Asianet Television Awards 2014 on May 10, 2014 | Winners Complete Details


Asianet has announced its Television Awards 2014 Show . The award show will be held on May 10, 2014, Saturday  at 6 PM at Kozhikodu. Asianet TV awards is  one of its kind in Malayalam Television , an award show conducted only for one channel.

Asianet Television Awards 2013 were distributed at a dazzling function at the Nehru Stadium in Kottayam and over 20000 viewers witnessed the occasion. It was a star-studded event filled with glitz and glamour. Asianet Television Awards 2013 and show was telecasted on May 25 at 6.30 pm.

Sajan Soorya ( Kumkumapoovu) won the best actor award and Divya Vishwanath (Sthreedhanam) & Shelly (Kumkumapoou) shared the best actress award. Who will be winners this time.

Kerala State television awards for 2012 were distributed

The State television awards 2013 for various categories in 2012 were distributed.


Mukundan, who acted in Sandhya Ragam, is the best male actor and Prem Prakash is the second best actor for his role in the same serial.

 Ananya, won the award for the best female actor for Doore broadcast on Mazhavil Manorama. Its sound recordist Ebby has been adjudged the best in that category. Rani Sharan is the second best female actor for her performance in Lorry Girl .

The telefilm Mazhayodoppam Mayunnathu, a censored programme written and directed by Manilal, has won the award in the category of films above 20 minutes. Manilal has won the award for the best director in the same category.

Sandhya Ragam , aired on Amrita TV and directed by Sivamohan Thampi, won the award for the second best serial in the feature category.

Frog, written and directed by Sanalkumar Sasidharan and telecast on Kairali People, won the award the best telefilm in the category of those below 20 minutes and Rithul Sreekumar, who acted in it, won the special jury award.

 Ningal Aranaye Kando , a censored programme directed by Sunanda Bhatt, has won the best documentary (general) award.

T.R. Ratheesh of Indiavision is the best news cameraman, for the programme School .

 Deepa V.M. won the award for the best interviewer for the current affairs programme, Green Report , telecast on Indivision.

 Arun Sankar’s programme Kozhikode Medical College Operation telecast on Indiavision, won him the award for the best investigative journalist

Oru Kuruvi Nammodu Enthu Parayananu , directed by Pradeep M. Nair, and aired on Asianet News, is the best documentary in the science and environment category.

Kanayiyude Kala , a censored programme directed by Nemom Pushparaj, won the award for the best documentary in the biography category. The award for best documentary on women and children went to Akalangalile India dircted by Akhila Premachandran and aired on Asianet.

 Out of Syllabus, directed by S. Jayalekshmi for ViCTERS channel, is the best education programme. Walter D’ Cruz, who directed Pattam Parathunna Penkutty , won the award for the best documentary director.

A. Chandrasekhar’s article Paramparakalkethire Peedana Case Edukkanam won the award for the best article on television.
