ‘Mundirivallikal Thalirkkumbol’ and Parvathy Thiruvoth for the best female actress for the film ‘ Take Off”. Biju Menon & Miya received the popular award for their outstanding performance in various movies released in 2017.

 The 20th Asianet film awards are for films released in 2017. The award function for the year 2018 was held at at Adlux Convention Centre , Angamali ,Cochin on May 20th, 2018.  This much awaited event was visual treat to the viewers with stars adding glamour and glitz along with wonderful performance on stage by celebrities.

20th Asianet Film Awards 2018 Show details
Actor Kamal Hassan was the chief guest of the show. Nedumudi venu was honored with life achievement award.  Thondimuthalum Dridasakshiyum directed by Dileesh Pothen received best film award while Mahesh Narayanran director of Take off got best director award. Fahadh Fazil got bet actor award for his performance in Thondimuthalum Dridasakshiyum while Parvathy got best actress award for Take off . Actors Dulqhar Salman, Kunjacko Boban , Tovino thomas were also honored by popular awards as listed below. The new show Bigg Boss Malayalam hosted by Mohanlal was also lauched during the show. Jayaram was honored for his 30 years long outstanding film career in various languages. 

Chief Minister of Kerala attended the function of 25th year celebrations. Associated with its 25th anniversary celebrations, Asianet donated of `6 crore to Chief Minister’s Nava Kerala fund- special fund of educational development and health care. Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has been received from Star India South Managing director K Madhavan in the presence of Mammootty, Kamal Haasan, Innocent , Madhu, Nedumudi Venu and Jayaram.


These awards are given every year for artistic and technical excellence on  malaylam movies. Awards are presented in nearly 33 categories every year at the Asianet film awards. This include awards for Best actor, actress, director, film, best supporting actor, actress, singer (male and female), youth icon, script writer, lyricist, music director etc are some of the categories.

Malayalam Channel Asianet is all set to telecast their prestigious Film Awards. The 20th Asianet Film Awards 2018 is coming soon on Asianet. The promos of the Award show is going rounds on the channel. This program is also one of the top rated show on Malayalam Television as of now.

 The 20th Asianet film awards are for films released in 2017. The promos reveals the glitter glamour of the south Indian film Industry at the show. Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018 -Winners List

The winner of Flowers Indian Film Awards 2018 was honored and awards were  distributed in a colorful event on 31st March 2018. Take off is the best film , Indrans won awards for best actor and Manju Warrier as best actress. Flowers TV  Channael telecasted their 2018 edition of Flowers Indian Film Awards show on April 7th and April 8th 2018 at 7 PM.

The awards were selected by a jury including eminent personalities from Indian Film Industry.   Midhun Ramesh and Aswathy Sreekanth hosted the show. Many celebrities including Mohanlal, Hariharan, Andrea, Jackie Shroff, Manju Warrier, Shanti krishna, Tonvino Thomas, Neduimudi Venu, Jayaram, Sreekumaran Thampi etc. were actively present during the colorful award ceremony.

 Indrans won best actor award for Alorukkam .He was also the  winner of Best actor award in Kerala State Film Awards 2017.  Manju Warrier won the best actress award for Aami and Udaharanam Sujatha. 26th Kerala State Television Awards 2017- Winners List | Nilavum Nakshatrangalum best serial

The winners of the 26th Kerala State Television Awards 2017 were announced by Minister for Cultural Affairs A K Balan  at PR Chamber on 24th April 2018.  The award were decided by Kerala Chalachitra Academy by a Jury in feature and non-feature category. For the year 2017, Rakhunath Paleri, K Kunjikrishnan and A Chandrasekhar were the chairperson of the jury in on feature, non feature and article category, respectively.

Nilavum Nakshatrangalum aired on Amrita TV directed by G R Krishnan has bagged the Kerala State Television Award 2017 for the best tele-serial.  Madhupal won the award for best director for his serial  Kali Gandaki. Best actor were bagged by Krishnan Blalakrishnan for Kaali Gandaki . For  her role in the serial Neermathalam, actress Amala Gireeshan won the best actress award. Manjal Prasadam on Flowers TV won the second best serial award. Best second actress and actor for Gouri Krishnan and Vijay Menon, respectively for Nilavum Nakshatrangalum.

The  best music director for Kallara Gopan, best cameraman for Noushad Shereif, best scriptwriter for GR Indugopan, best art director for Ajith Krishna, best dubbing artiste (male) for S Radhakrishnan,  best dubbing artiste (female) for Parvathy S Pakash were the other winners. 41st Film Critics Award 2018 in Malayalam Announced: Winners List

The winners of 41st Film Critics Award 2018 in Malayalam were announced.The Kerala Film Critics Association Awards are presented annually by the Kerala Film Critics Association to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Malayalam language film industry of India

The films are selected by the members of the association for the movies released in 2017. The winner of the association awards for the best film will receive a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh, and the second best film, best director, best actor and best actress will be presented Rs. 25,000 each

Thondimuthalum Dridasakshiyum by Dileesh Pothern won best film award. Fahad fazil won Best  Actor for this movie and Sajeev Pazhoor won the award for the Best Screenplay. Best actress award was bagged by Manju Warrier for her performance in Udaharanam Sujatha. Jayaraj won the award for the best director.  Music Director M. 65th National Film Awards 2018 : winners list

The winners of 65th National Film Awards were announced on Friday, 13 April by a 10-member jury headed by renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.inod Khanna was posthumously given the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema, late actress Sridevi won the Best Actress award for her performance in MOM. Actor Riddhi Sen won the Best Actor award for Bengali film Nagarkirtan.

Village Rockstars (Assamese) won Best Feature film award while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had turned out to be the biggest hit at the domestic box-office, won the award for Best Popular Film .Bhayanakam directed by Jayaraj (Malayalam) won the award for best director. the film is in  the 'navarasa' seriesbased on  "Kayar" written by the late writer Thakazhi Sivasankarapillai.

Amit Masurkar’s Newton, which was sent as India’s official entry to the Oscars, was named the Best Hindi film. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum by Dileesh Pothen won the award for best Malayalam film . Fahad fazil won Best Supporting Actor for this movie and Sajeev Pazhoor won the award for the Best Screenplay. Actress Parvathy received special mention for her performance in Take off. ake Off also won the award for the Best Production Design. Malayalam Film, Bhayanakam won the awards for Best Direction (Jayaraj), Best Adaptive Screenplay (Jayaraj.) and best cinematography (Nikhil S Praveen)

Singer KJ Yesudas won the award for Best Playback Singer Male for Poyi Maranjakaalam from Viswasapoorvam Mansoor and Shashaa Tirupati won the award for Best Playback Female for Vaan Varuvaan from Kaatru Veliyidai.
