Idea Star Singer fame Arun Gopan is going to marry Nimmy Nair on 22 December 2013. He was the third runner up of the asianet Idea Star Singer 2007 show. The engagement was on April, 2013

Cricketer Sreesanth to Marry Nain (Bhuvneshwari Kumari) on December 12, 2013

It is now confirmed that cricketer Sreesanth is going to marry Nayan on December 12, 2013. The marriage will took place at Guruvayoor. There will be a Rajasthani style (Bhuvaneshwari is from Rajasthan) wedding cum reception at Le Meridien, Kochi on the same day.

Nain is from a royal family in Rajastan. She is jewellery designer.
Nain ( Bhuvneshwari Kumari) is the daughter of Hirendra Singh Shekhavath and Muktha Singh and the grand daughter of Takur Gumaan Singh Shekhavath and Takurani Bhavani Devi.

Sreesanth is the son of Santhakumaran Nair and Savithri Devi from Edappallli, Kochi

Reception of the marriage will be held at Le Meridian on 12 December  and  Kala Auditorium , Kothamnagalam , Ernakulam on December 14, 2014.

Sreesanth is tying the knot with his royal love- Bhuvaneshwari Kumari and the nuptials are tomorrow, 12th December at the Guruvayur Temple near Kochi. On the same evening, there will be a Rajasthani style (Bhuvaneshwari is from Rajasthan) wedding cum reception at Le Meridien, Kochi.

Earlier report by 'The Hindu' indicate that the girl is a gradute and she first met sreesanth when he was playing in Jaipur in 2006. The girl and her family stood beside him during the entire spot-fixing controversy.

Praveen V Dev is the winner of Gandharva Sangeetham 2013

Praveen Dev from Perumbavoor  is declared the winner of Gandharva Sangeetham 2013 in the senior category.There were five finalists. Celebrities including Yesudas, director Kamal, actor Jayaram etc were present during the colorful grand finale. The judges were music directors M. Jayachandran, Ouseppachan and Singer Binny Krishnakumar. Anchor of the show was Kavitha Nair.

The first prize winner received Rs: 4 lakh from Travancore jewellers. The second and thrid place winners received Rs 2 lakh and 1 lakh from land links and tranvancore jewellers, repectively.

Aashiq Abu married Rima Kallingal -Wedding Photos and Video

Malayalam Film actress Rima Kallingal married director Aashiq Abu in a simple ceremony at Kakkanad Sub-Registrar office on November 1, 2013. It was attended by close relatives and friends.

A day before their marriage, they donated Rs. 1 million to a hospital for the treatment of poor patients. The two had then said that they did not want any gala wedding celebrations and instead used the money for charity.


Rima Kallingal had entered film industry with Shyamaprasad movie "Ritu" in 2009. She won kerala state best actress award for Aashiq Abu movie "22 Female Kottayam"

After working as an assistant with director Kamal for a few years, Abu became a full-fledged director in 2009 with Mammootty-starrer "Daddy Cool". Since then he has had a successful career with hits like "Salt N Pepper" and "22 Female Kottayam" and recently 'Idukki gold".
