Kerala State Film Awards 2016 Show will be telecasted on  Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 5:30 PM on wards on Malayalam channel Flowers TV

The winners of 47th Kerala State Film Awards 2016 were honored, and the  trophies and citations  were distributed at a grand ceremony at Thalassery Municipality Stadium on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan distributed the awards to the  talented artistes and technicians of the Malayalam entertainment industry for their contribution to cinema in 2016. The award ceremony also witnessed performances by actors Sobhana, Rima Kallingal, Vineeth, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Roma, Vineeth Kumar, Ramesh Pisharody, singers M Jayachandran, Sithara, Rajalakshmy and Mrudula, among others.

The prestigious JC Daniel award was awarded this year to filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, given his comprehensive contributions to the entertainment industry. The chief minister announced during the award ceremony that the cash prize for the award would be Rs 5 lakh, up from Rs 1 lakh, from next year. Manhole, directed by Vidhu Vincent won the awards for best film and best director award. Vinayakan won Best Actor for his performance in Rajiv Ravi's Kammattipadam. The best actress Award was bagged by Rajeesh Vijayan for her performance in Anuraga Karikkin vellam.

Manikandan Achari (Kammatipaadam) won award for his debut performance in Kammattipadam while Kanchana PK got second best actress Award. Surabhi Lekshmi got special mention for acting in Minnaminungu. Guppy, Kammttipadam, Kaadu Pookkunne neram, Kamboji won most of the awards at Kerala State Film Awards 2016. Malarvadi -new serial on Flowers TV from 25th September 2017

Malarvadi is a new malayalam serial on entertainment channel Flowers TV. The new TV series will be launched on Monday, 25th September 2017 at 7:00 PM. Since then Malarvadi will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM.


Malarvadi is another new serial written by popular writer Joyce. Sthreepadam on Mazhavil Manorama is another TV serial by Joyce currently on Malayalam Television. Manjurukum Kalam is one of his recent hit serials on mini-screen.

Manjurukum Kalam fame Monisha will play the role of heroine Thenmozhi in this family drama. Dr.Sudheendran is giving life to the hero of the serial. Manju Warrier in Comedy Super Nite 3 on Flowers TV

Actress Manju Warrier will be in Flowers TV's -Comedy Super Nite 3 soon.  She is visiting Comedy Super Nite 3 in association with the promotion of her new movie Udaharanam Sujatha. Watch the show on Flowers TV every Monday to Wednesday at 8:30 PM

The promos of the show indicate that there will be two episodes of the show with her. Manju will also be entertaining its hosts and audience as Sujatha, the character of the movie and also show case the very essence of the simple character. She will also be seen talking as Sujatha in Trivandrum dialect.

As seen by the promos, Manju is having a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, comic stints and counters,  along with the hosts and comedy artists. She is also seen along with hosts to trying to control her laughter. Aswathy and  Suraj Venjaramoodu are the hosts of  Comedy Super Nite3 on Flowers TV  which was launched on 21 August 2017 .

Udaharanam Sujatha is a malayalam film directed by debutant Phantom Praveen. The movie is produced by Martin Prakkat ad Joju George. This is the remake of the Tamil film Amma Kanakku, which itself is a remake of the Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata. Manju Warrier plays the role of Sujatha. Nedumudi Venu, Mamta Mohandas and Joju George are her co-stars in this movie. The film is expected to be released by the last week of September 2017. Associated with the promotion, Manju warrier will be seen in other Malayalam channels as well.
