10th Asianet Television Awards 2017: winners List | Anchors | Images |pictures|photos| Telecast Details: The winners of 10th Asianet Television Awards 2017 will be announced soon in a colorful event on  19th May from 6.00 P.M onward at Alsaj convenction Center ,Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum, India 69558

Asianet Television awards is to honour programs on AsianetTV and its artists. The awards include best actor/actress, best entertainer, best judge male/female, favourite anchor male/female, favourite show,favourite junior male/female, favourite fiction/nonfiction comedian, best male/female dancer, supporting actor/actress, favourite dancer male/female  etc.Celebrities from both TV and Movie industry will honour the extraordinary talents from small screen industry and there will be colorful dance and hilarious comedy performance at the show .

Actor Innocent received life time achievement awards, KPAC Lalitha and M. Jaychandran were also honoured during the event.  Actor Jayaram and Parvathy were among the guests of the Television Awards . Malayalam TV Serial bagged 9 Awards including best serial. The full list below

Nagakanyaka 2 Serial on Surya TV from 19th June 2017

Nagakanyaka 2 on Surya TV is the season 2 of the dubbed serial Nagakanyaka aired on Surya TV. The first season was launched on Malayalam Channel Surya TV on 20th June 2016.  It is was one of the top -rated show on Surya TV . The launch date and telecast time of Nagakanyaka 2 is not yet announced.

Update: Nagakanyaka 2 will be launched on 19th June 2017 at 8:00 PM . The serial will be aired every Monday to Friday at 8:00 PM

Naga Kanyaka 2 (Naaga Kanyaka2) - dubbed version of  the second season of Naagin premiered on 8 October 2016 and airs weekends at 8:00 pm IST. Nagin is is created by Colors TV based on Indian Mythology. The thriller serial is conceived by Seema Shrivastav and stories are by Mrinal Jha, R.M Joshi, Neha Singh and Ankush Nagpal. the serial is directed by Santram Varma, Chandni, Niraj, Lalit Marathe and Rakesh Chowdhury.

The main start cast of first season were Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Adaa Khan, and Sudha Chandran. Mouni Roy gave life to the heroine Shivanya in Naagakanaya, 'Ichchadari Naagin'-Shape shifting female snake. She played the  role of  sathi in devotional serial Kailasanathan aired on Asianet. Arjun Bijlani was the hero Rithvik in Naagakanaya. He is now the hero Raghav  of Akkareyanente manasam on Asianet Plus

Mouni Roy is the heroine of Nagakanyaka 2.  She plays duel role of Shivanya and her daughter Shivangi. Kinshuk Mahajan, Karanvir Bohra, Sudha Chandran, Adaa Khan and Aashka Goradia are the other stars of Naagin 2 with Super-natural theme filled with love, revenge, betrayal, violence, lust and seduction between the main characters of the story.

Nagakanyaka 2 Serial on Surya TV 

Nandhini  is another super hit serial on snake theme currently airing on Surya TV. It will add to the list of dubbed TV serials currently telecasting on Surya TV including  Mahaveera Hanuman and Ganga .   Surya TV is now behind Asianet and  Mazhavil Manorma  in BARC ratings.  This new serial may be an attempt to improve ratings.

Actress Charutha Baiju married Basil Chandy | Wedding Photos

Serial and Film Actress Charutha Baiju married Basil Chandy on 15th May 2017 at St Stephen's Bes-Ania Church, Chelad. Close relatives and friends attended the traditional christian wedding followed by grand wedding reception.

Charutha is known to Malayali audience as Anjali in Chandana Mazha serial on Asainet. The pre wedding teaser of Charutha and Basil is goings round this time. They got engaged on 26th February 2017.

Charutha Baiju also referred as Cahrutha Bhaiju  hails from Thripoonithura in Ernakulam, Kerala. She is the daughter of Baiju and Sreelatha. Charutha'a fiancee Basil Chandy Vavachan is from Kothamangalam.

Charutha  came to lime light as the anchor of Kairali TV's Tharolsavam Show.She made her debut in Malayalam Television through the serial 'Achante Makkal' on Surya TV. She got a break through Mazhavil Manorama Serial , Pattu Sari.

Charutha became very popular through her character Anjali in the Asianet Malayalam Serial Chandana Mazha, as character Anjali , Oormila Devi's daughter. She is no longer part of the project, but still audience remember as Anjali.

Vezhambal - Malayalam Serial on Asianet from May 15th, 2017

Vezhambal Serial: Namkaran hindi serial-Malayalam  dubbed version on Asianet : Vezhambal is a new Malayalam Serial on Asianet television Channel from May 15th, 2017. The episodes will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 6:00 PM.

Vezhambal is the dubbed versions of hindi serial Naamkarann aired on Hindi Channel Star Plus which has completed nearly 200 episodes since its premier on 12 September 2016.  Vezhambal  will take the time slot of Seethayanam on Asianet.Neermathalam is another new serial recently launched on Asianet serial with Rebecca Santhosha as the lead actor.

Vezhambal is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and Loknath Pandey based on the story from Hindi movie Zakhm. Aditi Rathore, Zain Imam, Gautam Vig, Nalini Negi, Sushant Mohindru, Reema Lagoo, Sayantani Ghosh, Viraf Patel, Neelam Sivia, Puru Chibber, Gulfam Khan, Rajesh Singh etc  are in the main star cast of this tele-drama.  This serial title track is sung by Shreya Ghoshal with the music by Anu Malik.

Vazhambal tells the story of   Avni,  an illegitimate child of  Ashish and Asha/Ayesha. The parents of Avni,  are not married legally but consider themselves as husband and wife. Arsheen Namdaar plays the role of Child Avni Ayesha.
