Mazhavil Manorama Television Channel is going to launch the season 2 of their popular dance reality show Idea D4 Dance.  This program aims to showcase the talent of contestant and eventually find the best dancer.  The sponsors of the show are Idea Cellular Limited.

The season 1 of the Idea D4Dance is currently airing in Mazhavil Manorama  every Friday to Sunday at 8.00 P.M.

The judges Neerav Bavlecha , Prasanna Master, Priyamani  and anchors Jewel&  Govind Padmasoorya are most likely to continue in the Idea D4 Dance Season 2

Aswamedham 2014 Season By GS Pradeep on Kairali TV to begin on 6 October 2014

Aswamedham, the reverse quiz show on Kairali will be launched on October 6, 2014. The new season is produced by Santhosh Pali. Grand Master G.S. Pradeep is presenting this show. Kairali started the game show Ashwamedham in 2002, it completed 500 episodes in the 1st season and entered Limca Book of Records.

The  auditions of Ashwamedham 2014  was held at various centers in Kerala.

The new season of the  show will have three stages - Yaagam, Yajnam and Rajasooyam.

Unlike earlier seasons the contestants can pick places, personalities, or events for the competition. The number of questions asked by the grand master will also be fewer than earlier seasons. In the earlier seasons nearly 20 questions were asked to find the answer.

Ente Manasaputhri is a Malayalam television Serial aired on Asianet during July 2007 to May 2010. The climax episode of the serial was telecasted on  21 May 2010.

Theme of the serial
Ente Manasaputhri is the television adaptation of the story 'Punarjanmam' by K.K. Sudhakaran published in manorama weekly. The story revolves round the two orphans -Sofia and Gloria-with very difference nature and temperaments. Sofia (played by Sreekala) is very calm and simple whereas Gloria (played by Archana)is ambitious and extrovert. The serial was very popular among audience that time . Actor Anoop Menon's Marriage plans revealed

Malayalam Actor , script writter  and lyricist Anoop Menon recently revealed in an interview that he will get married to some one who has no connection with film industry. He plans to get married within an year.


The 38 year -old actor entered the tinsel town when he was 26 years old through the movie Kattu chembakam.


He has acted in many malayalam TV serials and in more than 50 films. He has written scripts for many movies including Pakal nakshathrangal, Beautiful etc .

His upcoming movies are She Taxi with Kavya Madhavan, Pavada with Shobhana & Prithviraj and Dolphins starring Suresh Gopi.


Earlier there was gossips on his marriage with actress Bhavana, his co-star in the movie Angry babies. But both of them denied all the rumours and confirmed that they are just friends.

First Images of Mars from Mangalyaan(MOM) and MAVEN Released

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)'s   Mars Orbiter Mission (Mangalyaan) has successfully reached Mars Orbit on September 24, 2014.  The main objective of this project was to reach Mars and then explore Mar's Atmosphere.


Milestones of this mission

•  India is the  first country in the world to reach Mars in its first attempt.
•  India is the fourth country to reach Mars following US, Europe and Russia
•  India becomes the only Asian country to reach Mars
•  MOM cost $74 million , it is one-ninth of the cost of NASA's $671 million Maven mission, which also put its spacecraft into Mars orbit this week (21 September 2014)

Following the success of the mission, MOM captured the images of the Mars taken from MOM . ISRO released  the first images of Mars. They are given below.

NASA of USA also released the first obeservations from MAVEN. MAVEN is the first spacecraft dedicated to exploring the tenuous upper atmosphere of Mars.

MAVEN Spacecraft Returns First Mars Observations

 NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft has obtained its first observations of the extended upper atmosphere surrounding Mars.

The Imaging Ultraviolet Spectrograph (IUVS) instrument obtained these false-color images eight hours after the successful completion of Mars orbit insertion by the spacecraft at 10:24 p.m. EDT Sunday, Sept. 21, after a 10-month journey.

Oscars : 'Liar's Dice' by Geethu Mohandas is India's official entry for the best foreign language film

National Award winning Hindi Film ' Lias Dice' will be India's offical entry to the Oscars for the best film in foreign language category at the 87th Academy Awards. Liar's Dice, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Geetanjali Thapa, tells the story of a young mother who takes her daughter to Delhi in search of her missing husband.


'Liar's Dice'  has been chosen by a 12-member jury appointed by the Film Federation of India , and out of a record number of 30 shortlisted films. The film is India's Official Entry for the Best Foreign Language Film for the 87th Academy Awards scheduled to take place on February 22, 2015.

This movie directed by Malayalam actress Geethu Mohandas has won two awards at the 61st National Film Awards 2013-Best Actress for Geetanjali Thapa and Best Cinematography for Rajeev Ravi.

'Liar's Dice' is Geethu Mohandas's directorial venture. She she had previously made short film Kelkkunndo in 2008, which received wide acclaim and awards including  National Film Award in the  Special Jury Award / Special Mention (Non-Feature Film).

'Liar's Dice'  had its world premiere at the 2013 Mumbai Film Festival in October 2013, where it took part in the Indian competition section.
