Manjil Virinja Poovu - is a new television serial on malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama. The promos of the new show is going air for a while. Its now confirmed that the new tv serial will be launched on 4th March 2018. Manjil Virinja poovu will be aired every Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM
The name of the serial is adopted from the famous song of malyalam movie 'Manjil Virinja pookkal' by film director Fazil with Mohanlal, Sankar and Poornima Jayaram in lead roles. Manjil Virinjal pookkal released in 1980 was the debut movie of super star Mohanlal.
Manjil virinja poovu serial will be soon telecasted on Mazhavil Manorama with actress Malavika Wales and Rekha Ratheesh in lead roles. Shobi Thilakan also plays a supporting role in the tv serial. The detailed list of cast and crew, director, actors and actresses and telecast time will be updated soon. The promos indicate its a story of a village girl working in tea estate for livelihood.

Malavika Wales is known to TV audience through the hit serial Ammauvinte Amma and Ponnambili plays the heroine of Manjil Virinja Pookkal Serial . Malavika Wales debuted through Malarvadi Arts Clubby Vineeth Sreenivasan. Following Malarvadi Arts Club, she was featured in Lenin Rajendran Makaramanju, Innanu Aa Kalyanam, My fan Ramu and Attakadha. Malavika played the lead role in Nandeesha, the Kannada remake of malayalam film Thilakkam. She also acted in Tamil movies Enna Satham Indha Neram, Azhagumagan, Arasuvau Arasan and Telugu movie Dhaari. So far she didn't receive the success she hoped for, from the films. In 2016, Malavika made her debut as Television actress with the serial ‘Ponnambili’ directed by Dileesh Konni aired on Mazhavil Manorama. Malavika Wales is playing a lead role for Sun TV serial Nandini , it’s also showing on Gemini TV, Surya TV and Udaya TV
Rekha Ratheesh is known for Asianet Serial Parasparam. She also acted in My marumakan Mamamkam. She plays a character with negative shades.
